And then what will you do with her. I kind of fear for her in the ring with the amount of head injuries and head targeted finishing moves. Ideally she would be a mouthpiece for a male wrestler since she would get a chance to talk in those segment.

Her Doc was the one who did Edge, Sting, DB and Regal.

She said she was going to wrestle again, but no one knows for sure right now.  Tony is way more loose with the regulations on WWE, so it comes down to Paige herself and what risk she is willing to take.  I assume she will be wrestling, but not often and being very protected when she does.  At least first.

It is not a joke either really.  The girls have their match every week like clockwork coming back from the first commercial after 9.  So generally 9:15 or 9:20.  Only change really is if they are doing a 60 minute match to finish the show, or the rare time they main event the girls.  

Athena's problem is that she is trying to scrap Ember Moon entirely now and reinvent herself.  Like she wanted a new look, all new moves, new attitude, everything new.  And she is learning shit is not easy to do.  That new move while sloppy as hell in its debut was a good sign that is moving forward.  

Thing with Ruby is she is always good, never great.  She is not the girl you want as the top draw, but a rock for people trying to get to that slot.  She REALLY needs a finisher.  Because her whole career has really been her going from move to move that do not look like she actually end matches.  She gets moves that she gets over, people will start to believe in her more.  The Riott Kick was fun in WWE, but in AEW she needs more. 

If Saraya is cleared by her doc, then she can go.  DB, Edge and Sting all had similar injuries and all came back with no fucks given now it seems.   I doubt she will fight that often though.  She will get a team and let them fight for her, only coming in for the big PPVs.  MJF style basically.  She is FAR better on the mic than Storm or Athena too, so she could be just what those two need.

She has been using a spinning reverse sto as a finisher lately(Blade Runner/Destination Unknown). I don't blame you for not knowing since she barely on tv. And if Saraya took what Ruby took from Sammy and Tay and it goes the same or worse. It could end really bad.

Yeah, the Destination Unknown is a good sig move, but not a good finisher when she does it.

And if people work reckless than people will get hurt regardless of the state of your neck at the start. I assume Paige will pick her opponent's herself. She does not need to wrestle and can be used in many roles. I doubt she will be taking needless risks. She knows the neck if it gets hit again it can paralyze her.

The issue is that the division hasn't grown at all. It's been the Britt Baker division since the Jericho Cruise, even when she isn't carrying a title. This wouldn't be an issue if Britt's character had continued developing, but if anything she's regressed and it's beyond boring. Instead of taking the division in a fresh direction, Tony has doubled down by signing an ex-talent who hasn't worked a full schedule in over six years and is just as infamous for her personal life than her professional one.

It's easy to be cynical about the signing. AEW have built their brand on surprises and the cupboard is so bare that Saraya is the best candidate available. I don't think the signing is going to hurt the company, but it's just going to be more of the same.

The Saraya appearance was really exciting, an amazing surprise which is so rare to do in the modern era. Got an amazing reaction too. But there is the big question of "what's next?", and given the less than stellar booking of the women's division, I can see why people are concerned. I am too. I'm also excited.

There’s been a lot of speculation that she is going to be more of a manager than a wrestler. I don’t have a problem with it. She’s great on the mic. Her basically being the anti-Britt Baker and uniting the locker room against Britt’s Mean Girls would be an interesting angle. Then if she ever gets cleared, Saraya vs Britt would be a marquee women’s match for the company.

I’m not looking forward to when Britt’s entire promo is about her sex tape leaking though.

The way they brought her in, clearing the ring for her and Taz saying ‘she can go’ really felt like she was coming in as a wrestler. Huge wet fart if she’s just a talking head or a manager. I’m with you though, her safety is paramount.

I have no faith in Tony's docs.  I think they will clear her if Tony tells them to.  A serious doc would never let her wrestle again.  

But I doubt she was brought in to wrestle.  AEW does not need wrestlers, they need managers and on air talent since so few of the people they have can promo.  They also desperately need an on air matchmaker, and Saraya did that in WWE.  Tony seems really opposed to this, but feds do it for a reason, it works.

Also fairly sure Saraya will wrestle in the UK in the near future cleared or not.  She wants to wrestle, her family will book her.

