Wayyyy too many heel wins tonight. Orton was the only face to win and that was in a throwaway match.

Having watched a couple of weeks of Smackdown and now this PPV I feel qualified to say that Road Dogg is about as good a booker as I imagined he would be.

PPV far exceeded my expectations. Usos/New Day is one of my favorite HIAC matches of all time. Just incredible.

The two cell matches were the best matches of the night, with the triple threat the third. Fun triple threat match. Everything else was ok to meh.


K.O vs Shane was a pretty good match, if a little long, however I was very tense and that finish with Sami was all just crazy. Good stuff. I'm not sure how I feel about potential heel Sami, but I'll let the story playout as I'm interested.



New Day vs Usos, like I thought it would, was the best match of all their great matches, one of the greatest hell in a cell matches ever, and is my WWE match of the year. I loved it. It was just incredible.

Hopefully there was a reason AJ dropped the US belt. Get ready Jinder.

I don't see Styles being the guy to dethrone Jinder. I think that position is being saved for John Cena.

Cena's next title win will be the record-breaker. I think it's obvious that the guy who will dethrone Lesnar on Raw will be Reigns, so that leaves Smackdown for Cena to swoop in.

Styles could be Jinder's next feud, but he won't win. Styles and Nakamura will form a partnership to try and get the title off Jinder, but eventually John Cena will be the one to do it, probably at the Royal Rumble.

If AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura form a partnership, it could lead to a match between the two at some point, which they've already teased more than once. It would be awesome if it were for the title, but I doubt it. Maybe a #1 contenders match? Maybe they're the final two in the Royal Rumble and they eliminate each other at the same time?

Hell with the way they treat Baron Corbin, AJ Styles could demand a rematch on Tuesday and win the US title back and I wouldn't even be surprised.

AJ said he might do that on Talking Smack, so it's possible with the way that title bounces around.
