More friends get back together. Smackdown the home of restoring friendships.

Rowan should talk more..... Heard a rumor Neville asked for his release earlier today... Hopefully that stays a rumor. Unless he is tired of not being respected and the CW title usually on the preshow.

Is this non entrance thing working for Dolph? Not from where I'm sitting. How about the rest of you?

I'm getting sick of this trope that they trot out. Face challenges heel, heel looks like he'll get in the ring and then begs off. It's a bit tiresome.
Edit: Wow, somehow in a 2 hour Smackdown, they found no space for the WWE Champion. That really does say a lot.

Unless he is tired of not being respected and the CW title usually on the preshow. Apparently he walked out before Raw went on the air last night after plans were changed last minute.... I wouldn't miss him but I know you guys would be bummed...

The Baron still holds his prize.
I wonder what will be next for AJ?

I hate 'bickering' segments. Bobby Roode confronted Dolph Ziggler and instead of settling things man to man, we got a verbal jousting setting where both guys came across poorly. You could have accomplished more in similar if not less time if you had Roode come out, beat some guy, cut a promo after the match and announced a rematch for next week's show. Dolph could have then given his rebuttal before the match in a backstage interview.
Corbin looked fantastic in his victory against AJ Styles. That was a quality main event and both men should be applauded for their work, but I hate the booking. Nobody in their right mind wanted to see AJ win that match, and when you put your babyface in that situation, it's a problem. That's why I hate all these unnecessary mid-card belts, at the end of the day, they're just a crutch to make matches more interesting or get over guys who aren't talented enough to get over by themselves.
Also Sami Zayn is my favourite wrestler. Finally, somebody who can see through the awful Shane McMahon character and is willing to do something about that. How'd you enjoy that fall Shane? I hope it was a better trip than the one you've sent your brand on. Hopefully with Shane in recovery, we can make some headway and finally rid ourselves of the Modern Day Maharaja once and for all. Too many careers have been adversely affected by this reign and the fans are beginning to vote with their wallets.

That opening segment plus opening match was a lot of fun.
It's always makes me happy to see how over Becky stays with no story going on and minimal appearances. Plus she got a win! Give her the title!
Owens/Sami segment was great.
Not sure how I feel about the Bludgeon Brothers, but Harper and Rowan make a great tag team. Plus Bludgeon Brothers=2B which equals guys who attacked Breezango.
Main event was a really good match, with Corbin getting a legit win.
I really hope New Day or A.J go into a rivalry with Jinder and the Singhs.

As amazing as Zayn's performance was at Hell in a Cell, surely he has to know his days in the WWE are numbered? Unless Stephanie hires him back, you would have to think his opportunities are going to be further limited. It isn't like Owens is going to team up with him, why would he when he has WWE Championship credentials? Now maybe this change of attitude will make him more successful in-ring, but let's not forget this is a guy who is 0-3 against Aiden English and hasn't won a singles match since July.
We'll know more next week, but as it stands he has a very steep hill to climb.

I don't follow the current product very closely at all, but the Bludgeon Brothers concept has me very intrigued.
I love that the worst part of the Wyatt Family was the character the group was named after and meant to prop up.

The Bludgeon Brothers promo was kinda cheesy but still way better and at least more promising than anything Bray Wyatt has said and done in the last 2 years.

The Usos are a generational tag team. What do you mean by this? I watched smackdown and I enjoyed most of it. My interest in the whole Ziggler deal diminished every week, so unfortunately I'm getting less excited about Roode because of it. To echo others, The Usos have been great since their heel turn and I just love the way they carry themselves and are presented. I'm not the biggest Kevin Owens fan, but my interest was held for the whole Cell match, and was interested enough in the Sami/Zayn dynamic to watchj smackdown and think it all made sense and was done well. Next step, work Aj Styles and Kevin Owens into the heavyweight title picture.

I'm a bit late on this one but I wanted to discuss Bobby Roode...jesus that promo with dolph was awkward. It felt like Bobby couldn't remember his lines at times so we got stuck with some long pauses. It's amazing how WWE can take a guy who was incredibly over in NXT and then overnight just change everything about his character with no explanation. He went from cool and cocky heel who had charisma to cookie cutter babyface who can't cut a promo. I'm at the point now where I don't want the NXT crew to get the call up.