I doubt she will allow the sex tape or the coke use to be used in promos.  Still a very sore subject with her that she rarely talks about in the shoots.  And after the Punk shit, AEW really does not need to go that real.  Britt can just trash her for letting the WWE girls kick her ass so bad she had to take years off.

Saraya did nothing for Kairi Sane & Asuka when she managed them, they if anything did FAR better as the Kabuki Warriors when they were allowed to just go wild on the mic.

She also held back Mandy & Sonya when they were a trifecta.

She is overrated on the mic. She has appeal for her personality and when she was in the ring but she is not a natural manager/valet. She is about as effective as Vickie Guerrero has been.

I think once the luster is gone, Saraya will be an ambassador for AEW similar to what Paul Wight and Mark Henry has been. Maybe a female commentator for the women matches exclusively on AEW Rampage. And a video game ambassador for AEW: Fight Forever. Maybe they get lucky and can get a match that isn't one on one where she can get her spots in and sustain minimal damage. 

My take is if you are going to be a manager you need to be able to bump as well as talk.

Yep. She can probably take a slap or something but it's risky for anything more. The only one who can make this work is Paul Heyman and Paige/Saraya isn't him. 

Saraya knows how to get herself over which ends up overshadowing whomever is with her, which is the problem. If your going to be a manager full time, you have to sort of know when to stay away from the limelight from your talent and not make it be "ITS PAIGE/SARAYA.........and other girls". She is attractive and has a personality that attracts both males and females but she only knows how to do it to help her, she isn't proven in the least bit to carry that over to other females associated.

Yeah I read a bit on him, he supposedly either covered up or assisted in a murder and served 4 years behind bars. Also got into fights at concerts and attacked critics of his physically too.

The Ronnie murder charge was total BS. In a quarter of the US that would have been self-defense. One of the main people died and the shooter committed suicide, and the press demanded blood so they fed them Ronnie. Court did not buy it and it was dropped, so he was just charged with battery, which he was guilty of. He missed a probation check in which is what sent him to jail in the end.

The assault charge was also BS. He tossed a mic stand off stage and it landed in the crowd and got arrested for assault since it hit someone. Be like suing Punk for diving into the crowd. The DA charge lacked evidence so no charges stuck.

He was a piece of shit to his ex'es most likely but no real sign of that with Saraya. Pretty sure he could not get away with it with her anyway. So posts to instagram people may show up at the house.

My take is it will be like her mom, and ADR will be the last time she will be abused.  Ronnie tries that shit, she will likely fight back, then send his ass to jail.  Sole reason she let ADR treat her like shit was she was miserable from the sex tape leaks and coked out of her mind.  Once she got clean she left his ass.   

Most of the shit people hate him for they do not even know the detail of.  Hate him for doing shit music, but "concert violence and fights" is like he did what every other hardcore band for the last 50 years has done.  Many bands will throw fans off the stage or get into the crowd and start swinging.  

The woman he "attacked" at a show in Utah he ended up suing for defamation and winning against because she never showed replied to court documents.  She wanted everyone to know all about what happened, but not under oath where they would also hear from the police who looked into her claims.

Hate on Saraya and Ronnie because you do not like them basically as a wrestler or musician, but hating on them for one sided net drama is BS. They both still get death threats, and crazy people keep showing up at their houses.

She hasn't even been in AEW a week and already have negative press. Tony can't catch a break.

Most fans will not even know why people are freaking out, sure Tony does not give a fuck.  The fact there are several scandals all relating to her social media shows how people are really stretching here.  I mean we got what four freakouts?  OMG she posted sexy pics.  OMG she pronouncing her name wrong.  OMG Ronnie made a stabby motion.  OMG she may not be cleared to wrestle.  

This is so petty given the drama that happening at a press event just two weeks ago.

The division did actually feel different tonight and Saraya seem to talk longer then any other woman in AEW so far minus Brandi. The woman segment was kind of close to the top of the hour. Now just need to see if it was because travel issues or will they continue to give the women time.

The news Saraya has been waiting for, has finally came.

According to the Wrestling Observer Network, she has been cleared for an in-ring return.
