Bills defence has been very valiant tonight but that missed third down tackle on James White is almost certainly game over - no way this offence is scoring two touchdowns let alone one.

So let’s talk. Who do we think is getting traded?
Some hot topic names are Shady, Demaryuis Thomas, Lev Bell, Landon Collins, Jordan Howard, Pierre Garcon. Who you think goes somewhere and where?

I’ll be stunned if Shady is still in Buffalo after tomorrow. He’s vital to their offence, but let’s be real: Buffalo isn’t winning shit this year and running Shady into the ground for another season isn’t going to do them any favours. Also he’s expensive, and he has baggage. Ship him off for as many offensive linemen and picks as you can get.
Buffalo is so poorly run though they’ll probably extend him. Fuck.
Priority #1 in Buffalo for the rest of the year should be figuring out how they’re going to protect Josh Allen next season. That’s it.

The Eagles should really stop being stubborn and grab Shady. Smallwood, Clement and Adams are not the answer. They’re going to shoot themselves in the foot if they want to put all the weight on Wentz and the passing game. Wentz was able to have an MVP like start last season with a running game. If they truly want to compete with the Rams, Saints and Vikings then they’re going to need a running game.
Speaking of running games. Why is Washington so quietly shutting down their opponents running games? Adrian Peterson is having an awesome year, too. Hard to root against those guys in DC.

Shady would fit like a glove in Philly, and it's no secret he's been dying to go back, he never wanted to leave in the first place, that was Chip Kelly's doing. Guys like Gurley and Saquon bring more to the table in terms of versatility, but to me Peterson is still the best pure runner in the league. His vision and ability to jump cut and accelerate through holes is out of this world. I might have given up on him a little too soon.

No trades yet, but DRC AKA Dominique Rodgers Cromartie has officially retired today. He done riding the bench with the Raiders. He probably heard there was no trade interest and said duck it.

Demaryuis Thomas traded to the Houston Texans. shinobimusashi thoughts? I've slipped back into "Fuck the world" mode with the Texans(the world being all 31 other NFL teams) so I have no idea who this guy is. Somebody give me a report on my desk, preferably before lunch is over. Edit: Just looked over his career stats, definitely impressive. I honestly wasn't that upset about Will Fuller going down you can pretty well bet the farm that he's going to suffer major injury every year, dude has incredible heart but body made out of glass. I figured with Coutee and Ellington possibly coming back from IR we would be ok but judging from this trade maybe those guys are more banged up than I thought. I'm pessimistic about somebody coming here on short notice and making a big impact on the offense but with only a 4th round pick at stake I guess it's worth a shot. It pleases me that this new GM IS making moves to win now though. Need to make a run while we still got JJ(and before Romeo retires, isn't he like 90?), this is the year to go all in, I don't see a single team in the NFL that we can't beat, that includes Rams, Pats, and Chiefs. This could be the year I die of a major cardiac event from watching football. Already had to switch to half-caff coffee in hopes of not getting myself banned from PW.

Thomas isn't the deep threat that Fuller is, at least not anymore, but he's a quality receiver to compensate for a 4th round pick. Good business I think, allows Coutee to develop in the slot and gives Watson weapons everywhere. We need to go for a playoff run now, great defensive core, top 3 quarterback on a rookie contract, and weapons everywhere. Makes sense from that standpoint, Fuller's injury really had the potential to derail us offensively.

Yeah, a real shame. So many contradicting stories came out of that game. Sources (which are the worst humans in the world) saying that he was throwing temper tantrums to him denying it afterwards. Just wild. He’s in a better place in Baltimore with more opportunity.

Rams are winning the Super Bowl this year. I’m convinced it’s them UNLESS McVeigh is just a playoff choke artist.

Also, the Packers traded Ty Montgomery to the Ravens for what is the equivalent of a ham sandwich. A seventh rounder in next year's draft.
You think what happened with him on Sunday caused the trade?

Also Jim "PLAYOFFS!?" Mora and Denny Green. Cowher had some of that going too until the Steelers won the Super Bowl in 2005, a lot of #1 seeds and a lot of home playoff losses before that.

That's part of it, but he was having a lousy year even before that. On top of that, he should have just said "I fucked up, sorry" instead of trying to make excuses and say McCarthy didn't tell him not to run out. You're a fucking professional, you should KNOW better than to run the ball out in that situation. I don't think it's fair to blame him for the loss because there is no guarantee Aaron Rodgers would have brought the Pack back for the winning score (especially not with Aaron Donald breathing down your neck) but he most definitely took away any chance the Pack had to win the game.

He was having a fine year , we just had more mouths to feed. Not a game breaker but he made some big plays. And Aaron would have won that game. Rodgers. Not Donald.

Agreed. The Pack may not have won, but not even giving Rodgers a chance in the Fourth Quarter with the game on the line is as dumb a play as possible. And I'm a Rams fan. I hate the Fowler trade for the Rams. Guy hasn't been healthy or effective, and we gave away third AND fifth rounder (2019 and 2020 Drafts, respectively). Way over-priced.

The Rams are doing what they have to do to win now. They see that their division is in a rebuild mode and they know that this is their time. They’re also hoping McVeigh, Goff, Gurley, Darnold can lead this team for the next decade.
If they win it all this year, what’s a 3rd rounder worth next year to them?

Not to mention Fowler is going to get a ton of 1v1 mismatches pass rushing alongside Aaron Donald and company.
