Just wondered what you guys think of the International league of nations thing that has been taking place with International countries instead of the boring & unimportant friendly matches that more often than not were a waste of time as the players & managers of the teams didn't particularly take them seriously and the amount of substitutions throughout the games were ridiculous.
I have been entertained by most of the matches that have taken place since this begun & being from England the display of the England team in their League which also consists of Spain & Croatia has been a dramatic improvement which I think one of the reasons is the matches are more competitive which gives the players something to play for.
All the groups seem to be providing good matches & I hope it continues to grow better as it goes on

It's definitely an improvement, just from the sheer perspective that you have the top countries grouped together rather than battering the minnows. And it's also good for those smaller nations as they get more games against teams of a similar quality, as we saw with Gibraltar getting their first ever win, something that would have taken years to occur under the old system.

Yeah I was chuffed for Gibraltar getting their first ever win & then following it up with another in their next match. I keep hoping San Marino will break their duck eventually & sneak a win sometime, 1 win in 152 matches! The players must hate playing
