What are you plans for Halloween? Halloween isn’t big in Australia but there’s still enough of a presence that you can buy related items in stores and there might be a few related sales with horror DVD’s etc.

Halloween falls on Wednesday in Australia this year, which is my only guaranteed day off, so having a party for it. Planning to decorate my house If anyone has any cool tips or ideas?

Was thinking of also carving a Pumpkin if anyone has any tips for the easiest ways of doing that 🎃.

It's my little guy's first halloween, so we'll bring him to a few of the neighbour's houses, and some family in the area too. He's got an adorable pineapple costume. Then back home to hand out candy.

Hopefully I get some trick or treaters as my house is on the highway.
Though most trick or treaters are just teenagers without costumes wanting free stuff so maybe not 😂.

I LOVE Halloween. So much fun!!! I’m almost done decorating but as some of the stuff is handmade I don’t put those out until the night of usually. We have a cauldron and smoke machine. The kids love it. I love to see their faces.

Our local rock station throws what’s called the Halloween Howler. They have two or three bands and lots of prizes. It’s been going on for years and this is the first year I’m going. Going to dress up like a ‘phat’ little bumble bee.

Foos how exciting! I loved all those firsts with my daughter. Enjoy every minute!!!

I plan on having a binge watch of Tales From The Crypt that night.

I’ll be going to Six Flags to celebrate a friend’s birthday, her birthday is two days before but we’re going on Halloween. I haven’t been since I was a kid, I’ve never been on any of the popular rides either so I’m excited.

My niece went trick or treating for the first time last year as Wonder Woman, I didn't get to go with them but they came over after they were done and the sheer joy on her face when she seen all the candy she got piled up on the floor is something I'll never forget. :lol: She's going this year as Super Girl

Has anyone ever had any problems with theft or vandalism when they decorated for Halloween?

I only bought cheap K-Mart stuff but my place is on a highway and not far from what the locals call “crim crescent” so rather avoid issues.
Might just leave one item out and if it’s not still there the next day I know my answer 😂

My plan was to dress as Pennywise and instead of handing out candy to kids, I was going to open the door and hand them a red ballon each. She told me that I would embarrass her and whatnot, but I might still do it. Fuck it. I think I’m just going to do it and not tell her about it until she sees me blowing up 50 red balloons dressed as fucking IT! Imagine a sky filled with red balloons on Halloween. It’s incredible!

That sounds awesome. My gf works at a board game/pop culture store and they always have kids buying Pennywise funko’s
despite IT being an MA film so I’m sure they’d love it anyway 😂.
