In bold are games that weren't included on the Super Nintendo Mini. I've been enjoying the NES Service, I've put a lot of hours into Dr. Mario but it's nice to see more inclusions. Some of them feel like they're included for the sake of variety, but there are some deep cuts that were unlucky not to be included on the SNES Mini. I'm especially curious to check out Pilotwings. I grew to enjoy the N64 edition, so I'm curious to see it's origins.

Lots and lots of ports. I'm happy to see Xenoblade and Tokyo Mirage Sessions get another chance. I missed out on the Wii Version of Xenoblade and the 3DS version while impressive made a lot of concessions to fit the hardware. As somebody who had a fantastic time with Xenoblade 2, I'm happy to jump right back into the first. I did find it odd that they skipped X, but from what I gather, X set itself up for a sequel so I presume they'll release it closer to X-2. I bought TMS on Wii U on a pretty good deal about two years ago and barely played a second of it. The SSB:U stuff was all good and I should mention that they've announced another season of characters which should hopefully see a few more fan favourites make the cut. C'mon Goku, Naruto, Luffy, Scorpion and Kratos. In all seriousness, as long as we get more Sakurai previews and more reveal trailers like the Terry Bogard (those SNK graphics) I'm all in.

I thought it was a pretty good Direct for the most part.
The best part for me was, of course, the SNES games coming to Nintendo Switch Online announcement. I mean sure, about half the games that are initially a part of it, were also on the SNES Classic but when we're talking Super Mario World, and of course A Link to the Past, I'm more than OK with it. I would use this as an excuse to play through SMW again if only I hadn't done so a few months ago.
I'm not super familiar with Terry Bogard, but man that announcement video was pretty cool. I also like the fact that they plan on bringing more fighters to Smash, beyond the initial five fighter season pack.
Two new Galar region Pokemon were revealed, the bluebird (Cramorant), being the better of the two IMO. Speaking of Game Freak related games, I'll probably pick up Little Town Heroes next month, just because it'll be interesting to play a game by them, that isn't Pokemon.

Amazing the characters keep coming. I really bought it like a dumb mark that Piranha Plant was the final piece.
