In Wisconsin we have a video rental chain that has started selling CBD oils.  I get it, they are grasping at streams of revenue as their business model is dying.  But do you really trust a company that hasn't given up to Redbox and Netflix?  Speaking of which, when will netflix have what amazon prime does and allow me to rent movies online?


Is there a point where putting in CBD in everything or on everything that it discredits the credibility? I get it, it works for you. But healing crystals work for some people too. So does prayer. But is there a limit to it? When does it just become companies just trying to profit off of the trend?  

In Penn and Tellers Bullsh!t they mention the disdain of people passing up on proven medical treatment in favor of snake oil and faith healers. CBD oil is coming to that to me.

The Video Ezy in my area closed down years ago, so I started going to Blockbuster. It closed down a year or more ago and the writing was definitely on the walls.

You could get all dvds for $1,Blu-Ray $2 or 100 DVD’s for $50 in their dying days.

There’s a new local video store in my area, the two brothers that run it
give me the impression it’s a money laundering scheme 😒.

It's amazing how an experience can be completely recreated.... I remember wandering around a video store aimlessly seeking inspiration... Now I do that with Netflix, scroll aimlessly for 45mins before choosing something I really have no interest in.

In my area:
Video Ezy - now Bakers delight
Blockbuster - now Nandos
Independent little store - lasted the longest, now a mortgage broker.

A few of our smaller shopping malls have dvd rental vending machines.
I see people use them regularly, they just have new releases and I think they're awesome... Because they let me know what is available to torrent in good quality *pirate emoji*

I tried CBD. I got none of the claimed effects. I find it interesting that people assume marijuana treats everything with no side effects and that they are getting completely objective information and not simply being manipulated to open a potential billion dollar market. Of course mention this and you get attacked as a member of big pharm, despite the fact that big pharm are the people pushing for deregulation of these drugs in the first place...

Anyway for people using it should def look at your ALT and ULN numbers. Also do not mix it with Depakote. It can cause liver problems alone, but if mixed with Depakote is can really fuck up the liver.

I have a bunch of friends who swear on CDB oil.  I tried it.  I didn't see the results.  Now tee tree oil.  I put that shit on everything.  :lol:
