BACKSTORY

Super Smash Bros. started out as an underground "Fight Club" of sorts where Nintendo's mascots duked it out in front of rabid fans. It spawned a cult-following, which resulted in the niche promotion moving beyond the Independent Circuit onto Pay-Per-View. It mysteriously folded after some financial mishaps until former Nintendo Champion, Princess Peach, resurrected it under the "Brawl" label. After many months of success her passion waned and she decided to close down the promising promotion. At the final show her would-be kidnapper, Bowser, returned for a match against King Dedede. It was there that he made his intentions known of starting his own league.

Little did the SSB fans know that he had already purchased the rights from Toadstool. When asked to comment he proceeded to say that it was a coup de grâce in putting SSB out of its misery. Bowser was quite vocal in his disgust with what SSB represented: respect, honor and sportsmanship. Rising from the ashes of the fallen Smash Bros. is a new federation where wins are achieved by any means necessary. This is Koopa All-Stars.

The traditional Super Smash Bros. Intro video began playing, but static interrupted it within seconds as a heavy guitar rift was played over the music. The video changed into a compilation of Bowser and his Koopalings causing mayhem and destruction throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. They were seen capturing Mario and company and locking them in a cage. Bowser then sat upon his throne with a goblet in his hand and watched as they duked it out on a custom battled stage for his enjoyment.

Following the the video the camera surveyed the crowd, who consisted of thousands of Goombas and Toads jumping up and down in anticipation for the debut show. The camera then moved to the stage, which was quite unique compared to the battle octagon of old. It contained a central platform with a track of sorts over it. On the sides were two ramps and a moving bridge underneath the bottom area and finally there was a mysteriously placed bumper in the center above everything. It was clear that simply being a better fighter was no longer the prerequisite for a victory.

Suddenly a thunderous explosion was seen at the entrance curtain, which resulted in the crowd being scared to death. Bowser stomped out carrying a metal suitcase and a golden trophy. He climbed onto the stage and grabbed a microphone for what appeared to be his State of the Union Address.

Bowser: Change. That is what is taking place here. No doubt many of you in this arena and those watching at home were former fans of Super Smash Brothers. I want you to take everything you knew and loved about SSB and throw it away. I am not reviving that garbage promotion. It's dead and never coming back. Instead you are being treated to Koopa All-Stars. Now I know Princess Peach was very stern in her approach to this Blood Sport. She felt that the battles should do the talking and so she rarely wasted time with the dreaded "20-Minute Promo", but I'm the King of the Koopas and I'll do what I want. Make no mistake about it... I didn't create this for the competition, nor am I doing it to please the fans. Koopa All-Stars appeals to an audience of one... ME!

The crowd began booing him.

Bowser: Ha ha, it doesn't matter what you think about that. SSB is gone. If you wanna watch your heroes Mario and DK, you gotta deal with it. Speaking of my talking props, I hope you fellas enjoyed your brief reprieve after SSB closed because you guys will be killing each other for my enjoyment shortly, don't worry. It sounds cold-hearted, but you're kidding yourself if you think these disgustos watched SSB for any other reason. Not to worry, for I am not a heartless individual. I'm throwing you guys a bone as I present you the championship you will be fighting over.

Bowser presented the golden trophy to the camera.

Bowser: I told you, change was eminent. Championship belts are so overdone, so I'm using this trophy. It represents what this company is all about. You get hit with a belt, it hurts sure, but not compared to being hit with this bad boy. This cup is not just any ordinary piece of gold, it represents the biggest prize in sports today. Now everyone says their title is the best, but it actually means something here. Tonight and next week I will be hosting an 8-person tournament to crown the first holder of this cup in what I call "The Best of the Best." As everyone knows, I purchased the rights to SSB. In that I own the video library and all the talent who ever worked for the company. But more important, I own the title belts.

Bowser then reached into the suitcase and pulled out three separate belts.

Bowser: In the old days we had two singles belts: the original SSB Championship and the secondary Nintendo Championship. Along with the SSB Championship from Brawl are three very prestigious titles. The cup is worthy of being called the biggest prize because it is a unification of these championship belts. So tonight we will have the first-round of matches and next week we will crown the champion of this wonderful cup, the NITRO GRAND PRIX TRIPLE CROWN!

Bowser held the trophy into the air as he kicked the title belts to the side.

Bowser: And lastly there is going to be some serious rule changes to the matches. Disqualification and referees? Consider them a thing of the past. And these 1-stock matches you love so much? I don't think so. From now on it's going to be a 3-stock affair. And as you can clearly see: the boring stage of the past has been wiped from this Earth. And I wouldn't assume you will have things in hand if you "get used to" this battle stage, boys. There's going to be a new one every week. I have spoiled everyone long enough by hearing me speak, so now it's time for you guys to spoil me. Try not to die out here, mwa ha ha ha!

Bowser left the stage with the NGP Trophy as the camera zoomed away from the stage to get a better look at the obstacles awaiting the fighters.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

All-Stars returned from the break with the sound of the bell ringing. The announcer told everyone that the next contest was the first match of the tournament. Mario's music played first as he entered the arena to a thunderous ovation. He climbed onto the stage and grew large as if he ate a Super Mushroom. Fox came out next to a somewhat negative reaction from the crowd. He blew them off and headed straight for the stage. Mario extended his hand in good sportsmanship, but Fox showed just as much approval of that as he did the fans by crossing his arms and looking away.

Misty: Welcome to the very first match-up in Koopa All-Stars history as the legend himself, Mario, is set to do battle with Fox McCloud. Mario wanted to be a good sport, but Fox will have none of it.

King Boo: Bowser explained to everyone that this was a fight to the finish, not a game of friggin' checkers. Why would you shake the hand of someone you're gonna kick in the face?

Misty: Bowser may have said that, but I think it's up to the boys or not if they wanna show some class.

King Boo: I hope Mario is ready for some class because I have a feeling that Fox is takin' him to school!

MARIO VS. FOX

The match started out with Mario running towards Fox and baseball sliding into him. After connecting with the attack Mario backed up and head-butted Fox into the air. He tried to jump at him and give him a mule kick, but Fox avoided the attack by using his Fire Fox move to boost away from Mario. Mario landed on the base of the stage and crouched down to drop down to the lower platform. He grabbed a capsule and tossed it into the air above the higher platform. Fox awaited Mario to jump back up and dropkicked him in the head and knocked him off the stage. Fox forgot about the capsule and it fell on his head and exploded and resulted in his KO as well.

Mario and Fox returned from the out-of-bounds and continued their match. Fox attempted to kick Mario by running towards him with his leg extended, but Mario blocked it and grabbed Fox. Mario spun him around before launching him to the side. Fox jumped forward and landed on the moving bridge. Mario joined him and they exchanged shots with one another. Fox jumped into the air and attempted to drillkick Mario in the head, but missed and fell underneath the stage. Fox once again tried Fire Fox to move towards the stage, but the bridge had moved to the other end and he was KO'd.

Mario was waiting for Fox to return on the upper-level and noticed a Pokeball. He picked it up and tossed it down. A Chansey popped out and spawned three eggs. Mario went to grab one when Fox returned and snuck behind Mario and crouched down before backflip kicking him into the air. Mario was launched into the bumper and sent back down near Fox. Fox grabbed Mario and monkey-flipped him to the side. Mario flew into the right ramp and used Super Jump Punch to return to the stage. Fox tried to dropkick him off, but Mario rolled behind him and punched him hard in the back. Fox went flying past the ramp and out of sight of the camera.

Winner: Mario

Misty: Mario is victorious. Had this match taken place in the old-school SSB that wouldn't be the case since he was the first to be knocked out.

King Boo: Oh it's okay to follow the new rules when it suits Mario, but not the other way around? Twas a good effort, but I hope we see more weapons in the next match. The Pokeballs should only have Charizards in them, not lame Pokemans.

Mario raised his arm in victory as the crowd cheered loudly for his efforts. Fox had returned from his last KO and attempted to cheapshot Mario from behind, but Mr. Nintendo saw it coming and ducked Fox's attack. Fox stumbled forward and fell off the stage yet again to the crowd's delight.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Misty: If you just joined us-

King Boo: Then you missed some important stuff. Tournament of DEATH!

Misty: Not exactly, but we will be crowning the first NGP Champion at the conclusion.

King Boo: No, there's gonna be some blood. I went through the liberty of placing a weapon on the stage during the commercial

Misty: Stay in your seat, you.

Samus walked through the curtain carrying her helmet in her arm before jumping on the stage and putting it on. Donkey Kong came out next. He looked a little bruised up, but shook it off and jogged down the aisle to enter the match.

Misty: Looks like DK may be nursing some injuries. He did compete twice not even a week ago.

King Boo: Going against Captain Falcon is enough to put somebody out of action. Samus should take advantage. Get the Hammer!

Misty: DK was the last SSB Champion, you'd think he'd get a bye in the unification of the title.

King Boo: You'd think.

SAMUS VS. DONKEY KONG

Samus charged forward and executed a shoulderblock on DK and sent him back slightly. Samus skipped off the ground and kick DK in the head and knocked him flying. DK jumped forward and landed on the bridge. Samus jumped towards him, but DK crouched down and swatted her away with a backhand. Samus was knocked onto the upper platform and so DK jumped towards her. He attempted to volleyspike her using his clasped fists, but he missed and Samus executed the Screw Attack and drilled him in the torso. After she landed on the ground she pulled her blaster-arm back and struck Kong with a shot in the gut and launched him off the stage.

DK returned from his KO and grabbed Samus and lifted her onto his shoulders. He began carrying her towards the bridge when she broke free and launched her grapple beam out. DK rolled behind her and avoided the grab which left Samus open for attack. DK crouched down spun around in a circle and launched Samus into the air past the bumper and out of sight for the KO. Samus returned to the stage and kicked DK in the back and knocked him back. Samus moved to the lower level and grabbed a Hammer and begun swinging it about. DK jumped over her and quickly using Spinning Kong to fly away from her. Samus jumped towards him with the hammer and struck him two times and launched him into the air. DK hit the bumper and bounced down towards her where he was hit a third time and KO'd.

After the KO the hammer wore out and so Samus began taunting the crowd. They started to boo at her, but quickly yelled in excitement when DK returned. He grabbed her and placed Samus on his shoulders again. He jumped into the air and tossed Samus into the bumper. She bounced off it and went towards the right ramp. As she slid down she used Bomb to turn into her Morph Ball form and roll onto the central stage. DK was standing in the lower area and clapped his hands together and hit Samus from below and KO'd her. DK jumped onto the main platform as he awaited Samus to return with her final life. She tried to kick him upon her fall, but DK quickly turned on his shield bubble and blocked it. Samus tried to break it, but DK rolled behind her and grabbed her. He tossed her to the side and jumped up after her. DK decided to jump backwards and trick Samus into thinking he would attack. Samus used her Screw Attack to prevent DK from attacking, but since she never made contact she was vulnerable. Once Samus landed DK struck her with a slap and launched her off the stage completely.

Winner: Donkey Kong

Misty: And DK advances to the next round, bringing himself one step closer to reclaiming his title with a hard-fought victory.

King Boo: No rest for the weary because next week they have to fight twice.

Misty: We don't know who the remaining four of the tournament are, but we do know that DK will face Mario in a rematch from their last encounter.

King Boo: Hopefully they can rekindle the magic of their arcade classic with the use of a HAMMER!

Misty: What is with you and the hammer?

King Boo: It looks painful.

DK celebrated his victory as the tournament brackets were updated on the main screen. DK grinned as it showed Mario as his next opponent. The camera moved backstage where Bowser was standing next to Mario. He was taunting him that his next opponent would be the guy he lost to not that long ago. Mario walked away from him as Bowser continued to berate him, saying that it's going to be hell next week.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Link pushed through the curtain and walked down the ramp and then dropped to his knees and flexed his arms. He climbed onto the stage and picked up a Pokeball. He tossed it down and released a Clefairy. Before the Pokemon could do anything Link kicked him off the stage and started celebrating. He grabbed another and this time it turned out to be Pikachu, his actual opponent for the match.

LINK VS. PIKACHU

Pikachu started the match out by running towards Link and attempting to head-butt him. Link quickly jumped over Pikachu's attack and sliced him in the back with the Master Sword. He pulled out his hookshot and tried to snare Pikachu in, but the Pokemon rolled behind Link and avoided it. With Link immobile for the moment it gave Pikachu the chance to grab him from behind and toss him off the stage. Pikachu grabbed a Fan and stalked the edge of the stage for Link. Link tried using his Spin Attack to rotate in a circle and return towards the main platform. Pikachu tossed the Fan at Link as he came towards him and this caused him to stop spinning and bounce into the air. Pikachu then jumped off the platform and gave Link a back-kick for the KO.

Link returned to the match and jumped off his temporary platform with the swing of his sword at Pikachu. Link tossed out his Boomerang and knocked Pikachu flying into the left ramp. Link went onto the moving bridge underneath the ramp and jumped towards Pikachu to performed his Spin Attack. Link sliced Pikachu from underneath and KO'd him. Pikachu entered the match and stood on the main area as the bridge started to move to the right. Pikachu crouched down on the lower platform and zapped Link in the back of the head with lightning to knock him off the bridge. The bridge was all the way on the right side and so Link's second life was taken with the single attack from Pikachu!

When Link came back to life he stomped on the main platform which prompted Pikachu to try and hit him from below. Link quickly blocked Pikachu's tail whip with his shield bubble and avoided the damage. Pikachu jumped onto the main area, but Link managed to grab him with his hookshot this time. Link then kicked him backwards, sending him flying into the side ramp. He then proceeded to pick up a Pokeball and tossed it at Pikachu. Pikachu used Quick Attack to dash vertically and then horizontally to make it back on the stage. Because the Pokeball never hit Pikachu, it simply flew off the stage and nothing was released. Link pulled out a Bomb and tossed it at Pikachu when he landed. Pikachu blocked and then picked it up himself and tossed it at Link. It exploded in his face and knocked him at the edge of the main platform. Pikachu jumped above Link and came crashing down on him with a thunderous head-butt. The impact knocked Link flying off the stage and so Pikachu was awarded the victory with two lives to spare.

Winner: Pikachu

Link grabbed a hold of the barricade and started asking for mouth-to-mouth from the women in the front row. They answered by throwing their popcorn at him.

