I'm sure we had a similar thread over on the old PW but it was a while back.
Anyway, simple question, how much WWE do you watch? As in weekly shows, PPVs, network stuff etc?
For me, these days, very little. I'm a little sad about it to be honest because I always remember when I was younger, and even a few years ago, I would always be of the mindset that wrestling is something I'd enjoy and never lose interest in, but sadly it has happened. Not completely, I read the results of RAW and SmackDown every week and I keep tabs on Drew McIntyre in NXT. I still read some news sites to see what is going on and if there is something that interests me, I'll try and catch it. I try and record RAW every week and usually fast-forward through it and catch any segments that catch my interest but I'll rarely watch a full match anymore.
I did try and get back into WWE lately. I watched WrestleMania (which I still plan to do yearly) and then started just RAW again weekly. Some of it I enjoyed but a lot of the current product fails to interest me despite certain characters being enjoyable (Alexa, AJ etc). I watched for a few weeks but then stopped again as I found it hard to make the time for it. That said, time I spent doing other things could've been spent watching RAW but I opted not to.
I can easily drift back in and out though. As I say, I'm abreast of what is happening on the shows, so I can watch WrestleMania & whenever WWE come to Glasgow, I try and go. I went to RAW last year here and there is a live event on Wednesday that I bought tickets for. I'm unsure of my passion for it will ever return as I've watched WWE since I was very young and I've seen times when the product was far worse than it is now but I enjoyed it still.
I have the Network too. I'll rarely stick on a full PPV to watch but I enjoy the other shows on there (Table for 3 and shows of that ilk).
What about you guys? Do you watch everything WWE produces or just a little?

5-7 hours a week. Closer to 10 when it's a PPV week.

I'll watch segments from Raw/SD!/NXT depending on the performer. Never live. I skip 205.
I watch Bellas/Divas.
So in a week assuming we get a reality show... 2 hrs tops.

Usually a few hours a week. Life/work sort of gets in the way of being able to sit down and watch scheduled programming. RAW/Smackdown, doesn't exactly get prime time in Australia. If I'm home on the weekend, I'll watch the RAW/Smackdown replay - however, I rarely see Smackdown.
Thanks to the marvel of the WWE Network, I'll watch the PPVs and NXT.
So, all up, maybe 2-3 hrs a week on average. A PPV week might make 6.

45 minutes.
I turn on SD on my DVR and skim through it on FF. Might stop it for an occasional match that looks interesting.
That's it. WWE is on the bottom of my list of good quality wrestling.

4 to 5 average. I never watch the E! shows. Add additional hours for PPVs, TakeOvers, and network specials.

No where near as much as I used to, I rarely watch Raw and Smackdown these days, so pretty much NXT and occasionally WWE Experience which is a one hour weekly show that recaps both Raw and smackdown, so I can still keep up to date going into PPV's.
I suppose also Total Divas, especially with Alexa Bliss on the show now, which finally returns this Wednesday, if I'm not mistaken.

I get my WWE fix by watching the one hour of NXT every week, and the TakeOvers. I only watch main roster WWE if a promo/match is highly praised or if Brock Lesnar is wrestling.

I keep up with the main roster product depending on what's going on. I like popping the party threads. I frequently check out both shows for AJ Styles, The New Day The Sheild and The Usos. NXT is the best going,

I watch RAW, SD/205 if I’m home (it comes on, on my day off). very rarely watch NXT, I hate the crowd reactions.
Always watch PPV’s without fail though.

Of the current product? Maybe an average of a half hour every two months. I'm so disconnected and have been for so long. I mainly causally keep tabs via PW.

Just to add to my opening post. I used to watch RAW and SmackDown every week between like 2008-2010 and then it moved exclusively to RAW and PPVs but I'd watch bits and pieces of SmackDown.
Do you guys who are disconnected or don't watch a lot, want to watch more? I still enjoy wrestling. Part of me would like to get back into it like I did and I don't know if its just the current product that I'm not as much a fan of or just that I am older now and am less inclined to watch the stuff I'd normally enjoy a few years ago.
I ordered a big pizza and lots of other things and made a point of sitting down and warching WrestleMania the day after without knowing any results (other than coming across the Hardys and #ThankYouTaker posts). Sounds silly but I look back fondly on doing that because it sort of brought me back to how I used to be with it.

WWE is not the same thing i grew up with and i hate the current product. my kids dont even like it, but we'll watch classic WWE for hours on the Network. my stepson calls it 'back when wrestling was cool' I'm much happier watching indies and Impact wrestling. I keep up with WWE but im not fussed if i happen to miss a show or two. lot of times i forget about the shows until i see a party thread posted here.

I'm not interested in watching WWE, probably for good unless it seriously changes. But I keep up with NJPW and watch some older wrestling from time to time.

WWE was a genius with launching the Network. I think I might still be signed up, and feel like I'll never remember or be brave enough to cancel. The nostalgic draw of the stuff I loved growing up, plus a vague to desire to research past greatness that I missed out on, will likely keep $9.99 flowing outta my pocket in perpetuity. Even though I never actually make time to utilize the Network for this.
And yet it all serves to keep me hooked enough that those current PPVs are only a click away. So if Brock is doing something that's THAT interesting (like squashing Cena, or finally getting his win back over Goldberg) it's probable that I'll tune in.
Really, what a genius move by WWE.

