Work (and life?) is buttfucking me so hard.

I'm praying I have energy and mental/emotional bandwidth to knock something out today or tomorrow.

Have rough hastings of buildup blurbs for all matches except the main events. Would've liked to go the extra mile with graphics like you champs, but might end up going the jTjohncenaGOAT route and feeling lucky if I have even just some bold font.

Which would totally defeat the idea of dedicating my first card to the memory of zap.

How much work you put into it is up to you. Some people make a card and let the quality of their draft speak for itself, others have images and backstory and promos and the like. Totally up to you. Me personally, I make the card and put a little blurb under each match for a little bit of extra impact. That’s it. I’m already done mine.

This! But also if not it's cool. I've been running and gunning so I've had no time to do anything yet. I put a card together but then got intimidated by jTjohncenaGOAT's roster and made some changes last night to make it much better. I'm almost certain my first draft would have gotten me eliminated, it would have been like the classic Paul Heyman booking trope where the Champ gets eliminated from a 3/4 Way Dance first, heightening the tension of the rest of the match with the title up for grabs and a guaranteed title change about to go down. But my new card I'm very happy with, I wish I could write this card out matches and all it would be a blast. We're going back to the fucking arena one last final time with this motherfucker. If I"m going out in the first round I'm going out fucking swinging.

I would also prefer the deadline being extended to Friday night.

I usually do this shit at work since it’s easier on a computer. I, like 🤯 can’t be bothered to go on my laptop at home. So this extra time helps. Work been too busy too. Plus, I’m having fun with my DREAMLAND gifs on my spare time.

zap is a name from the past. I miss that guy and his kick-ass graphics.

Got my entry in last night before the extension. No regrets. Gone for a bit of a different approach with formatting this time around. Happy enough with my card and have plans going forward if I’m fortunate enough to make it through. Was a blast to get the writing head on again, that’s for sure.

Speaking of zap, he messaged me on Playstation and asked for the new boards link, but I'm guessing he never signed up. That was at least a month ago, probably longer.

I had him on my PS3 friends list but I don’t think he made it to my PS4 friends. Hope he’s doing well.

Whew. That was exhausting. I went all out for my first round card with two completely different hype jobs for the show. Putting the finishing touches on now.

Exhausting is right. I just wanted to sleep after a rough day at work right when I got home. Then after dinner and an episode of Blacklist with my wife, I could barely keep my eyes open. But I powered through for a good hour and a half and got all my promos written and sent off to RT.

I'm up way later than I'd like considering how early I need to wake tomorrow, but I think it was worth it. Time to sit back, relax, and watch @ness get blown away by my unstoppable card.

I'm not opening any messages until I get all the cards in but knowing how spoiler tags are totally fucked on this site, it's probably something you did when you formatted it.

I just looked at last year's tournament and I didn't even bother with spoiler tags last year when posting because of how much of a headache it caused.