Misty: Pikachu with the KO and the win.

King Boo: Link got robbed. All these beautiful women in the crowd had him distracted.

Misty: I doubt that's why he lost.

King Boo: Yeah, if he was only looking at you.

Misty: Oh, SHUT UP!

The camera moved backstage where Rosalina, the backstage correspondent, was awaiting the winner of the previous match.

Rosalina: Pikachu. Congrats on your big win. Next week you will be in one of the semi-final matches and possibly the finals. Do you have any thoughts on facing Mario or DK and your second-round opponent?

Pikachu: Pika... Pika...

Rosalina: Absolutely. What other choice do you have?

Misty: Don't go anywhere folks, coming up next is our main event and the last first-round match of the tournament!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Misty: That was our last commercial break. So far Mario, DK and Pikachu have moved onto the semi-finals. Truly a Nintendo Who's Who.

King Boo: Nintendo? That's a list for the entire gaming industry. But it's to be expected, it's called "Best of the Best" for a reason.

Misty: Let's not waste anymore time and get to the final match. I wonder who the final participants are?

King Boo: Whoever wins the next match is winning the whole thing. I have this feeling inside.

Kirby pushed opened the stage curtain and walked out wearing sunglasses. He looked to the crowd and saw a little boy extending his arms. Kirby acted like he was going to give the kid his shades when he decided to snap them in half and drop them on the ground. Kirby laughed at the kid and made him cry before climbing onto the stage.

Misty: What a jerk! Who takes pleasure in making a kid cry like that?

King Boo: The kid's a pansy. It would've been better if he did it to a girl though!

Misty: You're sick.

King Boo: Oh, you love it.

Yoshi's music played over the speakers as he walked down the aisle. He extended his arms to the side and clapped hands of fans as he made his way towards the stage.

King Boo: Oh, look at Mr. Suck-Up.

Misty: Yoshi is a beloved character, he's simply acknowledging his fanbase.

King Boo: Bah, Yoshi is a cutesey dinosaur... only women and children like him.

Misty: Are you saying women and children are somehow not important?

King Boo: Oh look, the match is starting...

KIRBY VS. YOSHI

Kirby walked towards Yoshi and poked him in the nose. Yoshi responded by extending his tongue out and eating Kirby via Egg Lay. The result was Kirby placed inside an eggshell. As he struggled to get out Yoshi jumped over him and stomped on the egg and damaged him severely. Kirby finally broke free and began running away. Yoshi chased after him and head-butted him in the back and launched Kirby into the left ramp. Yoshi stood underneath the ramp on the main platform for his next attack, but he was stopped in his tracks when Kirby used Stone to turn into a rock and smash Yoshi in the head. The attack knocked Yoshi into the air and so Kirby kicked him to the side and knocked him off the stage.

Kirby walked over and attempted to lift a crate into the air. As he was busy lifting it onto his back Yoshi returned and stomped on it. The crate happened to be a bomb and blew up, sending both fighters flying. Kirby hit the left ramp again and was saved from a nasty KO. Yoshi was knocked into the bumper and knocked back onto the central platform. Kirby rolled off the ramp and crouched down to go onto the lower platform. He taunted Yoshi and ran to the rotating bridge which was on the right side. Yoshi jumped over it and performed the Yoshi Bomb to come crashing on top of Kirby, but the pink puffball rolled to the side and avoided it. Kirby crouched down and uppercutted Yoshi with his foot. The kick knocked Yoshi into the air and he hit the bottom corner of the right ramp and was spiked down into the pit!

Kirby jumped onto the main area as the bridge began to disappear to the other side and danced. Yoshi returned from his KO and performed the Yoshi Bomb on Kirby. Kirby was launched towards the right into the ramp. It did not stop his flight as he went past it and so Kirby began to fly back towards the stage and eventually used Final Cutter to jump higher and crash on the central platform. As he landed his sword unleashed a blue wave towards Yoshi. Yoshi managed to jump over it, but the wave returned and hit him in the back due to Fox using his Reflector on it. When Yoshi was hit with the move he was knocked towards Kirby who then kicked Yoshi in the torso and sent him flying back towards Fox. Fox quickly jumped over Yoshi and he was KO'd for the third time.

Winner: Kirby

Misty: What was that? Fox cheated to help Kirby!

King Boo: How did he cheat? Fox never touched Yoshi, he simply avoided being hit.

Misty: Why is he even on the stage?

King Boo: Must've dropped his wallet during his match or something.

Misty: Yeah, must've.

Kirby and Fox embraced in a hug as they celebrated Kirby's victory over Yoshi. Yoshi returned to the stage and shoved Kirby to the side and got in Fox's face. Kirby kicked Yoshi in the back of the knee which resulted in the duo double-teaming him. Fox grabbed Yoshi and held him in place as Kirby picked up a green shell and looked to hit their hostage with it. The crowd erupted as Mario and DK ran out from backstage to make the save. Kirby dropped the shell and jumped off the stage as Fox tossed Yoshi away and joined his partner. Mario and DK challenged Fox and Kirby to come back to the stage and have a fair fight. As they walked backwards towards the curtain the owner of All-Stars, Bowser, walked out and blocked their path. He looked at them and then placed his arms around their shoulders.

Bowser: This is what I like to see. I told everyone at the start that there would be no disqualifications and you guys are the first to truly take advantage of that. I love it. And you "Bee Eff Effs" shouldn't get too acquainted since you'll be doing battle in the first match next week. I guess it's fitting in a way. The last SSB Champion of the original run versus the last SSB Champion of the Brawl run. And unlike when you guys last fought, there won't be a celebration of "sportsmanship". Whoever wins between you two will simply fall at the hands of the guy who is going to win the cup... Kirby!

Misty: Well, it looks like Bowser has given Kirby his endorsement.

King Boo: I told you, whoever won the previous match is taking it home.

Misty: Kirby still has to get past Pikachu and the cat's out of the bag. DK and Mario are going to be on the lookout for Fox.

King Boo: That's if they even make it to the finals... remember they still gotta face each other.

Misty: That's all next week where someone is going home with the Nitro Grand Prix Triple Crown Championship. Bowser clearly wants Kirby to win it, but we'll have to see where the chips fall next time.

The camera showed Mario and DK discussing something on the stage as Bowser looked on menacingly.

The All-Stars intro played without the SSB teaser opening that was featured on the debut broadcast. The camera then got a shot of the crowd, which featured Kokiri and Zoras rather then Toads and Goombas, and zoomed out to showcase the new stage. While the stage from Peach's Castle was rather small and full of many barriers, the Hyrule Castle stage featured a lengthy bottom platform with very few distractions barring the tornado that would occasionally appear.

Mario's theme song played over the arena speakers as he made his way out from the back. He started jumping in place before hopping down the aisle and slapping the occasional hand of an excited fan., He jumped onto the stage and moved to the middle tower and went onto the tallest platform before posing for the crowd to take photos. Donkey Kong came out next. He stomped on the ramp before jogging down the aisle and headed towards the stage. As he did, Mario dropped down from the highest point on the stage and met DK in the middle of the main platform.

Misty: We are coming to you live from the Hyrule Castle and this is Koopa All-Stars.

King Boo: We are wasting little time in getting things underway with our first match.

Misty: Tonight we will be crowning our first champion, but unlike last week the winner will have to fight twice.

King Boo: It creates an interesting dynamic to the matches. Nobody is going to want to exhaust themselves in their first match, but they can't overlook their opponent either. Course I doubt Mario can overlook Fat Boy.

Misty: Fat Boy? You're so mature.

King Boo: I know you are, but what am I.

MARIO VS. DONKEY KONG

DK extended his hand out for respect to Mario, but he was greeted with a slap to the cheek. The crowd let out a loud "ooohhh!" as Mario ran away. DK rubbed his face in confusion and began chasing Mario. Mario stopped at the edge of the middle area and jumped over DK as he ran towards him. When Mario landed on the ground he crouched down and executed his breakdance kick to knocked DK back. Kong went flying into the tower on the right side of the stage and bounced back towards Mario. Mario tried to head-butt him, but DK's large frame forced them to go flying all the way across to the left side of the stage. DK forced Mario towards the edge and grabbed him by the arms and placed him on his shoulders. Mario wiggled free and jumped down his back. He saw a bob-omb and looked to pick it up, but it began walking towards him. Mario immediately used Super Jump Punch to avoid it. The bomb walked right into DK and blew him up and off the stage!

Mario taunted DK by growing large in size. When DK returned from his KO he jumped down off the temporary platform and kicked Mario in the head as he taunted him. As Mario went flying off the stage DK looked and saw a pokeball on the ground. He picked it up and was about to toss it at his feet but he saw Mario jumping back on the stage, so he opted to toss it at him. The ball connected with Mario's head and knocked him off the stage. The ball did manage to stay on the stage after bouncing off his head and released a Chansey, who then placed three Eggs on the stage before disappearing. DK grabbed one and tossed it over his head, but Mario returned from his KO and kicked it away. DK started winding up his arm for his punch, but Mario performed Spin Attack to drill Kong and launch him into the air. DK landed on the middle platform in the center of the stage and slowly started to make it to a standing position. Mario attempted to hit him from below, but DK crouched down and stomped him down to the base of the stage. DK jumped off the platform and started winding up his arm as he fell and then unleashed the DKO on the fallen Mario to punch him off the stage with a thunderous KO.

DK started panting and wiped the sweat from his forehead as he was leading 2-to-1. He watched as Mario dove off the platform and attempted to kick him. DK put up his arms and blocked the attack. Mario kicked off DK's arms to springboard himself in the opposite direction. Mario rolled towards a Barrel and picked it up and tossed it at DK. Kong jumped over it only for Mario to finally connect with the kick to the face and KO him from the match. DK returned to the stage and looked extremely angry with Mario. He jumped into the air and stomped on the stage to cause it to shake. Using that opportunity he grabbed Mario and placed him on his shoulders. With Mario at his mercy he jumped off the stage and committed murder-suicide.

Both fighters immediately returned to the stage for a case of SUDDEN DEATH(~!) since they each lost their final life at the same time. Both DK and Mario ran towards the other and attempted to finish the other off with a clash of attacks. DK tried to slap Mario, but he rolled between DK's legs and executed his breakdance kick to launch DK off the stage for the win!

Winner: Mario

The crowd rose to their feet and applauded their tremendous efforts. DK climbed back on the stage and shoved Mario in the chest and yelled at him about the slap. Mario said he was trying to win the match and explained it wasn't personal. DK pointed to the Koopa Banner and told him he'd better win it all before he jumped off the stage and headed towards the back.

Misty: Wow, what a match!

King Boo: I see what you did there Mario. That bitch slap he gave DK at the start of the match was genius. It threw him completely off his game and forced him to rely on his animal instincts rather then playing it smart.

Misty: Mario is going to the finals, but who will he face?

King Boo: The future NGP Champion, of course.

Misty: You're getting ahead of yourself. Mario just put on an amazing performance.

King Boo: Maybe Mario is getting ahead of himself. He put all his effort in overcoming Kong. He's going to be exhausted when the real match comes along.

Misty: Except for the fact that being the first match means he'll have more time to recooperate.

King Boo: Good point, poor Kirby. I hope Pikachu missed his flight!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

All-Stars returned from the break with a video recapping the match between Mario and Donkey Kong.

Misty: As you can tell, the crowd is still buzzing from the absolute-classic they just witnessed.

King Boo: Classic, really? We've had like three matches total. Next thing you'll be saying Mario is a legend or something.

Misty: Let's send it to our backstage correspondent, Rosalina, who is getting a word with Fox McCloud.

The camera moved backstage as Rosalina entered Fox's lockeroom.

Rosalina: Fox, can we get a word? Most fans know that you and Kirby were a tag team from your time in Brawl. What is your relationship here in Koopa All-Stars? There hasn't been any indication that there will be a tag division. He didn't help you in your match, so why are you helping him?

Fox didn't look at the camera and left the room.

Rosalina: No word from Fox, but with Kirby's match occurring next...

Kirby's theme played over the speakers as he stepped through the curtain. He began kicking at the barricade to annoy the fans who were hanging onto it before climbing onto the stage. Pikachu came out next to the sound of his music. He stopped at the base of the entrance ramp before calling down a thunderbolt and heading towards the stage.

Misty: It's time for our next tournament match. Whoevers wins this match will face Mario for the championship.

King Boo: Pikachu should've stayed in his pokeball because there's no way he's losing with Bowser's Stamp of Approval.

Misty: I don't see Bowser here. I also don't see his buddy Fox. He's going to have to do it on his own.

KIRBY VS. PIKACHU

Pikachu jumped back quickly to avoid any initial attacks from Kirby. He spat out a Thunder Jolt to put Kirby in defense and then ran across the base of the stage. He jumped over Kirby's body and then drilled his head into him and knocked him towards the left of the stage. Kirby rolled with the attacks and held onto the edge of the stage. Pikachu picked up a fan and placed it into his mouth before following Kirby near the ledge. As Kirby tried to pull his body back up Pikachu tossed the fan at him and knocked him bouncing into the air. Pikachu then positioned himself below Kirby and called forth Thunder from above. Kirby quickly transformed into a rock using Stone and came crashing on top of Pikachu, while at the same time avoiding any damage from the lightning-based attack. Pikachu went flying into the air and they essentially switched positions. Kirby released his move and transformed back to normal. He attempted to kick Pikachu as he fell, but the mouse quickly utilized Quick Attack to double-jump away from him. Sadly Pikachu landed inside the tornado and was ejected into the air and KO'd.

Kirby ran across the stage and jumped over the twister before grabbing a capsule. He tossed it on the ground and revealed a ray gun. He shot the right tower a few times just to show off before blowing on the tip of it. Pikachu returned from his KO and snuck behind Kirby as he was showing off and grabbed him before launching him on the other end of the stage. Kirby tossed the gun away and it hit Pikachu in the head. Kirby quickly utilized Final Cutter to jump into the air, but he was felt short and crashed out-of-bounds. Pikachu stood up and rubbed his forehead before grabbing the gun. Kirby returned from his KO and jumped towards Pikachu and tried to kick the weapon out of his mouth. Pikachu shot him several times and knocked him away. The tornado reformed and nearly caught Pikachu, but he jumped over it and landed on a platform in the middle of the stage. Kirby grabbed a motion-sensor bomb from the ground and tossed it at Pikachu as he jumped towards him. Pikachu shot him with the gun, but the bomb still hit Pikachu and they went flying in opposite directions. Kirby began flying towards Pikachu and used Inhale to consume him, but he did not absorb his powers... he merely kept him in his mouth. Kirby purposely landed on the mine and allowed himself to be blown up alongside Pikachu.

