They are kind of a fluid dynamic. Pretty similar schedule to the movie ones at first where we vote towards the end of one list.

The upcoming schedule tentivealy looks like:

Women’s Top 15
Top Ten Duos
Vote on something relating to the winner of the factions
Cage Matches
Nick Foley Rivals

We have a smaller window than usual to get them , still a great turnout so far but this is like the 2 faction warning - so three days! Boom!

Gonna see if I can get both WoW and Pixar entries by tomorrow.

I did consider throwing Lacey Evans on the bottom of my list to class it up a bit. Instead I went with Lana Star, who was classing it up long before Lacey ever fired her first pistol.

Out of morbid curiosity and due to your hype jobs I wanted to binge watch some WoW to see what it was all about. Your write-ups in fan fic were great reads as well. My internet crapped out while I was voting and by the time I got it back and remembered I forgot to vote for the rest, the polls were locked.

I found their Unleashed PPV from 2001 on Youtube I may have to give it a watch. I vaguely remember seeing WoW mentioned in the magazines of around that time but it just seemed like more of the of what the WWF and WCW was doing at the time so I didn't bother with it. After seeing the blandness of the WWE women's division over the last couple of years I'm curious to see how WoW compares. Getting someone like Lacey Evans however I think is a step in the right direction for WWE.

lol As a WOW enthusiast, I appreciate the interest, but I just can't see you being a WOW fan. The wrestling is objectively terrible. Think an entire promotion full of entry level Divas. It was also an anachronism in its own time as a pillow soft spiritual successor to GLOW during The Attitude Era....

But that was part of its charm! And you have to know by now that I have a soft spot for bad tv wrestling. I was under no illusions that WOW (or AWF) were anything less than terrible, but it was non-Evil Empire wrestling on my tv back when wrestling was my favorite thing in the world. So of course I was going to watch.

I'm not sure how much I would have watched without Lana Star though  :lol: She was the major draw for me. Her delusional Hollywood princess gimmick was gold. She was definitely the star of the show despite being bad in the ring even by WOW standards. She got the most tv time by far. The Lana Star Christmas Special is a sports entertainment masterpiece. As were the segments with her ditzy personal assistant Patti Pizzazz. I'm going to have Lana & Patti ridiculously high on UT's upcoming Duos countdown just as I had them ridiculously high (#1 & #4 I believe) the last time we did a Favorite Women of Wrestling countdown. All my fanfic stuff is completely accurate in regards to their characters.

As for the rest of the show, Caged Heat were pretty cool as a badass (by WOW standards) tag team. They did a 3D! Their gimmick was "convicts allowed to wrestle on work leave"  :lol:  Jungle Grrrl was the best homegrown WOW gal from an in ring standpoint....meaning she was almost average. I threw both Caged Heat & Jungle Grrrl on near the bottom of my list the last time we did a Favorite Women countdown. Both acts generated a surprising amount of comments with a few people marking out for Caged Heat's gimmick and an equal number questioning the spelling acumen of Jungle Grrrl.

Riot was the internet favorite. They had a bunch of ECW-lite style women like Riot, Danger, an army of bikers with equally generic names I forget, and Poison (kind of) who were all interchangeable as far as I was concerned. Bronco Billie did a picture perfect 450 splash. Lee Marshall & Dave McLane (owner/booker/founder) provided the commentary. I don't remember much else. I was mostly there for Lana & Patti.

Yeah. I obviously considered them but they're hurt in my book by not thinking they were anything special as a kid. They just behaved as commentators are supposed to. Little did I know they popularized that bickering face/heel dynamic. Also, I wasn't really much of a Gorilla fan. 

Forgot to mention Vince/Jesse in my Listmania post. They also ruled and somebody should vote for them to make up for me not doing so.

List sent, I had a tough time with romances and friends in general. One of my painful cuts though that I hope gets some votes are Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler. My other cut was Harley Race and his surrogate son Vader. I'm sure I missed some big ones, this should be one of the more interesting top tens we've done.
