This is interesting news because it seemed like they were forced out by WWE. So either that was exaggerated, or the combination with New Japan made them rethink it.

This is huge. NJPW are getting (even more) serious about their global expansion. Is Vince scared? Probably not. He might have reason to be though.

I wonder if Bryan still has ambitions to go around collecting masks...
It's a historic moment for both companies. This time 10 years ago, ROH was close to folding and New Japan was reeling from years of short-sighted booking decisions. Their resurgence in recent times has been a genuine joy to follow and has really helped change the narrative of the industry. What appeared to be dying following the Benoit fall-out has never been in better shape.
I'm not sure if they'll go head to head with the WWE, but even as a WWE fan this has to be exciting news since it will mean the talent pool will only get better.