When they returned from their dual-KO's, Kirby signaled to the curtain and then transformed into a rock. Pikachu walked over and picked up a pokeball and tossed it at the rock. It bounced off the rock and out popped a Goldeen. It began bouncing around, doing little to nothing. Fox jumped onto the stage and shot Pikachu with a laser from his rifle. This drew Pikachu's attention, which resulted in the pokemon running at Fox and head-butting him in the gut. With Fox stunned Pikachu spat a lightning-bolt from his mouth and knocked Fox off the stage. When he returned around he was greeted with a kick from Kirby and launched off the stage.

Winner: Kirby

Kirby began jumping up and down in celebration and shouted at the crowd that he won all his own without any outside help.

Misty: And that damned Kirby gets another win thanks to Fox. Don't say Fox didn't help either because he shot Pikachu in the back!

King Boo: I wasn't gonna say anything. And whether Fox did it or not, you act like it's against the rules or something.

Misty: It's not fair.

King Boo: Pikachu shouldn't have turned his back to Kirby. And besides, losing to the NGP Champion is nothing to be ashamed of.

Misty: It just makes me upset because I don't think Kirby needs to do these things to win matches.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Bowser was seen speaking on the phone when the show returned from the break. He was laughing about something and mentioned bringing in whoever he was on the phone with real soon. He brought up the title and said tonight they were crowning the champion and that everything was going according to plan.

Misty: Before we head to the main event, we have a special attraction match featuring those who were unsuccessful in the Quarter-Finals.

King Boo: So it's a loser exhibition?

Misty: That's a little crass.

King Boo: You said it. You could've just said it was a match, but now they're gonna know you think they're losers.

The camera showed all four combatants already on the stage, having made their individual entrances during the commercial.

FREE-FOR-ALL
FOX VS. SAMUS VS. LINK VS. YOSHI

The bell sounded after a 3-2-1 countdown and the match began. Yoshi was surrounded by three opponents and so he jumped into the air and performed the Yoshi Bomb by crashing down on all of them. He focused his attack on Samus by jumping towards her and head-butting her down to the ground. Samus went flying towards the right tower and so she began charging her gun as Yoshi went after her. Fox began charging Fire Fox and used his rocket to launch his body into Link. Link was knocked off the stage and grabbed a hold of the ledge to remain in the match. Fox tried to kick his hand, but Link swatted him with his sword and climbed back up. Link jumped over Fox's body as he bounced off the wall and sliced him in the torso with the Master Sword to KO him. Link then pulled out a Bomb and ran towards the other end of the stage. Before he could toss it at his other opponents it blew up in his face. Fox returned from the KO and snuck behind Link and performed the splits and launched him flying into the right tower and he bounced back towards Fox. Fox quickly jumped over him and he was KO'd.

Yoshi and Samus continued battling as Fox and Link exchanged lives. Samus attempted to shoot Yoshi with her Charge Shot, but he jumped over it and landed behind her. He used his tongue to grab her and toss her off the stage. Yoshi stood near the ledge and awaited Samus and hit her with his tail as she attempted to recover. Link returned from his KO and grabbed a capsule that was sitting on the top of the middle tower. Samus stomped on him and kicked it away. Fox grabbed the capsule and tossed it at Samus, but she performed Screw Attack to avoid it. Link pulled out his Boomerang and tossed it at the incoming capsule and stopped it from hitting his body. There was a hammer inside and so he picked it up and started swinging it. He chased after the other fighers as they ran towards the right and hid near the ledge. Link jumped after them and smashed all three several times before they were eventually KO'd.

Yoshi returned and grabbed a fire flower and chased after Link. Yoshi tossed an egg using Egg Toss and it hit Link in the head and knocked him off the stage. Link grabbed the ledge, but Yoshi started using the fire flower to spew flames near the edge of the stage. Link tried several times to return using Spin Attack, but the flames kept cutting him off and he was KO'd. When it ran out Yoshi tossed it away only to be cornered by Fox and Samus. Fox jumped behind Yoshi and kicked him as Samus smacked him with her blaster-arm. Samus rolled back as Fox pinned him in place with his "Chun-Li" kicks. She charged her blaster and then executed her Charge Shot on Yoshi from point-blank range and KO'd him. Fox ran towards Samus when she was stunned from her blast and grabbed her quickly and monkey flipped her off the stage.

Fox jumped to the main area and looked around to see Yoshi standing by himself. Yoshi ran to the left edge of the stage and dared Fox to meet him. Fox ran at him, but Yoshi ate him using Egg Lay and transformed him into an egg. As he did, the egg fell right off the stage! Before Yoshi could move anymore to check on any items he was greeted with a Bomb Link had tossed from the other end of the stage. Yoshi rolled out of the way only for Link to come crashing down on top of him with his sword pointing down. Yoshi was launched into the air and so Link jumped towards him and used Spin Attack to knock him further out-of-bounds and secure the KO and victory.

Winner: Link

Link jumped off the stage and began walking towards the back, but not before making the phone-gesture with his hands to the ladies in the crowd, suggesting they should call him.

Misty: Link wins the Free-For-All match by the skin of his teeth.

King Boo: That match was crazy, you really couldn't focus on everything since so much was going on at once.

Misty: Link even KO'd all his opponents with the hammer.

King Boo: Yeah, the hammer rules. Imagine if there was a hammer match. That would be madness!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

The fans are greeted with a video package showcasing various championship matches that took place between the three titles that were unfiied to make the Nitro Grand Prix Triple Crown Championship. It was highlighted with a 'behind the scenes' look at what goes into making a title belt and the eventual tournament cup.

Misty: During the break we sat down with the finalists to get their thoughts on making it this far and what their strategy is going into the championship match.

Mario: It was a complete honor to be considered for the tournament. I have been a fixture in Super Smash since day one and while I haven't always been in the championship hunt, I like to think my name still means enough to bring some prestige to the title. As far as the match goes, I had a grueling bout with DK and there's no way I'm at 100%. But like any match, I'm going to give it my all. I'm not worried about Fox. If he shows his face, I will eliminate him before he can do anything to soil the championship match.

Kirby: It's funny, I find it hard to believe that we had to have a tournament to crown the first champion. It should've just been given to me. There's really no one on my level. Well, except for Fox. We're even. It actually hurts me a little inside to hear the whispers backstage. They think he's been cheating for me. Whaaat? That's crazy talk. I merely requested that he come to the battle stage to help me celebrate my victories. Sadly that villain Mario defeated him in the opening round, so I want him to live vicariously through me.

Misty: There you have it folks. Mario and Kirby will do battle to crown the first NGP Champion in Koopa All-Stars. Don't go anywhere because the epic encounter is next!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

A thunderous explosion was unleashed at the base of the entrance curtain as Bowser made his way out. He began walking over to the commentary booth to join the duo.

King Boo: Stand up and greet our illustrious leader. Forgive her sir, she is a lady afterall. I would stand up myself, but I don't have any legs being a ghost and all. Ha ha!

Bowser: Bringing out your big guns I see.

King Boo: Only the best for this match.

Misty: What brings you out here, sir?

Bowser: As if I need an invite to speak my mind to the masses. I want a front row view of the main event. The winner is getting my cup, so it's best that I watch them from the best seat in the house.

Misty: Aren't you a little biased though? You did say Kirby was winning.

Bowser: *sigh* I've never claimed to be fair and impartial. This is my company and I'll back whoever I want. I hold nothing against Mario despite our history, but his attitude is not what I want representing Koopa All-Stars.

Mario's theme music played over the speakers as he flew out from the curtain wearing his Wing Cap from Super Mario 64. He made several rotations around the stage before landing on top and posing for the crowd.

King Boo: What a show-off.

Bowser: Indeed. Humility is underrated. I think the basic entrance is far more impressive.

Misty: Coming from the guy who has bombs explode when he comes out.

Bowser: You say something?

Misty: No.

Kirby walked out next donning a "hat" that resembled the helmet from Fox McCloud, suggesting he went ahead and copied his powers in the backstage area. Kirby was wearing a t-shirt and removed it as he reached the edge of the ramp and looked to toss it into the crowd, but instead chose to throw it at Mario.

King Boo: Now that's how you make an entrance. What the heck?! Mario just tossed the shirt into the crowd.

Bowser: Kirby doesn't look intimidated or impressed.

Misty: Well, the match hasn't even started yet. Kirby is just trying to get under Mario's skin, but doesn't seem to have worked.

Bowser: Once Kirby KO's him a few times and he realizes how out of his element he is, he definitley will be.

King Boo: Yeah!

BEST OF THE BEST TOURNAMENT: FINAL ROUND

MARIO VS. KIRBY

Mario started the match out by jumping back and launching several Fireballs at Kirby before running at him. Kirby rolled back and utilized his Fox ability and shot several lasers from his Blaster. Mario quickly turned on his shield bubble to block the shots. As his protection started to wear down Kirby jumped over him and appeared behind his opponent. Kirby crouched down and kicked at Mario. The kick knocked him back slightly and so Kirby executed his Final Cutter to crash onto the stage and blast a beam from his sword. The beam hit Mario and knocked him further back. Mario rolled off the stage, but grabbed a hold of the ledge. Kirby walked towards him and stepped on his hands and taunted him as he grinded his foot on his fingers. Mario used Super Jump Punch to bounce into Kirby and uppercut him back in a barrage of coins. Kirby went flying into a tornado, which held him in place before launching him into the air and eventually KOing him.

Mario ran towards the middle and jumped on one of the platforms and picked up a crate and tossed it to the left. Out popped a Heart Container, but before he could go after it, Kirby returned and kicked him off his current platform. Kirby grabbed Mario and jumped into the air and drove him into the canvas with a piledriver. Mario bounced off the ground and into the tornado. Kirby began flying over the tornado and waited for it to launch Mario into the air and drill-kicked him back into it for a second trip. As Mario was launched into the air Kirby grabbed the Heart Container. Since he had just come back from a new life he was not healed, but prevented Mario from using it.

Despite going inside the tornado twice Mario was still in the match. Mario challenged Kirby to face him on the right of the stage and as the pink puffball followed him, Mario grabbed a red shell and tossed it on the ground. It began rolling across the stage and knocked both fighters into the air. Kirby used that moment to kick Mario in the head and knock him off the stage. While still in the air Kirby began flying to the higher ground to avoid the shell. Mario jumped off his temporary platform and joined Kirby on the small one he was standing on. They began trading shots until a starman landed on Kirby and granted him invincibility. Kirby began punching Mario rapidly before kicking him to the left area with all his might. Mario went flying towards the ledge and used Spin Attack to stop his descent and stay on the stage. To his luck he saw a hammer and picked it up and began swinging it. Kirby ran towards him in bravery since he had the star, but it wore it right when he reached Mario and he was struck with the hammer. Kirby was launched into the air and so he quickly turned into a rock using Stone and crashed into Mario. The rock attack went through the hammer and knocked Mario off the stage. Mario was KO'd rather quickly since he was not able to use any of his special attacks due to the swinging of the hammer.

Kirby began dancing on the stage thanks to his lucky KO as he was now leading in the lives department. When Mario returned he began chasing after Kirby who was running away from him. He stopped at the right edge and started flying over the tower. Mario rolled back and jumped into the air and tossed a dropkick out and connected with Kirby. Kirby was launched back, but quickly utilized Final Cutter to remain on the stage. He rolled past Mario and began flying to the left edge and called for help from Fox. Mario grabbed the nearby capsule and tossed it down to reveal a Homerun Bat and picked it up before going after Kirby. Mario then realized Fox was in the match and started backing up. Kirby jumped over him and sandwiched Mario between the two of them. Mario shrugged his shoulders and tossed the bat at Fox. Fox turned on his Reflector and sent the bat flying back at Mario. Mario jumped over it and the weapon hit Kirby in the face and launched him off the stage. Mario then ran towards Fox and dove at his feet to give him a baseball slide which knocked him off the stage as well.

Kirby returned to the stage and looked incredibly pissed at what happened. He snuck behind Mario and kicked him off the stage. Kirby began flying towards him and executed his Inhale move and placed Mario's body inside his mouth. Kirby began falling off the stage and spat him out before flying back up to the ledge. Mario executed Super Jump Punch underneath Kirby and gave him an added boost back onto the stage. Both had to quickly move away from the tornado that returned and began stalking the main platform. Mario jumped onto the bottom platform and made his way to the top. Kirby followed him and attempted to kick him from underneath, but Mario crouched down and moved to the middle one. Kirby jumped over to the side and made his way to the right. Mario followed him and tried to give Kirby another dropkick off the stage, but he missed and was open for attack. Kirby kicked him into the wall and pinned him to it using a series of rapid punches. Kirby attempted a finishing blow, but Mario rolled behind him and grabbed him. Mario then spun him around in a circle and launched him off the stage. Mario saw him flying back and so he jumped off the ledge and performed Super Jump Punch away from the stage in hopes of knocking Kirby further back. It was a gamble that paid off because he made contact with his opponent and pushed him out of sight of the camera and earned the final KO!

Winner: And NEW NGP Champion - Mario

Mario landed out-of-bounds himself, but it was after Kirby was already eliminated. Mario climbed back up on the stage and was awarded with the championship cup. He began jumping up and down with it in his hands before climbing to the highest point on the stage and holding the gold over his head. The fans began tossing streamers at him to show their appreciation for his efforts in winning the tournament. The camera shifted to the commentary booth, specifically Bowser, who was grinning.

Misty: Despite losing a few lives early on, Mario does it and wins the title. He took a risk at the end, but it paid off for him!

King Boo: Poor Kirby. I think Fox cost him the match, he was doing good until he showed up.

Misty: You can't be happy about this sir.

Bowser: It works out in the end little lady. Mario is now MY champion. That means he has to take part in any match I see fit. Well, he had no choice before but being the champion means he's expected to be in title defenses. More or less it's an excuse to print his death warrant. While it would be fun to watch him struggle, I can't have him holding that thing for long. Next week, he's going to defend the belt in a triple threat match. Kirby is getting a rematch for the title, but this time Fox will be an official participant!

