So apparently, January 3rd will be the last episode of Impact Wrestling, on POP TV as it'll be moving to the Pursuit Channel.

After nearly three years with POP TV, Impact Wrestling is taking its business elsewhere.

After Impact's first pay-per-view of 2019, the battered, yet persistent company will air its television on the Pursuit Channel on Friday nights at 10 PM ET. The first episode will air January 11.

Impact has endured a tumultuous history, to say the least, however, it still finds a way to maintain relevancy in the wrestling world. With TNA legends like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe thriving in WWE, the Impact brand can take a little credit for their careers. Their 2019 roster features some WWE shoes like Johnny Impact (John Morrison) and Rich Swann as well as intriguing names like Eli Drake, Moose, and Eddie Edwards. Perhaps the most significant Impact based news is the arrival of their former poster boy, EC3 to WWE's main roster.

TORONTO | LUVERNE – IMPACT Wrestling, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., announced today it has entered into an agreement to broadcast its flagship weekly two-hour program IMPACT! nationally across the U.S. on Pursuit Channel, the most widely distributed outdoor network and one of the fastest growing channels in the country.

Quite the downgrade. Before you know it, it'll go down to Community Access before it bites the dust.

Pursuit is a temp fix while they try to negotiate with other channels. the deal with Pop ends on Dec 31st. Sadly I don't have Pursuit so after Homecoming, I guess i'll just be reading spoilers to keep up. Sad because this is the only company I watch religiously every single week. I love Impact.

it is. but it isn't their endgame at the moment. they want a larger network and are hoping to get one.

but in the meantime, they had to go somewhere, thus they landed on Pursuit.

I'm still surprised they haven't pursued a streaming option, even if it's through their owned platforms. It has to be better to be nationally available than this BS channel with none-percent awareness. They weren't making money on Pop, as it was essentially a barter system, so what's the difference?

They couldn't get a better time slot on a new network. I will say Impact does make me learn about stations I didn't know I had.

In regards to the time slot I don't think many people watch live tv it's more about DVR and watching it later.

also, it was announced that Impact will now air on Twitch every week at 10pm EST, simulcasting with the Pursuit channel airing. Everyone can watch on Twitch. it starts this Friday.

I'm twitching. The new subscriber thank you pop up is a little annoying. It's Killer Kross I got to go.

The twitch show had no commercials but clips from GWN. Top five dives of CD and Jeff Hardy. Random moment in impact history. If I'm home this is how I'll be watching. DVR the rest.

Is it time to split LAX? No feud. Just let them go their separate ways. Ortiz seems to be trending heel and Santana seems to still be face. Put them in feast or fired. Ortiz gets X division title shot and push him in that division. Santana gets nothing, but start pushing him in the heavy weight division. Maybe its just me but I think Santana is Impact's next big break out star.

The last TNA original Abyss is leaving Impact. Sonjay Dutt is also leaving. Both rumored to be heading to the WWE.

Really good show this week. LAX/LB was great. Keep them apart for awhile and build up for match #3. The match that really surprised me was Rohit Raju vs. Trey of the Rascalz. Rohit has been growing on me as a knucklehead heel.

Sami and Aries are having a hell of a fight on Twitter. I love it.

I've been watching Impact on Twitch. Really nice set up they have there.

I know he will retain but I do want Johnny to drop the belt.

Me too.  Johnny is kind of blah as a face.  I assume Cage will be the next Impact champion.  If it was up to me I'd put it on Kross.  

Kross would be a great choice.

So read somewhere that both Rob Van Dam and Sabu, were gonna be on the next episode of Impact, to take on Lucha Bros. for the tag titles.

This weeks show was almost awesome. It started hot with the Tessa Taya street fight. Lost some of the steam with Mack/Page. I'm to the point I don't care about Sami/Swann. World cup was ok. Johnny, Cage, Moose, Kross 4 way was great.

Impact with a strong show this week. Starting with Kross and Moose. Ending with Lucha Bros and LAX. Loved the Disco segment. Tessa press slamming Alisha. E-li-Drake is by far the best person on the mic in the business. Rosemary making a deal with the Sinister Minister. Even Rascals and Hit Squad was good. Gama showing up in the Rascals back stage segment was fun. Overall really good show.

Another good show this week. I'm all for new people getting a shot but the Doom chick that took on Tessa was awful. The back stage segments are great. Really enjoying the Disco I'm the new ass to kiss around here. KM Fallah promo after their match was good. They need to get away from Dreamer as regular. Use him more as a special attraction every now and then. If at all.

Caught some of the opening day twitch show last night. I think they would do better showing it on a different night like Wednesday or Thursday. Ace Austin looks like he will be a great addition for Impact.
