Pretty simple thread what are some of the best carry-jobs of a green or bad female wrestler you can remember.



Melina vs Candice GAB 2007 was a pretty good carry job and one of the few times Candice came off as an actual wrestler, and just a model trained to a sequence of spots. I don't know f I'd consider the match to be actually good, but it was decent for its time.  Candice's matches on the whole have not aged well, however.



From TNA/IW Gail vs Brooke. Gail was good enough to get people (myself included) to believe that Brooke Tessmacher was a wrestler with a lot of potential.

Gail was really good at this. She did a similar thing with Taryn as well (who does deserve some credit for some of the spots/bumps she did) in terms of really convincing people that she was suddenly a far better wrestler than she had ever showed in the past, or did again.

Not mainstream, but Sara Del Rey was also good at getting decent matches out of anyone. In the early days of Shimmer amongst all the bangers she had she had some OK matches with women that never did anything else notable like Alicia and Ariel. Carryjob is too strong a word to use about her series with Serena, but absolutely elevated her from just another girl into someone that people really believed in.

Melissa was another less mainstream choice like SDR. Just think of her work with someone like Alexa Thatcher, who really didn't go on to do anything significant after her matches with Melissa.

Back to more mainstream picks, Jillian was kind of hit and miss, starting off really strong early in her WWE career and getting progressively worse. She did a lesser version of what Gail did in terms of making people think Kristal had a lot of potential. Beth was also hit and miss her matches with Candice were either decent or not very good at all, but her matches with Kelly in their title feud were mostly solid and she gave Eve a solid match at Vengeance, but then an unremarkable one at Survivor Series. 



Two more modern picks of people who were good at carrying are Bayley and Asuka.  Bayley got good matches out of a green Carmela and Nia Jax, while Asuka did the same with Dana Brooke and Nia Jax, she's also done well with Mandy and Sonya on most occasions.

The Iiconics are carrying the tag team division.... best carry job ever. 

Echoing the mention of Gail - her work in TNA from 2011-2013 was basically go to work and carry much lesser talents, and she did it while shining herself.