The camera returned to the stage where Mario was staring down Bowser with the cup in his hands to close the show.

A montage was aired to start All-Stars that featured highlights from the 'Best of the Best' tournament. The closing moments of the Finals were shown in their entirety with Mario being declared the winner. The music faded out and Bowser's statement during the post-match celebration from the commentary booth is heard where he said that the title would be put on the line against Fox and Kirby the following week. The new stage was shown hovering above the audience, but it was anything but a stage the fans had been accustomed to. Instead it was Fox's ship, the Great Fox. And while it lacked safety platforms, it did feature several Arwings that began shooting lasers!

King Boo: Welcome to the third episode of Koopa All-Stars. I am the Internet's Favorite Son, King Boo, and it looks like I'll be going solo tonight because Misty is not here. Apparently she thought it would be okay to no-show today. I dunno, maybe somebody stole her bike again. And although I could easily handle the booth alone, we are going to feature random guests to commentate the matches. And who knows, if things are a hit Misty might have to go back into training Pokemans.

Mario's theme song played over the arena speakers as he made his way out towards the stage. He was holding the NGP Championship Cup in one hand and raised it over his head for all the people to see. He jumped onto the Great Fox and grabbed a microphone.

King Boo: Looks like the match started a little early. In our main event tonight, Mario defends the cup against both Fox and Kirby. Personal feelings aside, how is he going to be able to defeat both of them at the same time? That'll teach him to take on all challengers, not that he had a choice!

King Boo: Joining me at the booth is the man who may very well win the title tonight, Fox McCloud!

Fox: Ugh... is there a bike under the table?

King Boo: What? A bike, you say? Goddamned kids.

Samus made her way out from the backstage area and headed towards the stage for her match.

King Boo: Here comes Samus. You probably can't tell with her suit on, but hubba hubba. I mean, am I right?

Yoshi came out next to the roar of the crowd. He grabbed a fan's sign and showed it to the camera before climbing onto the stage.

Fox: God I hate this guy. I kinda wish I was in this match just so I could beat his ass.

King Boo: You said it. What a dork! I notice this is your neck of the woods. Does that mean you can buzz one of those things to shoot Yoshi?

SINGLES BOUT
SAMUS VS. YOSHI

Samus began the match by running towards Yoshi and tossing a shoulderblock out. Yoshi jumped over her and kicked her in the back. When Yoshi landed on the ground behind her he crouched down and swatted at her with his tail. Samus rolled near the upper ledge of the Great Fox and dropped down to the lower right area. As she was down there she began charging her arm cannon. Yoshi grabbed an egg and ran towards Samus. She jumped into the air and executed her Charge Shot on Yoshi. He was hit in the head and launched across the stage all the way to left edge. She began charging another round as Yoshi struggled to pull himself up. Samus began running at Yoshi before she was shot in the back several times by a stray Arwing. The lasers launched her off the stage without much effort.

Yoshi ran towards the center of the stage to grab whatever was in the egg he dropped after Samus shot him and to his luck it was a Maxim Tomato. However, Samus jumped over Yoshi's body and stomped him into the ground before he could eat it. Yoshi bounced helplessly into the air and Samus connected with a back-heel kick and launched him off the stage. Samus ate the recovery item even though she had little use for it. When Yoshi came back on the stage Samus ran away and jumped on the wandering Arwing. She started charging her gun again, but the spaceship zoomed off screen with her still on it!

Samus returned to the match with one life remaining and she was pissed at her quick KO. Yoshi ran towards her and attempted to give her a running head-butt, but Samus jumped over him and turned into a ball and hit Yoshi with one of her Bombs. It merely stunned Yoshi, but it was enough for Samus to hit him with a punch from her cannon after she landed on the ground. She ran after Yoshi as he went flying towards the edge of the stage and executed the shoulderblock she attempted at the start of the match. Samus jumped off the stage after Yoshi and attempted to give him a flying kick to finish him off, but he countered by head-butting Samus straight down. Since she was off the stage she was KO'd rather efficiently. Yoshi was also KO'd a second later, although it had zero effect on the match outcome.

Winner: Yoshi

King Boo: Yoshi beats Samus. I thought you were gonna have them shoot Yoshi. They killed Samus twice!

Fox: It's her own fault really. Why would you stand on top of a spaceship?

King Boo: Technically the whole stage is a spaceship...

Yoshi raised his arms in celebration of his victory when he was suddenly hit from behind by Jigglypuff! The crowd hissed as the former SSB Champion made his presence felt by pulling out a magic marker and scribbling on Yoshi's head before jumping off the stage.

King Boo: I thought Kirby was pink.

Fox: That's not Kirby! I haven't seen this other guy in a while, but he's already made me a fan.

The camera moved backstage where Pikachu was lying inside his locker room when Link suddenly barged in.

Link: This is all your fault! They got me scheduled to face you. Do you know how hard it is to impress the ladies? They apparently don't like it when one of the "cute" guys gets beat. They were booing me last week because I eliminated Yoshi. But I'm not gonna let that stop me from doing the same to you. You're next, so get ready!

Link then stormed out as the camera showed a snot bubble come out of Pikachu's nose as he was sleeping the whole time.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

King Boo: Please join me in welcoming the current NGP Champion, Mario. But for how long? Ha ha ha!

Mario: Oh, I'm in it for the long haul.

King Boo: So you say. Before we get to the next match let's take it to Rosalina who is getting word with Jigglypuff.

Rosalina was standing in front of Jigglypuff's lockeroom with a mic in her hand.

Rosalina: Ladies and gentlemen, as you just saw a few moments ago... Jigglypuff attacked Yoshi after his match. The question is why?

Jigglypuff: Why you say? It's simple... because I felt like it. It's nothing personal, but I was going to attack whoever won that match. To prove my dominance? To show that I am better then them? Not even close. I did it because I enjoy it. I get pleasure out of hurting and embarassing others. I have a match tonight and whoever I'm facing can expect a little of the same. Now get outta here while I warm up.

Rosalina: Well, there you have it. Jigglypuff has arrived and he's quite disturbed.

Link's music played as he stepped out through the entrance curtain. He walked over to a young lady and stuck out his cheek and asked her for a kiss. The man next to her moved her away and kissed him on the cheek to Link's displeasure. He kicked at the railing and pie-faced the guy away before climbing up for his match.

King Boo: Stupid guy. He's lucky Link didn't drag him over the barricade and show him what's what.

Mario: Link wanted a kiss and he got it.

King Boo: Not from some dude though. Probably the only time he's ever kissed someone too.

Mario: I'm sure Link's Mom has kissed him before.

King Boo: I'm talking about that idiot fan. Link probably gets more action in a night then anyone in this arena gets in a lifetime!

Pikachu walked out next and stopped at the edge of the ramp to wipe his eyes as he was just finishing up a nap. He walked over to "Link's Girl" and she gave him a kiss which woke him up.

King Boo: What the hell?

Mario: Looks like Pikachu is a lady killer.

King Boo: Maybe so, but Link is gonna be the Pokeman Killer.

SINGLES BOUT

LINK VS. PIKACHU

Link grabbed his Boomerang and tossed it out at Pikachu before running forward. Pikachu jumped over the weapon, but was met with the edge of Link's sword. Pikachu was launched backwards, but he managed to land on an Arwing. He jumped off the ship as it performed a barrelroll and headed back towards Link. Link grabbed a Pokeball and tossed it at Pikachu. Pikachu jumped over it and head-butted Link. The Pokeball released a Hitmonlee. The Pokemon looked at Pikachu and gave him a roundhouse kick. The force of the kick was enough to knock him off the stage. Link celebrated prematurely as the Arwing shot him in the gut and knocked him off the stage. Link was lucky in that he managed to grab the edge of the stage. Pikachu jumped towards Link and crouched down and hit him with his tail and knocked him away from the ledge. Link attempted his Spin Attack to recover, but he was unsuccessful.

Link returned to the stage and tried to slice Pikachu with his sword, but he rolled backwards. Link jumped over Pikachu and attempted to stab him in the head, but he once again rolled out of the way. With Link stunned Pikachu uppercutted him with his tail and called Thunder from the sky and hit Link with a bolt of lightning. Link crash-landed on the Arwing and as it zoomed away he jumped off it and back on the stage. Pikachu ran towards him and attempted to head-butt him off the stage, but Link rolled backwards and grabbed him with his hookshot. He kicked Pikachu away and followed him towards the edge. On his way he noticed a hammer and picked it up and began swinging it. Pikachu chose to just take a dive instead of being hit with the weapon.

Pikachu returned from his final life and kicked Link in the head as he swung the hammer and he was knocked off the stage. Because he was still swinging it his hands were not free to grab the ledge and so he was KO'd. Pikachu stood at the edge and awaited Link's return. Link jumped off his platform and attempted to take Pikachu's head off with his sword. Pikachu blocked the attack with his shield bubble and grabbed a hold of Link and tossed him off the stage. Link grabbed onto the stage ledge and rolled back on to save himself. Pikachu tried to hit him with a jolt of electricity from his mouth, but Link rolled to the side and performed the Spin Attack to knock Pikachu flying off the stage. He attempted to double-jump using Quick Attack, but sadly Link knocked him too far away from the edge and he missed his recovery.

Winner: Link

Link jumped off the stage and started heading towards the back. He glared at the girl from the audience and taunted her, saying she had her chance to get with a winner.

King Boo: Yeah! And you can quote me on this: any match that features a hammer is an instant four star match.

Mario: Link seemed really intense and wanted nothing more then to beat Pikachu. Looks like the kiss fired him up.

King Boo: Better watch out, Link might be the next in line to challenge for the title. He's won two matches in a row. That's the start of an epic winning streak. That is if you retain tonight...

Mario: I don't plan on losing, but it'll be a heck of a challenge for me.

King Boo: Good luck there Mario. You're definitely gonna need it.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Koopa All-Stars returns from the break as Bowser is walking around backstage. Rosalina approached him for a question.

Rosalina: Koopa, sir. A lot of people are confused at your actions as of late. Kirby made it to the finals and lost a hard-fought match and is getting another shot, but Fox has lost every match he's been in. Why should he get a title shot?

Bowser: Because I want the title off of Mario. He's just lucky I didn't make him defend against the entire roster with a 100,000 coin bounty to the man who KO's him. People seem to forget that I own this company and things happen because I want them too. Stay off "the list" and you won't have to worry about these things. Of course if you guys don't defeat Mario one way or another, consider yourselves on notice.

King Boo: I'm being joined by the only female combatant in All-Stars, Samus Aran. Welcome Samus. Bowser is just a great guy, I'm sure his Grandfather would be proud. Did you know Bowser's Grandfather participated in the Great War of Mushroom Kingdom?

Samus: It was a great war, wasn't it?

King Boo: Now that you mention it, it was one of the better ones I'd have to say.

Donkey Kong walked out from the back and headed towards the stage for his upcoming match against Jigglypuff.

King Boo: DK's first loss occurred last week against Mario. You've done battle with this guy before, haven't you?

Samus: I fought him at our first show! Don't you pay attention? He's tough, I'll give him that. A lot of people underestimate him because of his size. He's actually really quick and agile.

King Boo: I guess it slipped my mind. Sheesh, win a friggin' match before you get an ego.

Samus: You want me to hit you or something?

King Boo: Or something.

The camera moved backstage where Jigglypuff was running away from Yoshi. He eventually caught up with him and mounted him before unloading a series of punches. Yoshi stepped off of Jigglypuff who was smiling about the whole thing.

King Boo: I guess the match isn't happening.

Samus: Guess so. Jigglypuff is a sick freak. But next time, attack Yoshi during the match. I wouldn't mind.

King Boo: That's what I'm talking about. The girl who usually sits here is always droning on about respect and honor. I don't believe in that sorta thing.

Samus: You know what though? Yoshi chose to stop attacking Jigglypuff after he made his point. Nobody broke it up.

King Boo: I don't think Bowser has any security working here. And I doubt he'd seperate you if you and someone were going at it. That's our boss, nothing but second-best for his workers! Coming up next is the much-anticipated title bout between Mario, Kirby and Fox. So don't go anywhere, just tell your Mom to refill your juice box.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

King Boo: Saddle up partner, it's time for the main event.

Link: Am I getting paid double for this?

King Boo: Are you even getting paid for your match?

Link: I won it, didn't I?

Kirby and Fox came out first as a unit to the sound of their "Live to Win" tag team theme song. Kirby jumped on the barricade and posed for the crowd and kicked at any hands that reached out to touch him. Fox jumped on the stage and randomly shot his blaster in the air.

King Boo: Out first is the challengers.

Link: People were suggesting that they were gonna double-team Mario. I think the fact that they came out together confirms it. Not that I would have to partner with somebody, but it's a wise decision.

King Boo: True dat, but what if they eliminate Mario rather quickly? Mano y mano?

Link: From what I've seen, Fox is basically Kirby's bitch. Certainly he'd take the fall.

King Boo: You'd better hope he didn't hear you. I didn't say it Fox!

Link: I ain't scared of him. I'll shove the Master Sword right up his ass and then go home with his girl, Krystal.

King Boo: We gotta get you at the booth more often.

Mario stepped out through the curtain next with the NGP Championship in his hand and a Beam Sword in the other. He began walking towards the stage as Kirby started complaining about the weapon.

King Boo: I think that sword should be illegal. It's not sanctioned in the match.

Link: Didn't Kirby start out his match last week with Fox's powers? Anyways who cares... It's not like he pulled the sword from the Temple of Time.

THREE-WAY DANCE
MARIO (C) VS. KIRBY VS. FOX

Mario ran towards his opponents to start out and dove into the base of the stage. As he did he extended the sword out and attempted to slice at Kirby. Kirby jumped back and rolled away to avoid it. Mario turned around and tossed the sword at Fox. Fox quickly turned on his Reflector to block the sword. It bounced off his beam and flew back towards Mario. Mario, however, jumped over it and the sword hit Kirby in the face and launched him off the stage to the right. The attack was not enough to KO him as he was able to recover. Fox grabbed Mario after he blocked the sword and monkey-flipped him to the left. He then ran towards the edge of the stage and attempted to kick near the nose of the Great Fox to stop Mario from recovering. Mario used Super Jump Punch and uppercutted Fox in a barrage of coins onto a flying Arwing. Fox began unleashing his "Chun-Li" kicks and held Mario in place as the ship flew off the screen, taking them with it!

