Everyone appearing in the top seven were on both @admin and myselfs list , the bottom three were only on one of our lists. Still though 7/10 for a consensus isn't that bad. @admin still had Vander Esch and Jackson left from his list while I had Jesse Bates at the bottom of mine. Saquon was our unanimous #1 , I hate saying anything nice about the Giants but that kid is fucking special and head and shoulders above everyone else in this rookie class up to this point. He's putting up great numbers but when you consider the offense he is playing on , the corpse of Eli Manning and that shit they call an offensive line and the dude might be the best running back in football. You swap him with someone like Todd Gurley and he could be MVP as a rookie - hell put him on a team like the Packers or Vikings or any other remotely decent - good offense and he still might get consideration. He makes me tune into Giants games and that's something I never felt good about for the past decade. Darius Leonard is someone that deserves a ton of spotlight for how he's playing in Indy. No one knows about him it seems but that guy is a tackling machine and splash player that could be a centerpiece to rebuilding that defense. Derwin James is another All Pro type player , his ability close to the LOS is remarkable for a safety and he's got the tools to get a little better on the backend. The quarterback I'm sure will be a topic of discussion but I'll hold off on my side of that argument until it comes up. If it comes up.

100% agree about Barkley. The production he's had with a shitty offensive line and a shot Eli Manning is staggering.
The only downside of his game is that he's dogshit at picking up the blitz. He really needs to work on that.

My only complaint and not really a complaint is that IN MY OPINION, I think Kerryon is a better RB then Sony. The Lions are finally giving him the ball a little bit more and he’s putting up the best Detroit numbers since Barry Sanders. I’m convinced Kerryon is the real deal more so then Sony who is just in a better system/team.

I wish, but Barkley is bad even picking up single blitzers He either misses the block entirely or gets pushed back into Eli. Nothing that can't be fixed though, and the rest of his game more than makes up for it.

I had them that way around too, 6.4ypc is crazy and even better on a team that has always struggled to run the ball. Michel is doing nicely but when I saw him the other week against the Chiefs he was getting 10 yard chunks before being touched rather than off the back of anything particularly special he was doing himself.

You guys aren't wrong , and I was probably skewed in the wrong direction by having both on my fantasy teams and Michel being more valuable in that aspect - because at least he scores touchdowns. Kerryon still doesn't get the work I'd like to see from hims because the Lions suck and has yet to even reach 20 carries - Michel was/is in a system that rarely relies on rookie to come in and perform the way he does so I have to believe he's got so many facets of the game down and Kerryon doesn't. I don't think there is a wrong answer but I've watched a bit of both of these guys and I just feel as if Michel is the better all around back. I could be proven wrong in an instance though if Kerryon builds on his last performance.

This would largely be down to backfield depth though - the Patriots lost Burkhead and Hill to injury leaving Michel as their only real between the tackles runner - whilst the Lions have Garry Blount stealing touches (and redzone looks re: the TD issue you mentioned) from Johnson.

Yeah I get it , I know I'm probably wrong at this point but I also don't think it would be as much of a clear Johnson win until the last game where Kerryon went off and Michel left early with an injury. I like what I've seen from both guys though , I just think I'm more impressed by a rookie implementing himself into the Patriots system and being successful than another Lions back flashing big things. Unfair to Johnson sure...

Jets inability to give Sam Darnold weapons is the lone reason he isn't in the top ten. Damn shame he isn't on this list but I can't bang for him over thee guys, sucks. Jets oline is utter rubbish.
