I enjoy my very short commute to work, I can see my workplace from my kitchen window. Very grateful considering some people take hour(s) to get to work. I’ll edit a pic in when it’s daylight The white sign is the entrance to my work, photo taken from front of my house. I enjoy spending time with my gf, especially going to the movies. We go all the time so it’s nothing major but good to always have someone to share movie thoughts with. Watching PPV’s with my oldest younger brother is always fun, even if he stitches me up with the pre-show every time. He always insists he wants to come over early and watch whatever the pre-show match is, I’ll get up earlier for it and watch it. Then he’ll show up 20 mins into the main card 🤦🏻♀️. (PPV’s start in the morning here (earlier when DST ends) and I work nights.) 98% of co-workers are all cool people, one of the old guys at work was happy I was back from holidays because on quiet nights i’d put Youtube UFC videos on to the sports lounge smart TV for him and he doesn’t know how to do it 😂.

Good call on the short work commute System. It’s one of the big reasons I keep working where I’m at. An 8 minute drive is a dream. My mom loves those romance/Hallmark made for TV movies especially at Christmas time. For the most part they are horrible. Bad acting and predictable AF. I groan about it, but honestly spending time watching them with her is precious to me as I know one day she won’t be around and this will end up being one of my favorite memories. An amazing sunset or sunrise.

the wonderful world of game cameras. I don't hunt but I own land out in the middle of no where. Its about 30 miles from my home. So its far enough to get away and close enough to come home at the end of the day. I don't go out there as often as I like. So I put a game camera just to see what is happening while I'm not there. More so to make sure no one is there that should not be there. I started to notice the animals in the pictures deer, dogs, fox, coyote, rabbits, birds, an owl, ect.... I now have 4 cameras out there. #1 face in my tractor and storage building. #2 face the bank of my tank/pond so I can see the animal get water and make sure no one is stealing my fish. The other two are in the woods. #3 stays in the same place facing a trail opening that catches most of the wild life. The last #4 I like to move around to different areas.

I’m not sure how I forgot going to the movies. I don’t do it often anymore and it’s so expensive it barely feels like a little thing anymore, but I really love going to a theater. Love the popcorn, the trailers, the surround sound, etc. I don’t love the prevalence of phone use during one though.

Smell has to be the most underrated of the senses. Little things like catching a whif of gasoline or freshly mowed grass. Like if I went blind no doubt look at suicide. Hearing... I'll miss music but it might even be peaceful. No smell? Might be close to losing your sight.

What are some of your all's personal favorite smells? For god knows what reason, musty smells have always been a very nostalgically pleasing scent to me.

I love the smell of dryer sheets or fabric softener or whatever you call it. Hating doing laundry but that smell almost makes it worth it - just something incredibly relaxing and comforting about it.

I helped a contractor clear some land last summer when we were waiting on a slab, ran a chainsaw and drove skid steer around moving trees it was a lot of fun. Somebody around that same area cought a pic of what looked like 2 cougars or mountain lions on there game cam recently, both where huge my little bro was showing me the pic i couldn't believe it.

One of my co-workers has no sense of smell, you don’t realise how much it comes up in conversation until you speak to someone with no sense about it. Her BO has even been brought up at staff meetings/people have had to tell her which is awkward as hell but she obviously doesn’t know. Some people with a sense of smell have that problem also. If I had no sense of smell i’d be paranoid and showering every hour or something 😒.

That little moment when you get a compliment on the t-shirt you’re wearing. About two weeks ago I went to the movies with my friends to watch Happy Death 2U, and I was wearing my Michael Scott Paper Company t-shirt which I got a few compliments on from the theater employees. I get compliments on some of my wrestling tees as well, it’s a little thing that’s a nice feeling to share with a random stranger. The opposite when you’re the one complimenting someone’s t-shirt is a nice feeling too.

I've always kinda loved when stand-up comics bring things back to a minor topic they talked about earlier (Gaffigan and Fried Bread). Always a bit of a mark out moment.

Callbacks and full circle moments are marks of greatness in anything, IMO – standup routines, wrestling matches, movies, books, etc.

Then I get awkward moments with people who don’t know what they are wearing. Me at work “Nice Seth Rollins shirt bro!” Guy: Huh?” Me: The shirt your wearing is for a wrestler Seth Rollins. Him: Oh, I didn’t know. I bought it from Jay Jays.

I see a few already mentioned it and this is a bit of a bump, but yes @ vacuuming. I think moreso it's that moment when you suck in something hard ( ) like say a fingernail or a pebble and it makes that "clink" noise, always a mark out moment. Seeing the lines in the carpet from where you did your chore is also cosmetically pleasing to look at, similar to a freshly mowed lawn.

I broke our vacuum the other day.
I'm still pretty upset about it.
Aside from being apparently fragile, it was the best vacuum I've ever vacuumed with.

You know when you're watching a show or a movie and a character appears and you know them from somewhere? And you figure it out before you resort to Google/Wiki? One of life's small pleasures. Even cheating and finding out where you know them from is a small "of course" eye opener.

Check out this little thing My new niece, Anna Marley, born on my little sisters birthday that passed away six years ago. Life has such a funny way of making you cry and smile at the same time sometimes. God I miss that girl

Baking has always been an ultra-cathartic experience for me, and thanks to YouTube, I've had plenty of opportunities to try new things. Last week, I made a loaf of bread all by myself, with no bread maker, measuring everything by weight, and it came out really well!

When friends find a video/meme that’s hilarious and share it with you
I don’t want to admit how long I laughed at this

My cooking has really improved over the last couple of years but baking has still got some work left (obviously I get a lot more practice at the former). We had a Thursday tradition to get cinnamon buns from the coffee shop near work, but the supplier they got them from closed down - so I had a crack at making my own. They tasted legit, but it's been so cold here I didn't really get the yeast rise in my dough so they were a little bit small.