Mario returned and jumped off his platform and picked up a Fire Flower. He saw Kirby hiding near the back-edge of the Great Fox and ran towards him with the flower burning. He caught Kirby as he tried to fall down towards the back engine and unleashed the flames. Fox snuck behind Mario and crouched down before assaulting him with a strong kick to the back of the head. The attack launched him into the air and caused him to drop the flower. Fox saw Kirby woozy from the flame and decided to toss the Fire Flower at him and launch him off the stage. Fox's celebration was premature as Mario landed on top of him. He grabbed him and tossed him to the side before shooting him with a Fireball. Mario pulled his arm back and looked to finish him off with a punch before Kirby returned and shoved him aside and got in Fox's face.

Kirby started yelling at him and Fox explained that the match was every man for himself. Mario grabbed a Motion-Sensor Bomb and tossed it at Kirby's back. It bounced off him and landed a few inches away. Kirby turned around and started running towards Mario when he triggered the bomb. The explosion launched him to the left and he knocked Fox off the stage as well. Mario ran towards the edge to meet them with a baseball slide to the edge and prevented them from reaching the ledge. Fox quickly jumped off his platform and ran towards Mario. He tried kicking him off the ledge, but Mario rolled behind him and grabbed him. He looked to set up a throw off the stage, but Kirby interrupted by kicking Mario in the back. Kirby performed Final Cutter near the edge to launch a beam from his sword and knock both Fox and Mario off the stage. Fox performed Fire Fox to set off his rocketpack and launch himself towards the stage. Mario tilted his body around and drilled him in the head to knock him down below and eliminated him from the match.

Mario then jumped forward and grabbed the ledge. Kirby tried to kick his hands, but Mario shoved him back and climbed back up. They both had one life remaining for a brief rematch from the finals. Kirby shook his arms and told Mario to bring it, but started running away when he did. Before he could get far the Arwing returned and started shooting him. The lasers went through Kirby and also hit Mario, sending both fighters flying back. They jumped on the Arwing and started trading shots as it flew off the stage slowly. It eventually performed a barrelroll and they fell off. Kirby attempted to drill Mario down to the depths, but he countered with a Super Jump Punch and uppercutted Kirby back onto the stage. They crashed in the center of the stage as a Pokeball was seen at the left edge. Both ran towards it, but Kirby once again called forth his Final Cutter and shoved Mario past the item. Kirby picked it up and tossed it on the ground. A Mew came out and flew around the stage before dashing away. Kirby sucked in Mario using Inhale and stole his power after the Pokemon left without affecting the match. Kirby shot Mario with a Fireball to stun him before kicking him in the face and launching him off the stage. Mario worked his way back and fell above Kirby's location. Kirby crouched down and attempted to strike Mario with a stiff kick. Mario countered his fall by using Spin Attack on Kirby's head to drill him. After the move completed Kirby was launched into the air slightly. Mario then tilted his head back and struck Kirby with a massive head-butt and eliminated him from the match.

Winner: And STILL NGP Champion - Mario

King Boo: Kirby, no! Mario retains the gold.

Link: Looks like their true colors came out here. Kirby was mad about it, but he didn't hesitate to attack Fox when he had the chance.

Fox and Kirby returned to the stage and engaged in a shoving match. They then turned to look at Mario and went to attack him. They sandwiched him between their kicks and punches until the crowd rose to their feet as Luigi ran down from the backstage area and jumped on the stage. He pulled Kirby away from his brother and tossed him off the stage. Fox tried shooting him with his blaster, but Luigi ducked the attack and rolled towards Fox and judo-chopped him in the head before breakdance-kicking him off the stage. Luigi then helped his brother to his feet and raised his arm into the air.

King Boo: Before Luigi showed up they had Mario at their mercy. Why couldn't they do that during the match?

Link: Whatever the case may be, it looks like Mario goes home with the cup. He's a marked man now because it's only going to get tougher from here. It's easy to win the title. The hard part is retaining it.

King Boo: Wasn't your championship reign only a day?

Link: But I was also the first, which is way more historic than longest.

King Boo: I'd hate to be Fox and Kirby about now. Bowser has to be pissed. Be sure to tune in next week for more Koopa All-Stars. Don't bother setting your Tivo. It's Saturday Night... it's not like you're going anywhere!

The new stage was showcased to start Koopa All-Stars. It featured several skyscrapers with two elevators at the left side moving up and down between the buildings. The middle building also featured a doorway, which would suggest Pokemon were inside given the location. As the camera zoomed in on the doorway an explosion was heard at the entrance way as Bowser was making his way out to the stage.

Bowser: Yes, yes. Now what would you like for your second wish?

The crowd began booing Bowser for his arrogant comment.

Bowser: Last week... well, I suppose video footage would do it justice.

A video was shown of Luigi saving Mario from a 2-on-1 beatdown from Fox and Kirby.

Bowser: I'm sure some were surprised to see Luigi. I wasn't. Nobody comes into All-Stars without my knowledge. You see when I bought SSB from Peach, I also bought the rights to everyone who ever worked there and had a try-out match. There isn't a soul in the video game world that I don't currently own. I literally have a monopoly on the market. If say Princess Daisy wanted to run her own promotion, Zelda could not compete in it. I own the rights to Zelda. That includes her name, appearance and any special attacks she used. In that case Daisy would have to pay me a hefty sum to buy the rights to the Zelda name. So, no, Luigi did not debut out of nowhere. He works for me. Most companies would probably book a cliche match between the two teams, but I'm not. Mario and Luigi versus Fox and Kirby? Not gonna happen.

The crowd once again showed their disapproval of his announcement.

Bowser: No, instead we are going to work on who will challenge Mario next for the title. Tonight I have selected eight individuals who will do battle. Next week the winners of those matches will face off in a Free-For-All. Whoever wins that match will face Mario for the title later in the evening. You're probably wondering why I would make the next contender work for it, while Mario gets to take a breather. Wrong! As I said, there will be no team match. Mario and Luigi won't be working together. Instead Mario and Luigi will do battle in one of the four matches!

A hushed silence came out of the crowd as they were unsure how to react.

Bowser: This creates an interesting dilemma for Luigi. I'm sure he cares for Mario, but he's gotta want a shot at the title. I doubt he signed my contract to be a second-stringer. Here's where it gets interesting. If Luigi wins, he moves onto the Free-For-All. If Mario wins though, the Free-For-All becomes the title match. If Mario takes his first loss, his self-esteem may go down the toilet. Losing the first match means you'll lose the second match mentally. And if you are successful in your match, the title match becomes that much more diffcult! Oh and my buds, Fox and Kirby, don't think I've forgotten about you. Like the Mario Bros., you'll do battle with each other. By the way, did I mention that match is next?

Bowser's Clown Copter flew over the stage as he jumped inside and left the area.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Misty: Welcome to Koopa All-Stars. As we just heard from Bowser himself, we are hosting a mini-tournament of sorts. Whoever wins tonight is going to have to earn their title shot next week in another match.

King Boo: You say it, like it's a bad thing. I know you were upset with Bowser giving Fox a title shot for no reason, so there should be no complaints about whoever challenges next. Whoever does will certainly have earned it. By the way, nice of ya to show up this week.

Misty: It's not my fault, somebody stole my bike. Luckily for me Bowser didn't fire me.

King Boo: Pfft, lock it up next time.

Misty: I did!

Kirby stepped through the curtain first and began making his way towards the stage.

Misty: Here comes Kirby. He has actually been main eventing every show until now. For once he has to earn his spot.

King Boo: Oh, he'll be main eventing in no time. That's what the champ does.

Kirby and Fox's shared theme song continued playing as the second-half of their unit, Fox, made his entrance. Fox began walking towards the stage as a little kid started yelling at him. Fox turned his head to the side and then flipped his hand up and knocked the kid's baseball cap off his head before jumping onto the stage.

Misty: That was uncalled for.

King Boo: Stupid punk got in his face.

Misty: This is going to be an interesting match. Not just because they're partners, but because these guys aren't exactly fan favorites here.

King Boo: Yeah, I know. I can't choose who is more awesome. Maybe they can tie and get an instant rematch with Mario.

SINGLES BOUT
KIRBY VS. FOX

Both fighters started out on the large central building. Fox jumped back and landed on the roof behind him. Kirby charged forward when a Porygon popped out of the Door and rammed into him. Kirby went flying backwards and so Fox began shooting him with his Blaster. He stopped to pick up a Red Shell that appeared by his feet. As he did Kirby landed on the outer elevator as it lowered down. Fox jumped off the roof and headed towards Kirby. Kirby moved onto the small building between the elevators and crouched down. Fox appeared over him and tossed the shell down. Kirby rolled to the side to avoid it, but it started scrolling across the roof of the building and bounced him into the air. Fox pointed his feet down and drilled Kirby back down into the shell. Kirby went flying into Fox again and knocked him back towards the main area. Fox bounced off the ground as Kirby ran into the Pokemon Doorway. Nothing came out, but Kirby received a kick in the back for his troubles anyway. He bounced off the building and flew out of sight of the camera.

The Doorway opened again and so Fox ran to the opposite end of the stage. The Pokemon turned out to be a Chansey and he released an Egg. Kirby returned to the stage in time to pick it up. He tossed it to the side and out popped a Bob-Omb. He tossed it at Fox as he was jumping towards him. Fox turned on his Reflector and bounced the bomb back into Kirby's face. Kirby went flying into the main building and bounced to the left near the elevators. Fox ran towards the edge and awaited Kirby as he began flying back. Kirby performed Final Cutter to jump into the air, but Fox hit him with a dropkick as he reached the platform and KO'd him for the second time!

When Kirby returned Fox jumped to the right tower to avoid any attacks. Kirby stood on the roof above the Doorway and performed Final Cutter. As he landed in place he sent a beam flying towards Fox. It hit him in the head and knocked him off the building. Kirby jumped to where Fox was previously standing and awaited him to return. Fox tried loading Fire Fox, but Kirby kicked him in the head and scored his first KO. Fox came back and chased Kirby around the stage until they were on the central building. The Doorway opened once again and a Charmander came out. Kirby jumped and began floating in the air to avoid it. It didn't spew fire, but that did not stop Fox from shoving Kirby into it and causing him to fly off the stage. Kirby attempted to fly back but he did not reach the ledge and was KO'd for the third time.

Winner: Fox

Misty: Fox gains the first spot. Boy, he sure took care of Kirby.

King Boo: There was a lot of talk backstage about Fox's role. I think Link even called him "Kirby's Bitch" during commentary, so he may have been putting those rumors to rest.

Misty: Despite never winning a match until now, we could be looking at the next NGP Champion.

King Boo: Go away, sister, there's no more room on the bandwagon!

Fox raised his arm into the air and made a hand gesture to say he was drinking something, clearly signaling the cup.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

All-Stars returned from the ad break with Jigglypuff making his way down to the stage.

Misty: Jigglypuff made his debut last week and did so with a statement to Yoshi by attacking him after his match.

King Boo: Yeah and Yoshi did the same, only before he had a chance to face his opponent.

Yoshi's music played next as he stepped through the curtain. As he headed towards the stage Jigglypuff stood near the edge and watched him intently.

Misty: Jigglypuff mentioned something along the lines of he gets off on inflicting pain and receiving it.

King Boo: Yeah, he's into that S&M stuff I think. Something you probably know all about.

Misty: What was that?

King Boo: I'm just saying. I don't judge. I can help you...

Misty: Get on your own side of the table, bucko.

JIGGLYPUFF VS. YOSHI

Jigglypuff stood in Yoshi's face with his tongue hanging out. Yoshi backed up as Jigglypuff followed him. The ball rang and so Yoshi shoved him away. Jigglypuff went towards the Doorway and a Charmander popped out. The Pokemon did not spit out fire, but Jigglypuff did start bouncing on its head. Yoshi jumped into the air above them and performed his Yoshi Bomb to sit down and land on top of them. Yoshi's attack knocked both Jigglypuff and the Pokemon flying off the stage. Jigglypuff began floating back towards the stage ala Kirby, but he was met with a Head-Butt from Yoshi who KO'd him. Jigglypuff returned to the match and jumped over Yoshi's head and drilled him in the head with his feet. Jigglypuff then began to Sing and put Yoshi to sleep using his soothing vocals. Jigglypuff then noticed a Beam Sword on the ground and picked it up. Rather then hit Yoshi with it, he instead chose to begin licking the dull side of the blade.

Yoshi shook his head as he woke up from his nap and saw as Jigglypuff was nuzzling the sword. He tilted his head back and struck him with a Skull Bash. The attack knocked him back and caused him to drop the sword. Yoshi picked it up as Jigglypuff laughed and told him to hit him. Yoshi was a little puzzled and tossed the sword at Jigglypuff. It struck him in the head and knocked him off the stage. Jigglypuff jumped off his platform after his KO and ran towards Yoshi. Yoshi attempted to hit him with a punch, but Jigglypuff blocked it and grabbed him. He tossed him into the air before jumping underneath him. Yoshi countered by flailing his legs and dancing on Jigglypuff's head as they both landed on the main stage. The Doorway opened yet again and an Electrode popped out. Yoshi tried to run to the other end of the stage near the elevators when Jigglypuff grabbed him and held him in front of the Pokemon as he began laughing manically. After a few seconds the Pokemon exploded and launched both fighters off the stage resulting in a Double-KO. The end result was Jigglypuff losing his final life and Yoshi losing his first.

Winner: Yoshi

Misty: What the hell was that?

King Boo: Jigglypuff is definitley... different.

Misty: He's a sicko. Did you see him licking the blade? And he asked Yoshi to hit him. What's wrong with him?

King Boo: Did you see his face when he was setting Yoshi up to be blown up? I think I'll give him your phone number.

Yoshi was walking to the backstage area, shaking a bit as he was visibly upset following his match. He turned around to see Jigglypuff standing on top of the stage and clapping. Yoshi then shook his head from side-to-side and went through the curtain to the back.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

The camera was inside of Fox and Kirby's locker room with Fox sitting on a chair. Kirby barged inside and slammed the door shut.

Kirby: What the hell was that?

Fox: Hmph.