About 2 hours per year when it comes to modern stuff.
And maybe an average of an hour or two per week when it comes to old stuff. Sometimes more. Sometimes less. It varies depending on my mood.

I watch all the network specials and NXT shows. I rarely ever watch RAW and Smackdown without some HEAVY skippage. I can run through an entire 3 hour episode of Raw in about 45 minutes usually. It really is to the point now where you can just go on youtube and get the highlights. Never watch 205 Live.
The Network is still a strong platform though. So much content to go back and relive and bring you back to some funner times in pro wrestling.

Zero hours and that includes NXT. These days I just follow along the news sites, twitter, and PW. Every time I decide that I want to watch, I realize that I could be watching something else that is much shorter and isn't as hard to get through. It's a shame because most of my favorite wrestlers now work in WWE, but their writing is so off-putting.

I gave up on Impact and I was a hold out! It's GWF now and I don't even recognize it. Back when AJ and Roode and guys like that were around (Yes, I do not blame them for going to the E) it had a special feel. Hell, Eric Young was different. I just don't see any appeal in the company now. Jarrett just boned the whole thing that he created after Dixie boned it halfway!

Not enough.
Truth is, if I could I'd watch every hour of Pro Wrestling I can get my hands on. Unfortunately life is too short and there is no way I'd be able to do that and enjoy a rich and fulfilling life.
However, I admire the energy of a live performance and I'm blown away by the level of talent on display. It was only 7 years ago when NXT was a talent show and the WWE was relying heavily on a Kane/Undertaker program to draw interest in the product. If you had have told me at the time that in the future AJ Styles, Kevin Steen, El Generico, Claudio Castignoli, Chris Hero, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Tyler Black, Jon Moxley, Brodie Lee, Roderick Strong, Future Shock, Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins, Akira Tozawa, Samuray Del Sol would be regulars and would be supported by the other talent on the show, I would have given anything to watch it.
We're spoiled for choice and while the WWE may not always give us what we want, they still give the fans plenty.
The beauty of the profession right now is, if you don't like the WWE, there are a ton of wonderful promotions you should check out. NJPW is going through a golden age where even their worst shows still have amazing action. You've got PWG on the West Coast that has some of the hottest acts across the world meeting and giving fans a sample of all the top trends in Pro Wrestling. In Mexico you have CMLL constantly producing amazing wrestlers who are magnificent at their craft and can do it all. I haven't seen it yet, but The Crash seems like a promotion worth checking out if you get the opportunity. Then there's CWF fans for fans like me who like teams like The Revival and enjoy the old school, work a body part style of match.
If you can't appreciate Pro Wrestling and the amount of access you have to it, then maybe Pro Wrestling isn't for you. Maybe you've grown out of it, or maybe Pro Wrestling is simply a reminder of simpler times. If that's the case, there's the WWE Network, YouTube or Daily Motion that has a wonderful collection of 80s/90s stuff. I doubt everyone has seen it all, or remembers all of it clearly, so there's always an incentive to check it out.
Personally I'm at a stage of my fandom where I enjoy peeking behind the curtain. I enjoy learning about the exploits of the performers and what they got up to while they were entertaining millions on a weekly basis. They're fascinating people and I really enjoy listening to guys like Edge & Christian, Raven and Chris Jericho - guys who entertained me when I was younger, continue to entertain me in a different format.

The wrestling landscape is so vast these days that I find it impossible to watch as much as I would like. Especially with the never ending spew of quality audio entertainment and things like OSW reviews taking up a lot of weekly hours.. Currently I'm a few eps behind on NXT and 205, but intend to catch up before Takeover.
I watch PPV's. All of em. I take advantage of the Network and watch a lot of old stuffs or random matches that pop into my head as well as the Ride Alongs and Table for 3 shows. Love that the old guard get to catch a pay day (and a hearty meal) while catching up with old friends.
I don't really watch Raw or SD! but will occasionally devote the necessary hours to catch a full show. I still definitely keep up with affairs via show write ups and YT clips, but the WWE wrestling fix I get from nXt, 205 and PPV's is more than enough for me. Other promotions I watch when I can are NJPW, PWG, Chikara and NJPW, but LU is actually my current favourite thing in wrestling. Sadly who knows what the f#@k is happening over there, but I guess that's for another thread.
With the extreme amount of wrestling brilliance out there from numerous amounts of promotions and sources there is one thing I won't be doing, and that's dwelling on crap wrestling. There's far too much to enjoy to worry about the bullshit.
Still a proud WrestleAddict.

Brilliant post. Lots of good points. That is one thing I've never really done is follow any other wrestling company. I tried to get into TNA a few times and when I was younger and would watch pretty much any wrestling that was on in the UK, then I'd put TNA on if it was on but I never got into it as much. WWE was my thing, being a WWE guy was something I was proud of. Even now, I can't really delve into any other promotion as I just don't find myself getting invested in it. Maybe I'm spoiled by the huge production that WWE is, but I don't appreciate these indie shows in small venues. People will read that and scoff but that is just the way I feel. I understand that the wrestling in these shows is usually outstanding and the quality is usually brilliant but I just can't get myself invested. I went to the live event the other night in Glasgow with Triple H joining The Shield for that night. It was a real throwback to how much I used to love the product and part of me wishes I still did as much. Maybe it does just remind me of simpler times, I don't know but that's usually just what I did. I would go to school, come home, spend hours on PW, watching clips, reading news. I'd buy magazines and I'd watch RAW and SmackDown.
