I'm getting hyped for this now. Looking forward to seeing everybody's cards. Also anxious to see how my own card will be received. I did something completely different this time around. As far as I know, it's something that has never been done in the long and storied annals of PW fan fic. I'll admit I petered out on the second phase of my card. By that point I just wanted to get it over with. But that first phase is something else. Trust me on this...

I’m anxious too , I love my card but I’ve been in a real old school mood lately so that may hurt me overall.

One of my favorite first round cards really though as far as everything making sense goes.

I got my card in at 10:59. Wasn't able to write anything like I had planned though, it's just the match graphics. Without a saturday or sunday in these deadlines I'm toast in this thing!

That's why I started writing my card as soon as I knew that everyone there was left to put on said card was safe. Got that shit in the mailbox before the draft was even OVER.

PW needs it’s own Timezone for clarification in all forums

Man there are some great cards this year, voting is going to be hard. I got to work today so I'll be voting on my phone throughout the day when I can. Everybody brought their A game this year for sure.

Some put real effort forward but a lot have the basic down. Hard to say if it factors in. If I face Kid I may need to use a few gifs just so people even look at my card.

Hopefully Brock F5ing the whole island of Japan will speak for itself...

Kind of the same thing here.  Had a bad case of poison ivy all last week and during holiday weekend. So I had time for the draft and to get my ideas together.  This past week was all about catching up on things that should have been done the week before and the regular stuff.  Just no time.  I submitted my card with hopes of writing something up, but never got around to it.

Just to be clear RT;

If the polls stand, will it be me versus @ness next round or do the opponents get randomized again? I’m down for whatever, but I just want to know what to mentally prepare for.

The other big shame about the old forum being dead is that I can't go back and read any of Holzhammer's short feds.

Barring a last minute surge of wives, cousins and neighbor kids I'm moving onto round 2. A little worried as I figured my card would be met with WTF is wrong with this guy vibes. And that may not be enough to carry me past my next opponent as the novelty of my crazy universe just may not stand up to the 2002 geocities themed animated gifs that is Kid. Should I fight fire with fire by doing the same? Stick with what I've got planned?

Either way I'm saddened my card didn't appeal to my rd 2 opponent since I had a match take place in the Serengeti!

What if your next card is your LAST card and by default becomes plausible?

I'm going to give a little more time for Round 2 since the Round 1 deadline had to be pushed a bit. Thinking the deadline is going to be Sunday afternoon. I'll tag everyone and post for sure once the steals are done and all that stuff.

RT, great draw. Been a while since went one on one in one of these things. I'm going away on Thursday night for like six nights, so the pressure is on. Going to have to get my entry written and sent by Wednesday midnight. Best put my thinking cap on and come up with a card.