Kirby: We're supposed to be a team here. You scratch my back and all that. We should have found a way to make it a tie. You hit me pretty hard. In case you forgot, it was I who challenged Mario for the title.

Fox: And I'm the reason you went as far as you did. I helped you in all your matches. Well, except the one tonight...

Kirby: Okay, fine. I'm not gonna help you win your match.

Fox: I don't think I even need it. You had your chance, now it's time for me to have a turn. Lemme show ya how it's done.

Fox then walked out of the room as the camera followed him into the hallway. As the scene changed Kirby's scream could be heard.

Misty: Looks like there's some dissension in the ranks. Fox looks confident in himself.

King Boo: He's got his work cut out. I personally wouldn't have totally run down the potential help from Kirby, but he won tonight without his help.

Link's theme song played over the speakers as he began walking down the ramp towards the stage. He walked over to a girl in the audience who happened to not be so appealing and pointed to his cheek. As she looked to kiss him he backed up and put his hand in her face before heading to the stage.

King Boo: Burn!

Misty: Oh my God, last week he was practically begging.

King Boo: He's not desperate. And he totally played that chick too.

Donkey Kong came out next and stood at the edge of the ramp and did his DK Country Boombox Dance before walking down to the stage. He signaled breaking a stick in half, referring to Link's body.

King Boo: Who does he think he is?

Misty: Donkey Kong. Nobody can really do anything about it, look at his frame.

King Boo: Link's got a sword, so he'd better watch out. You know what they say about monsters. The bigger they are?

Misty: The harder they hit?

King Boo: No! Well, I guess that's true.

SINGLES BOUT
LINK VS. DONKEY KONG

Link ran towards DK to start out, but Kong grabbed him as he charged at him and tossed him overhead. Link went flying towards the Doorway and performed a Spin Attack to jump above the Pokemon and land on the building on top of it. The Pokemon was a Venasaur and it unleashed Razor Leafs forward. The attack kept DK in place and so Link jumped over him and stabbed him in the head with his sword. DK went flying back and so Link jumped on the left elevator and performed a standing Spin Attack and sliced DK further back and KO'd him. DK returned and moved to the right tower and baited Link into coming after him. Link jumped over him again and tried the same move that had KO'd Kong, but this time DK rolled out of the way. He jumped overhead and stomped Link in the head. DK jumped on top of the Pokemon Doorway and back towards Link and kicked him in the back as he pulled himself up to his feet. The kick knocked Link away and resulted in his KO.

Link pulled out a Bomb from his pack and tossed it at DK. DK jumped over it easily, but he was helpless in the air as Link jumped towards him and sliced him his sword. DK went flying off the stage and performed Spinning Kong to return in a similar fashion to Link's move to grab the nearby ledge. Link stood near DK and crouched down before hitting him with his sword. As DK's grip loosened Link pulled his sword back and struck him with a powerful swing and launched him flying away from the stage. Link did not notice that there was a Bob-Omb on the stage and it began walking towards him. Link did a backflip and landed on the platform behind him and avoided the bomb. He pointed to his head and told the crowd he was too smart for that. DK had returned from his second KO as Link showboated and tossed a Motion-Sensor Bomb at Link's back and caused him to fall forward into the Bob-Omb. It exploded on contact and launched him off the stage!

Link quickly returned to the battle and tossed out a Boomerang and hit DK in the gut. As he was hunched over Link pulled out his Hookshot and pulled him in. Link kicked him away and went running towards a nearby Heart Container. Unfortunately for Link the Motion-Sensor Bomb was between him and the recovery item and it blew up as he stepped on it. DK jumped into the air as Link went flying towards him and attempted to stomp his into the pit. Link performed another Spin Attack to narrowly avoid it and land on the elevator. DK began charging his DKO by winding up his fist after he missed the KO. Link pulled out his Boomerang again and tossed it at DK from afar. DK stopped winding up his fist and jumped back to avoid the weapon. Little did he know that an Electrode appeared out of the Doorway and exploded, resulting in DK being launched off the stage. Link's eyes darted towards DK as he flew off and then grew excited as he was declared the victor, almost unaware of it.

Winner: Link

King Boo: Ha ha Link wins!

Misty: Yeah of course... but the Pokemon helped out just a bit.

King Boo: Gotta have eyes in the back of your head. Besides Link would've poked the thing in the eye and been done with it. Link is gonna take this, count on it.

Misty: He is definitely on a roll, but he has to beat three other guys to do so.

King Boo: Link is undefeated in Free-For-Alls and that won't change next week.

Link walked backstage and as he did he saw Luigi standing with Rosalina. He glared at Luigi before walking off to celebrate. Rosalina got in position with her microphone when Link was out of the camera view and started talking.

Rosalina: Right now I am being joined by Luigi. Luigi, you are having your first match tonight with your brother. Clearly you wanna win, but aren't you mad to be going against him?

Luigi: Not really Rosalina. Mario is a competitor and I'm sure he wants to fight the best. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think we bring out the very best in each other. But really, beating Mario tonight will prove nothing. Beating him in a non-title match is great, but if I can't do it when the title is on the line then it's worthless.

Rosalina: Don't you think if you beat him here, or take the title from him that it'll strain your relationship?

Luigi: Mario and I have gone back and forth like this. But that's exactly what Bowser wants, isn't it? For us to be at each other's throats? If beating him or vice versa could break us apart then we would've been years ago. But make no mistake about it, I'm not going easy on him just because he's my brother. Last time we faced off he beat me, so I have to pay him back for that.

Rosalina: Well, ladies and gentlemen, Luigi is ready to take on Mario. Will he join Fox, Yoshi and Link for the contender's bout or will Mario defend against the aforementioned fighters next week? Tune in to find out because that match is our main event and it's next!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Luigi's music played over the speakers as he pushed his way through the curtain and began walking towards the stage. He climbed up and kicked his foot against the ground.

Misty: Here comes 1/2 of the Mario Bros.

King Boo: Heh, "Mario" Brothers? Luigi always get the shaft man.

Misty: Yeah, especially when you think about his arch nemesis.

King Boo: Yeah, the dude's probably a failure if he's trying to feud with the Forever Second Place. Hey, wait a minute!

Mario's music played next as he came out after Luigi. He held the NGP Championship over his head as he walked down the middle of the ramp towards his brother.

Misty: His opponent is the current champion. It's really lose-lose for Mario. If he wins, his championship match becomes much more difficult. If he loses, he may be weakening as a champion.

King Boo: If I was Mario I'd just jump off three times. Think about it. That puts Luigi in the contender match and Mario gets to take a breather while four guys kill each other. Then he takes the scraps with very little effort in tonight's main event. Who cares if he loses here? It's not for the title.

Misty: Mario is not like that. He wants to hold the cup with honor and respect.

King Boo: Maybe that's the problem.

SINGLES BOUT
LUIGI VS. MARIO

Mario jumped back and did a flip to distance himself from Luigi. He tossed out a few Fireballs before jumping onto the Doorway Roof. He continued to unleash his Fireballs and since they sink they followed Luigi to the edge. Luigi jumped back onto an elevator and unleashed his own set of Fireballs. Luigi's variety went straight and reached Mario on his elevated platform. Mario decided to try another plan and grabbed a Ray Gun and began shooting Luigi. He connected several times before jumping towards his brother and tossing the gun at his head. It bounced off his temple and knocked him flying off the stage. Mario walked towards the edge and awaited Luigi to jump towards him and so he struck him with a Breakdance Kick to eliminate him from the match. Luigi dropped off his platform and grabbed an Egg that was brought into the match by a Chansey. He tossed it at Mario, but he blocked it with his shield. The Egg produced a Star Rod, which both Mario Bros. ran to grab. Luigi grabbed it, but Mario kicked it out of his hands. When Mario went to pick it up Luigi performed a Spin Attack to knock Mario into the air. Luigi then grabbed the Star Rod and pulled it back and struck Mario with a beam as he fell towards him.

As Mario was KO'd a Charmander popped out of the Doorway and began shooting fire from its mouth. Luigi attempted to jump over it, but Mario kicked him into the ember as he returned from his KO. Mario ran towards Luigi as he was restrained by the fire and baseball slid into his legs to knock him off the stage. Mario then jumped onto the right tower and awaited Luigi's return. He attempted his Breakdance Kick again, but Luigi avoided it with his Super Jump Punch. Luigi then grabbed Mario from behind and tossed him off the stage. Luigi saw Mario attempting to recover and so he jumped at his brother and performed his Super Jump Punch, but this time a SCREEECH(~!) was heard as he unleashed a Firey Uppercut on his brother and TKO'd him from the match. Unfortunately Luigi was also eliminated himself as he helplessly fell in the opposite direction of the tower he was previously standing on.

Mario and Luigi dropped off their platforms and returned to the center of the stage. Mario slapped him across the face and jumped back. Luigi felt his cheek and rather then chase after his brother he looked around the stage for a weapon. He grabbed a Beam Sword and swung it in place. Mario shot him with a Fireball, but he missed. Luigi tossed the sword into the air and rolled away. Mario ran after him, but the sword fell on his head and knocked him for a loop. Luigi ran towards the Doorway and and dropped to one knee. Mario stomped his feet on the ground before running at Luigi with the intent of baseball sliding into him. Luigi extended his palm forward and yelled "STOP!" to Mario. Mario stopped in place and looked puzzled. Suddenly Luigi struck him with a massive Head-Butt and KO'd his brother in a sneak attack.

Winner: Luigi

Misty: Luigi wins with the Stop Sign Head-Butt!

King Boo: I'm not Mario's biggest fan, but he doesn't actually have to stop does he?

Misty: I don't think so, but it doesn't really matter. Luigi advances to the Free-For-All and will battle Fox, Yoshi and Link next week for a shot at Mario. With his victory over the current NGP Champion he has to be a favorite going in.

King Boo: Bowser is a smart guy. Defeating the champion should give you an automatic title match, but with circumstances the way they are...

Misty: He has the momentum going in. Luigi is the only one with a victory over Mario. But will it carry over to the title?

King Boo: Find out next time on Koopa Ball Z.

Luigi began walking to the back as Mario climbed back up on the stage. Luigi stopped at the curtain and turned around and looked at his brother. Mario looked at the NGP Cup and clutched it tightly as the camera faded to black to close the episode.

The Koopa All-Stars Intro played at the start of the show with the scenes of fists hitting faces and blood splattering across the screen before it faded to the new stage where the swaying, smiling Heart in the center was shown. The camera view expanded out and showcased the entire stage. It featured numerous platforms with clouds on either side of the main area.

Misty: Welcome to episode number five of Koopa All-Stars. We are coming to you live from the peaceful area known as Yoshi's Island.

King Boo: I know everyone's already thinking this, but this stage... it's pretty frickin' gay.

Misty: Language!

King Boo: I've said worse. 'Sides, it's not like we're PG or anything. Although they actually allow blood and some cursing under that rating.

Misty: Ignoring the oh-so-subtle comment, let's discuss tonight's theme. Four men do battle with one earning a shot at Mario's title.

King Boo: Mario faced his first hand of defeat last week, but he lucks out in he has time to rest unlike his would-be challengers!

Fox's theme song played over the speakers as he made his way out first. He ignored the fans, which consisted of varying colors of Yoshi and Shy Guys. As he jumped onto the stage the crowd erupted as Yoshi made his way down the aisle. Link came out next with a "WTF" look on his face when he saw that no actual human females were in attendance. Luigi made his entrance shortly thereafter and headed straight for the stage.

Misty: Yoshi is clearly the fan favorite, but that's to be expected.

King Boo: Yoshi, at least this one is green, so couldn't he pull a switch and no one would be the wiser?

Misty: It's not like there's DQ here.

King Boo: There's better be no tomfoolery involved in the finish and I'm not talking about my cousin Thomas!

FREE-FOR-ALL
FOX VS. YOSHI VS. LINK VS. LUIGI

Link looked to the side and then ran away. Yoshi followed him and chased him off the ledge. Link attempted to jump back towards him when Yoshi stuck out his tongue and ate him. He then spat him out and launched him away from the stage. Luigi and Fox were enaged in battle as Link was being assaulted by Yoshi. Luigi jumped to the top platform and stood away from Fox. Fox jumped to the left platform and then towards Luigi with a dropkick. Luigi rolled out of the way and caught Fox from behind before tossing him off the stage towards Link. Link performed a Spin Attack to jump towards the right-most cloud. As he did he hit Fox with his sword and sent him flying back towards the main stage. Yoshi and Luigi dodged Fox's flying body as it flew towards them, which resulted in his KO. Link bent over and patted his butt as he taunted the other fighters, but then the cloud disappeared and he struggled to jump towards the other cloud. Fox shot him upon returning with his Blaster to stop his jump and KO him out!

Luigi picked up a Bob-Omb and tossed it at Fox. Fox quickly turned on his Reflector and launched it back in his face. Luigi went flying to the left and landed on the cloud. He did not stand on it long and attempted to jump back towards the main stage when Yoshi jumped towards him and extended his foot out and hit him in the forehead. The force of the kick knocked Luigi back enough to KO him. After making contact with the cloud Yoshi turned around to make it back to the stage. As he jumped forward he was met with Fox who kicked him in the face and knocked him out similar to how he just eliminated Luigi. Fox jumped vertically into the air and shot random lasers from his Blaster to ensure nobody could jump towards him before returning to the center stage.

All four competitors stood on the top platform following their KO's and started battling. Link dropped down below and grabbed a Pokeball from the base of the stage. He tossed it above his head and it hit Luigi. Luigi was knocked to the side while Fox and Yoshi rolled away. A swarm of Beedrills popped out and started flying across the stage. Link jumped underneath Yoshi and stabbed him with his sword as the bees took care of Luigi and Fox. Fox tried to return to the stage using Fire Fox, but Link caught him with a Boomerang shot to knock him down below.

The three fighters returned to the stage and focused their attention on Link. He backed up towards the corner when he peeked over his shoulder and saw he was near the edge. Yoshi charged forward and tried to Head-Butt him off the stage, but Link rolled to the side. Luigi wound up his fist and tried to punch Link, but he rolled again to avoid it. Yoshi extended his tongue out via Egg Lay and turned Luigi into an Egg. The Egg was deposited off the stage and Luigi was helpless and KO'd for the final time. Link asked Fox to help him double-team Yoshi and he agreed before sucker-punching him in the head and knocking him off the stage. Fox ran towards Yoshi and struck him in the gut with a kick. He did a flip and "uppercutted" Yoshi with his foot and knocked on the top platform. Yoshi grabbed a Proximity Mine while he was up there and tossed it down past his feet when he jumped into the air. Fox jumped towards Yoshi with the intent of kicking him, but he instead kicked the bomb and blew up!

Link and Yoshi were the last ones remaining. Link ran to the right edge and baited Yoshi into chasing him off the stage. Link did a backflip back towards the stage after jumping off. Yoshi noticed it at the last second and was forced onto the right-most cloud. Yoshi tried to jump towards the other cloud when Link jumped underneath it and executed his Spin Attack to knock Yoshi back towards the cloud. The attack was enough to launch Yoshi past the cloud and KO him. Link also fell towards the out-of-bounds area, but he had only lost one life previously so he was not affected.

Winner: Link

Link returned to the stage and collapsed on his face due to exhaustion.

Misty: By hook or crook, Link has won the second Free-For-All.

King Boo: Not good. That was a pretty long and grueling match. How is he gonna compete again against a fresh Mario? Give him one of those Maxim Tomatos like you did for DK, Mario!

Misty: You really gotta hand it to him though. He used the numbers game to his advantage all the way to the end.

King Boo: Give credit? I told you Link was my choice all along.

Misty: You kicked me off the Fox bandwagon too.

King Boo: There's four people in the match. I can pick two.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

All-Stars returns from the break with the camera inside of Mario's locker room where he is sitting on a bench watching the live feed of the show. Luigi enters the room and begins kicking at the furniture in frustration.

Mario: Okey Dokey?

Luigi: I just lost the match. I really thought I had it, but the match was just too chaotic. I really wanted to prove myself in a title match.

Mario: You did beat me last week, so you always have a title shot waiting.

Luigi: That's assuming you defeat Link tonight.

Mario: Last week you showed me something and got my head on straight. I don't plan on losing tonight to him. Watch my stuff, will ya?

Luigi: Yeah, sure.

As Mario walked out Luigi noticed a Maxim Tomato sitting on the table. He walked over to it and stared at the door as it closed before eating the recovery item.

Misty: Welcome back to the show everyone. If you just joined us, you missed a heck of a match.

King Boo: And if you don't DVR the shows, you're screwed because Bowser is a Nazi about Copyright Infringement on the Big Bad Interwebs.

Kirby's theme song played over the arena speakers as he made his way down towards the stage with a big grin on his face.

Kirby: So last week Fox defeated me to get into the Free-For-All and he proceeded to tell me that he was going to win the title from Mario. Well, you sure showed me there Fox. Ha ha! I may have lost to Mario originally, but at least I earned my title match. The only reason Bowser put you in with me is because he thought we could've worked together to beat him. We would have too if you had just stuck to the plan. No matter because it's time to move on. I need an opponent for tonight because I'm not gonna be held back just because my partner is weak. The match last week was a fluke I tell ya. This week I challenge anyone in the back to a match.

Kirby waited near the edge of the stage as the crowd was hushed in anticipation for Kirby's would-be challenger. Donkey Kong's music played as he stepped through the curtain to accept.

Kirby: Whoa whoa whoa whoa. I don't think I can fight after all. I gotta call my Mom. It's her birthday man, come on!!!

Misty: Looks like Kirby has his hands full.

King Boo: This isn't fair. Get someone else to fight the big ape. Like maybe Mario!

Misty: Don't go away folks because that match will take place next.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

SINGLES BOUT
KIRBY VS. DONKEY KONG

Kirby stomped on DK's hand as he climbed onto the stage and began to punch him in a flurry of strikes from his arm. Kirby crouched down as the bell rang and kicked DK away before scurrying for a weapon. He picked up a Beam Sword and went back on the attack. DK was hanging onto the stage ledge as Kirby went charging with the sword only to be met with a flying shouldertackle when Kong pulled himself back on the stage. The attack caused him to drop the sword, which DK picked up and tossed it at him. Kirby was hit in the face and knocked off the stage. DK jumped towards him and tried to "volleyball spike" him using his hands, but Kirby desperately countered with the Final Cutter and spiked DK down to the depths.

DK and Kirby dropped off their platforms following their KOs and continued their match. Kirby jumped over DK's head and started drilling his feet into his skull. DK swatted Kirby onto the top platform before jumping up after him. Kirby rolled to the side when DK tried to slap him from below. When DK was in view Kirby ran towards him and kicked him off the stage. DK went flying towards the closest cloud on the right and landed on top. As DK jumped back towards the stage Kirby began flying in his direction and engulfed him using Inhale. Kirby began falling and spat DK out underneath the stage. DK quickly used Spinning Kong to twist his body in circles and smack Kirby towards the other cloud. DK crashed out-of-bounds as Kirby landed on the cloud. Kirby jumped into the air so it didn't disappear and did a few flips only for a Crate to fall on his head and knock him out-of-bounds.

Kirby jumped off his platform after DK was already in the match and swallowed him again using Inhale, only this time he Copied his ability. Kirby appeared in a brown jumpsuit and began winding up his fist. DK ran towards Kirby and grabbed him quickly before tossing him off the stage. Kirby landed on the nearby cloud and finished winding up his punch. DK rolled back and wound up his own version to counter it. Kirby grabbed a Capsule and tossed it at DK to distract him before jumping towards him and unleashing the Kirby KO. Unfortunately Kirby did not have the armspan of DK and he missed completely. The camera zoomed in on Kirby as his lips could clearly be read saying "oh fu-" as DK unleashed the official DKO on him. Kirby was launched across the screen and was KO'd without much effort to the surprise of no one.

Winner: Donkey Kong

Misty: Give Kirby credit, he hung with DK throughout the match. It was neck-and-neck for the most part.

King Boo: Poor Kirby. He was probably worried about his Mother. It's her birthday, ya know.

Misty: So he says.

King Boo: He's a good son. He's always calling her to see how she's doing. Especially when he needs money!

The camera shifted backstage where Pikachu was standing by with former SSB Champion, Ness, who was looking excited and doing squats.

Ness: I hope you're ready, good buddy. You and I get to compete in the very first Koopa All-Stars Team Match. I can't wait to fight whoever our opponents are. If we become full-time partners we need to come up with a name. My old partner and I were known as "PK Power", but I suppose we can use that name too.

Pikachu: Pika?

Ness: No, PK. Pee-Kay.

Pikachu: Pee-Kuh?

Ness: Okay, Pika Power. Sounds kinda lame, but whatever. So long as we win. Let's do this.

Ness and Pikachu then turned towards the camera and began making their way towards the entrance curtain.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

As All-Stars returned from the commercial break Ness and Pikachu were making their entrance to the sound of Pikachu's theme song. Ness walked down the middle as his partner, Pikachu, greeted the fans.

Misty: And making his Koopa debut, Ness!

King Boo: Is that supposed to impress me?

Samus and Jigglypuff came out next to the sound of Aran's theme. Jigglypuff remained behind her with a huge shit-eating grin on his face. When Samus turned around to look at her partner, Jigglypuff's smile turned into a super-serious frown.

Misty: And here comes the unlikely tandem of Jigglypuff and Samus.

King Boo: Jigglypuff could be the biggest darkhorse in the locker room. The problem is he likes to hurt himself as much as his opponents.

Misty: Yeah, because he's crazy.

King Boo: I thought you chicks liked the bad boys. Nothing says "bad ass" like a restraining order!

TEAM BOUT
NESS & PIKACHU VS. JIGGLYPUFF & SAMUS

Jigglypuff started out the match by charging towards his opponents and rolling into them both and knocking them off the stage. After doing so Jigglypuff turned to Samus and gave her a thumbs up as he shouted "Yeah!". Samus ignored him and began charging her Charge Shot. Pikachu held onto the ledge as his partner, Ness, used PK Thunder on himself to launch his body like a torpedo. Jigglypuff jumped over Ness as he flew towards Samus, who attempted to shoot him with her blaster, but he collided with her before she had a chance. The collision caused both fighters to tumble off the stage and KO one another. Jigglypuff picked up a Beam Sword and swung it at Pikachu. Pikachu jumped back and then kicked off the nearby platform to launch his body towards Jigglypuff. Pikachu pointed his head down and drilled into Jigglypuff before uppercutting him with his tail and knocking him onto the top platform. Pikachu called forth Thunder from the sky on Jigglypuff, but he moved out of the way. As he dodged the attack Ness had returned to the battle and mule-kicked him in the back to knock him off the stage.

Samus crouched down and moved underneath the top platform and chased after Pikachu. Pikachu grabbed a Capsule and tossed it towards the top platform as Samus ran towards him. Pikachu jumped away, but Samus performed a Screw Attack to turn into a ball and drill her body into Pikachu. Ness picked up the contents of the Capsule, a Fireflower, and caught Samus in the flames as she was recovering from her attack on his partner. Pikachu stood behind Ness in order to catch his breath as Samus was helpless to the damage inflicted on her. None of the other fighters realized Jigglypuff was standing on the platform below them with a Bob-Omb in his hand. He jumped onto the top platform and tossed the bomb near his feet to blow the entire party up. All four were launched into the air and subsequently KO'd!

All four jumped off their return platforms and engaged in combat on the top again. Samus crouched down below and jumped off a lower platform with her foot extended out and kicked both members of the other team. Pikachu rolled with the attack and landed on a cloud. Ness went flying past it only for Jigglypuff to start flying towards him. Ness landed on the right-most cloud with Jigglypuff following him there. Ness was on the cloud too long and it disappeared as Jigglypuff landed on it. Both fighters fell to their doom and left the match to their partners.

Samus picked up a Pokeball and tossed it at Pikachu. It hit him in the head and knocked him towards the left cloud. The Pokeball revealed a Hitmonlee who jumped towards Pikachu with a flying kick. Samus also went to kick Pikachu at the same time in case it missed. Pikachu quickly performed Quick Attack to double-jump from the cloud back onto the main stage to avoid both kicks. As Samus kicked off the cloud to return to the platform Pikachu was on, he did a backflip and kicked her in the head and spiked her down to the pit below.

Winners: Ness & Pikachu

The camera showed Ness carrying Pikachu over his shoulder towards the back. Pikachu's eyes were glazed over as a giant bruise was seen on his forehead.

Misty: Ness walks away with a victory on his debut, although the credit should probably go to his partner.

King Boo: Certainly was fire in his eyes and stars after that Pokeball smacked him in the friggin' head.

Misty: Coming up next is our main event. Mario is set to defend the NGP Championship against Link, who had a lengthy match to earn the shot earlier in the night.

King Boo: No way is he at 100%, but Link at less-then perfect is still better then anyone at their best. And that may include Mario!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

King Boo: It's main event time! Look at the crowd... definitely an atmosphere right now. Can you feel that?

Misty: Sure can, now get on your own side.

King Boo: Saving yourself for Link? Okay, makes sense.

Link's theme song played over the arena speakers as he stepped through the curtain where he flexed his biceps and shouted "Boom!" before running down towards the stage.

Misty: Here comes the challenger, Link. Link earned the right to face Mario by winning two huge matches the past few weeks. In fact, I think he only has one loss.

King Boo: He has definitely been on a roll. The only thing that concerns me is that he is probably a little tired from his earlier match.

Misty: Champion's advantage. If he wins tonight, he definitely earned it.

Mario's theme played next as he walked down the ramp. He held onto the cup and hopped down the aisle and slapped hands of the fans in attendance. Mario grabbed the ladder and climbed up half-way before kicking his way onto the central platform in grand fashion.

Misty: Here is our NGP Champion, Mario. He has definitley been a fighting champion and like Link, he has only suffered one loss.

King Boo: Luckily for him it was non-title!

Misty: I seem to recall you saying it's okay to throw out non-title victories.

King Boo: I said that's what I'd do. I'm a man of low moral-fiber!

Mario extended out his hand in good sportsmanship before the ball rang. Link stared at him for a minute before taking his hand out and sticking it inside his tunic and rubbing his genitals and offering it to Mario. Mario stepped back and kicked Link's hand back into his face. Link shocked the crowd by licking between his fingers, simulating something erotic.

Misty: Oh, that's disgusting.

King Boo: Heh.

NITRO GRAND PRIX TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES BOUT
MARIO (C) VS. LINK

Mario jumped into the air to start out and shot several Fireballs at Link. Link turned on his Shield Bubble to block the attacks and Mario used that opportunity to jump towards him and unleash a dropkick. Link rolled away from Mario and pulled out his Hookshot in an effort to grab him. The Hookshot pulled Mario in towards Link, where he kicked him off the stage. Mario did a backflip and landed on top of a cloud. Link jumped onto one of the platforms and tossed his Boomerang at Mario. Mario jumped over it, but it came back and hit him in the back of the head. Link jumped off his platform and swung his Master Sword forward and sliced Mario in the head as the cloud disappeared. Mario flew away from the cloud and was KO'd. Link quickly performed a Spin Attack to spin around and land back on the stage.

Mario returned to the battle and grabbed a Crate. He tossed it to the side as Link joined him on the base of the stage. He tried to stab Mario with his sword, but he instead hit the Crate. It exploded and knocked them both flying in opposite directions. Link landed far to the right on the second cloud and began making his way back when a Pokeball came flying towards him. Link stood on the cloud and caused it to disappear and the Pokemon fell down to the pit. Mario was waiting on the edge of the stage for Link and punched him in the head as he returned, resulting in his KO. Link jumped back on the stage and stalked Mario from behind. As Mario turned around Link crouched down and sliced him in the throat with his sword and sent him flying into the air towards the top platform. Link jumped towards him and stabbed him from underneath to send him flying even further into the air. Link stood on the top of the stage and awaited Mario to return. Link rolled to the side as Mario fell and performed the Spin Attack and knocked him flying off the stage for the second time. As Mario tried to jump towards a cloud Link tossed a Bomb at him to knock him away from it. Mario was then KO'd after missing the cloud.

Mario returned to the stage and noticed a Hammer. He and Link both ran towards the center to grab it. Link extended his sword forward and hit Mario to knock him back. As Mario rolled away Link grabbed the Hammer and began swinging it. Mario ran to the edge of the stage and awaited Link. Link chased him and so Mario jumped to the cloud at the left of the stage. Link jumped off the stage towards the cloud with his Hammer still swinging. Mario crouched down and dropped down below the cloud and performed Super Jump Punch to do a flying uppercut. He uppercutted Link at his feet, avoiding the Hammer, and knocked him off the cloud. Since Link was swinging the Hammer he was helpless to stop himself from dieing.

Link dropped down off his platform and ran to the right-most cloud and began jumping up and down so that the clould would remain intact. Mario picked up a Ray Gun and saw that he could easily shoot Link from afar, but dropped it and decided to take the fight to Link without the weapon. Mario stood on the other cloud and shot a Fireball at Link before jumping towards him on the cloud. Link rolled to avoid Mario, but Mr. Nintendo grabbed him from behind and looked to toss him off the cloud into the out-of-bounds area. The cloud disappeared and they both fell. Link executed the Spin Attack on Mario in hopes of knocking him towards the out-of-bounds before he fell to his doom, but Mario managed to performed his Tornado to spin in place and avoid Link's attack. Mario eventually executed his Super Jump Punch and landed on the adjacent cloud. As Mario recovered Link fell helplessly to his demise for the third time.

Winner: And STILL NGP Champion - Mario

Misty: Mario retains the title against Link despite the fact that he tried to hide on the cloud!

King Boo: Mario is lucky he is able to jump so high otherwise he would surely have lost the title.

Misty: He was called Jumpman for a reason.

King Boo: "He was called Jumpman for a reason."

Mario was handed the cup and he raised it over his head to celebrate another successful title defense. Bowser stepped through the curtain as Mario's music blared over the speakers. He began doing a sarcastic one-man applause for him before pointing to Mario, suggesting to look behind his back. Mario quickly turned around as he expected someone to attack him, but nobody was there. Bowser then walked through the curtain as Mario kept looking over his shoulder before the screen faded to black.

The camera showed a yellow pool of acid covering the venue and as the opening theme finished playing, it lowered and revealed the new battle stage. It featured three basic platforms and an elevator on the right-hand side. The acid then rose to the top as Ridley flew towards the camera and the screen faded to black.

Misty: Welcome to another episode of Koopa All-Stars.

King Boo: This week is going to be interesting. This stage, I definitley like. Liquid Hot Magma!

Misty: Tonight we are having a special main event. The crowd was so impressed with Ness and Pikachu last week that they are going to do battle with the Mario Bros.

King Boo: Yes, the tag team for life. Mario gets off lucky this week since his title isn't on the line. Hopefully he gets injured!

Misty: That's kinda mean to say.

King Boo: No, saying I hope he dies out there is mean. I merely suggested I would be enthusiastic had he suffered minor harm and discomfort!

DK's music played over the arena speakers as he made his entrance. He climbed onto the stage and posed for the crowd, which consisted of different alien species.

Misty: DK is hoping to work his way into title contention by adding up victories.

King Boo: Last week he defeated Kirby and this week he's going to face Fox.

Fox came out next to a less-than receptive crowd.

Misty: Fox was unsuccessful in his quest for a shot at the title. Certainly a win over DK would put him up there in the hunt.

SINGLES BOUT
DONKEY KONG VS. FOX

Fox rolled back and started unleashing several shots from his Blaster on DK from the other end of the stage. DK blocked them with his Shield Bubble and then jumped onto a higher platform. Fox ran down the central area and jumped underneath DK to kick him into the air. Fox kicked off the platform and went to kick DK in the back. After connecting Fox began charging Fire Fox and set his sights on Dive-Bombing Kong. DK rolled away to avoid it and picked up Fox as he landed on the platform. He slammed him into the canvas and then tossed him off the stage. Before Fox could attempt to return the acid rose and touched his body. Fox was launched into the air and out of sight of the camera.

Fox jumped off his platform and went back to attack DK. He grabbed him from behind and tossed him backwards off the stage. DK began going in a circle via Spinning Kong to return to the stage. The acid covered the bottom platform and knocked both fighters flying into the air and they landed on the top platform. The acid was covering every inch of the stage but that platform at this point. Fox crouched down and performed a Split-Kick to knock DK off the platform. Fox jumped off the platform and attempted to dropkick DK further away, but Kong locked his knees together and stomped on his head and forced them both to touch the acid. Because of their exposure they were both KO'd.

They returned to the stage after the acid disappeared and saw a Bob-Omb between them. Before they could grab it, it started to walk so they jumped towards the left platform. DK crouched down and swatted at Fox with his hand and knocked him towards the bomb. Fox quickly charged Fire Fox and launched himself south to the bottom area. He picked up a Beam Sword and tossed it over his head and connected with DK. DK was launched to the side into the bomb. Needless to say, he exploded upon contact and was launched off the stage for the KO. Fox's celebration came premature because the acid returned and he was charred before he had a chance to jump out of its path. Fox was then KO'd as DK returned with his final life.

Winner: Donkey Kong

DK jumped off the stage and began making his way to the back. Before reaching the curtain he turned to the crowd and waved and as he did he was struck from behind by Kirby. Kirby pulled out his signature Hammer and hit DK in the back of his knee. DK slapped the ground with his palms and knocked the Hammer out of Kirby's hands. DK attempted to stand on the leg that Kirby attacked, but he had trouble and was forced to put his weight on the other one. DK picked up the Hammer and challenged Kirby to continue the fight, but he instead chose to run through the curtain to the back.

Misty: Oh, what a coward!

King Boo: Oh yeah, blame the cute one! DK doesn't fight fair. He acts so tough when he's got a Hammer in his hand.

Misty: Kirby attacked him first!

King Boo: I think you're mistaken. DK is clearly the one holding the Hammer. First he picks on Kirby's partner and now this. Friggin' bully!

Misty: Interesting revisionist history there.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Koopa All-Stars returned from the ad break with the camera inside Bowser's Office. Link then opened the door and let himself inside.

Bowser: Oh look, it's somebody who choked worse then the Goomba Giants last week.

Link: Man, what the hell? You know that was messed up. I took Mario to the limit and that's after killing myself in another match. Had I been at 100%, you'd have a new champion.

Bowser: Blah, blah, blah. Anyways, don't tell me you're here to beg for another shot.

Link: Like I don't deserve it!

Bowser: You failed me Link. I've already given the title shot to someone else.

Link: You'll be sorry. I'm the only one that can beat Mario.

Bowser: Get outta here. You got a match coming up.

Link stormed out of the room and bumped into Rosalina as she was heading down the hallway.

Rosalina: Owww...

Link: Well excuuuuuuuuuse me, Princess.

Kirby tip-toed towards Rosalina and coughed.

Rosalina: Okay, you're here. Kirby do you care to explain your actions earlier tonight? And can you help me up?

Kirby grabbed Rosalina's hand and started to help her to her feet when he heard a crash in the background and ran away, thus causing her to fall down again.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Kirby stumbled through the entrance curtain and made his way towards the stage as he kept looking over his shoulder.

Misty: It's time for a triple threat match. Here comes Kirby, who looks a little worried there.

King Boo: Sure he is, that psycho Donkey Kong is trying to kill him.

Misty: Kirby started it.

King Boo: DK should be the better man and let it go.

Link came out next and started doing the "Hulk Hogan" trio-set of poses on the stage ramp before heading towards the stage.

Misty: What a dork! I wish he wouldn't do things like that.

King Boo: He's a conquering hero. Make fun of his antics if you like, but he usually gets the job done.

Yoshi made his entrance last and clapped hands before jumping on the main stage.

Misty: Here's the final entrant. All three guys are in need of a win, but only one can get it.

King Boo: Link doesn't need anything. He's undefeated in Free-For-Alls, but this is only a Three-Way Dance.

Misty: What does it matter?

King Boo: He'll still be undefeated in said match if he loses. Loophole!

THREE-WAY DANCE
KIRBY VS. LINK VS. YOSHI

Link jumped over his opponents' heads and tossed out his Boomerang at them. Yoshi rolled back and extended his tongue out and grabbed Kirby and transformed him into an Egg using Egg Lay. The Egg fell off the edge, but Kirby broke free and began flying back towards the stage. During this Link charged after Yoshi with his sword extended forward. Yoshi jumped over him and Link ended up stabbing Kirby in the head and KOing him from the match. When Link turned around he was met with a Pokeball that Yoshi tossed at him. It knocked Link off the stage, but he quickly jumped back on and held onto the edge. The Acid was going to rise and so Link quickly pulled himself on the stage only to be blown up by the Electrode that was released from the Pokeball!

As the Acid began to rise Yoshi jumped up towards a higher platform. Kirby had returned from his KO and performed Stone above Yoshi's head and crashed-landed on him. Kirby's attack knocked Yoshi to the side and off the stage, but when Kirby's form went back to normal he was burned by the Acid. Kirby went flying towards Link who performed Spin Attack and knocked him in the opposite direction with the rotation of his sword. Kirby began flying back towards the stage when Link dove after him and sliced him in the head with his blade. Kirby tried to recover quickly by using Final Cutter, but he merely dove into the Acid and met his doom. Yoshi stalked Link after he returned from his attack on Kirby and tried to hit him with a Head-Butt, but the Hylian Hero rolled away to escape the attack. Link used his Hookshot to try and grab Yoshi, but he rolled behind him and smacked him with his tail and knocked him off the stage. As Link attempted to recover Yoshi tossed an Egg at him via Egg Toss and prevented him from grabbing the ledge.

Yoshi jumped towards the Elevator on the right side and challenged Kirby to fight him. Kirby ignored him at first, but went after him when Link tossed a Bomb at him. Link jumped over the Elevator and came crashing down towards it with his sword. Yoshi jumped out of the way as Link stabbed Kirby in the head and KO'd him. Yoshi then performed the Yoshi Bomb on Link as he was stunned from his own attack and knocked him off the platform. Link attempted to jump back on it, but it rose above Link's reach and he went into the Acid. Link was knocked flying towards Yoshi upon touching it only for the Green Dinosaur to hit him with a Head-Butt and KO him for the last time.

Winner: Yoshi

Misty: And Yoshi walks away with the win.

King Boo: Told ya. Still undefeated in his Specialty Match!

Misty: Yeah, but unless he starts winning matches he won't get another title shot.

King Boo: He will if all his Fangirls e-mail Bowser.

Misty: I'm sure those three will convince him.

King Boo: Har har. And I bet you're one of those three!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Samus' theme played over the arena speakers as she made her way down to the stage. She grabbed a microphone and addressed the backstage area.

Samus: Jigglypuff! I don't know what your game is, but I didn't come to this place to receive pain and punishment. I came to dish it out. I have yet to win a match in this company and that's all about to change. Now I get that you like inflicting pain upon yourself as much as your opponent, which is why I'm going to give you what you want. So get out here and let's do this. One of us is getting out of their winless streak and it's damn sure not gonna be me.

Jigglypuff walked through the curtain holding a Cat O'Nine Tails against his face before speaking into a microphone of his own.

Jigglypuff: If you wanted a date, well all ya had to do was ask. I'm sorta seeing someone at the moment though, so I hope she isn't too jealous.

Jigglypuff then proceeded to blow a kiss to Misty as he walked over the announce booth. He put the whip on there and told her not to "start" without him and then went to the stage for the match.

King Boo: And you said he wouldn't call!

Misty: Oh shut up, I am not his girlfriend.

King Boo: Yeah, yeah, you're his mistress.

Misty: You're such an idiot.

King Boo: I hope he doesn't overhear you talking dirty to me like that. He's liable to get mad!

SINGLES BOUT
SAMUS VS. JIGGLYPUFF

Samus rolled back and began charging her gun when Jigglypuff picked up a Beam Sword. He tossed it at her, but she jumped over it and landed on the above platform. Jigglypuff ran after the weapon as it landed near the edge of the stage. Samus ducked beneath the platform and gave Jigglypuff a kick in the back to knock him off the stage. Jigglypuff began flying back towards the stage when Samus unleashed her Charge Shot and blasted him in the face with her attack. The attack KO'd Jigglypuff and as he flew away the Acid started to rise. Samus quickly jumped up to the higher platforms, but Jigglypuff had returned to the match and drilled Samus in the head and knocked her into the Acid. She bounced into the air and as she came down she attempted to stomp Jigglypuff in the head. Jigglypuff quickly rolled to the side and struck Samus with a Sliding Kick to KO her.

Samus returned from her demise and once again attempted to stomp on Jigglypuff. She connected with his head and caused him to bounce into the air slightly. Samus jumped over Jigglypuff and then hit him again with a Back-Heel Kick. Jigglypuff started flying back and grabbed a hold of the ledge. The Acid began to creep up again and so he started making his way to a higher platform. Samus jumped above him and tried to unleash a Bomb on him using her Morph Ball Form. Jigglypuff rolled to the side and began to recite a Lullaby using Sing, causing Samus to fall into a deep sleep. Jigglypuff flew away rather then attack her and this allowed the Acid to touch her feet and knock her away. Samus attempted to use Screw Attack to jump towards the stage, but she missed and fell into the Acid again. This time the damage was too much and she went flying out-of-bounds.

Jigglypuff moved to the Elevator Platform and picked up a Bob-Omb. Samus chased after him and snagged him with her Grapple Beam. Doing so caused Jigglypuff to drop the Bomb and both were blown up. Samus stomped on her opponent's head and knocked him into the Acid for the KO as she grabbed the ledge and recovered from the mishap. Jigglypuff returned to the match a few seconds later and saw a Pokeball. He began flying towards it, but then changed directions. Samus used that opportunity to go after it instead. As she did Jigglypuff began flying back towards the item and kicked Samus in the back. Samus went flying off the stage and so Jigglypuff picked up the Pokeball and tossed it towards the edge of the stage. A Charizard popped out and so Jigglypuff stood in the middle of it and protected himself from Samus. The flames from the beast knocked her away from the stage, however, and she was KO'd yet again.

Winner: Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff jumped off the stage and went to grab his whip from the announce booth before heading to the back.

King Boo: Be careful out there. I betcha he's a heart breaker.

Misty: Oh shaddap. I shoulda smacked you with that thing.

King Boo: Always better to give then receive I say.

Misty: *sigh* Coming up next is our main event. It is a Team Match pitting the Mario Bros. against Ness & Pikachu.

King Boo: I don't like any of those guys, but if a Hammer shows up... the match will be awesome.
