That's right, because they're on a BYE! So who the hell do I pick on my quest to win 25K on Yahoo's Survival League now?!
Oh, well, I guess I'll take a stroll on....
Yeah, I know, I know, but scooch over mikec , I'm getting in and I'm not leaving this bandwagon. Plus, I went to Sesame Place with my kid and wife (all our first time going) a few days ago and we all loved it. So it's fitting and it's also fitting that we are graced with his presence on Primetime, Sunday Night Football. In what could've been a helluva match up between Mahomes vs Luck has turned into a a game where the Colts might go in without Marlon Mack and TY Hilton.... and of course, without Andrew Luck. So I'm coming in for the Mahomes show. Damien Williams might return this week too for the Chiefs, but to be honest, he shouldn't even be on the field. Shady and Darrell are holding it down. I expect the Chiefs to win by double digits, but I'm expecting it to be fun. Give me the Chiefs winning 38-17.
MNF gives us Baker Mayfield vs Jimmy G and I'm actually fired up for this game, too. The Browns just shut the Ravens beak up last game and hopefully this gets them back on their promised winning ways. pduh should be all fire up for game with hometown fave jImmmy G TOO. Tevin Coleman might be back, giving Shanahan and the Handsome One more weapons to play with. Most importantly, the 49ers could keep their place atop the NFC West with another win here. I'm going to go with the Browns squeaking out a win here, 27-23. OBJ to go for 300 yards~!
The week starts off with the NFC West showdown between the Seahawks and the Rams who are both 3-1. I'm just super excited to get a good TNF game for once.... unless of course, it's Chicago/GB defensive boring then that would suck. I expect the Rams to have a bounce back game, but how will the short rest in between an embarrassing loss help them? I don't know. Todd Gurley may hate Thursday Night Games as he went public and said, but it's time to run the game through him and out of the hands of that overrated beach boy, Jared Goff. Russell Wilson will keep it close, but in the end, the Rams have more weapons and pull off a 30-17 victory.
Then there's other awesome games on tap for the week. UT and his Packers (minus Davante possibly) have to travel to Texas to face the Dallas Cowboys who couldn't beat a Brees-less Saints team last week. What a shame. However, if Adams sits, the Packers stand no chance. Lucky ass Cowboys team. They're literally lucking out with the first quarter of their schedule and it's disgusting!
Arizona faces Cincinnati in a game where SOMEONE MUST WIN.... or Arizona will have another tie....?!
Kirk Cousins goes to Met Life Stadium to face Danny Dimes and try and respond to the negative criticism he has received after this dud of a start to the season. Danny Dimes looks to go 3-0 as a starter and continue giving Big Blue hope.
We travel to London with the Bears and the Raiders. We get the return of Melvin Gordon as the injury depleted Chargers take on the winless Broncos. The Buccaneers look to pull off back to back upsets as they face Teddy and the Saints in a huge division game. The Texans take on the Falcons in what should be a shootout. We get Minshew vs McCaffrey~! Mono vs Wentz~! Bills vs Titans~! Ravens vs Steelers~!
AND.... Jay Grudens final game as a HC of Washington against New England. Did you see this fool say he has no plan for who their QB is next week? That's ridiculous. That sounds like a man who knows that he is about to coach his final game. ANYWAYS..... IT'S TUESDAY, BUT I CAN'T WAIT FOR THURSDAY~! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOOOOOOOOOTBALL?!

How Darnold is probably not going to play and how Wentz is going to throw for 3 TDs and 300 yards and the Eagles were going to win 27-7? Week 6 is where its at for the Jets. Darnold and Herndon reunite. A stunning win against Dallas followed by a MNF showdown against the Patriots~! Maybe then we'll talk, even if it's about them being 0-6.

Why does Pete Carroll hate his runners? Carson is having a fucking game and you don’t give him the ball on 4th and 1? And you give LA field position and they score. What the fuck.

#15 looked like he could have got 5-10 more yards before he had to go out of bounds, with 15 seconds left, he rushed it.

Russell Wilson is the MVP for me at this point of the season. Numbers he produces with weapons he has is so much more impressive what Mahomes is doing.

I'm speechless. Weakest roughing call all season. Not surprised it's on Clay Matthews, refs hate him. They may very well have a 5 and 15 yard penalty for roughing the passer because I don't care what you think, that isn't the equivalent yards wise as what Myles Suh has been doing this year. 5 is for a minor hit like a swipe to the QBs helmet since it's unintentional and most are just trying to tip the ball or whack it out of the QBs throwing posture, 15 is for the severe ones like slamming a QB to the ground after the ball is gone to try and take them out of the game. They did this back in the day for a facemask, they need to incorporate it for these roughing the passers because some of these calls are absolute gifts. Running into the Punter/Kicker vs Roughing the Punter/Kicker sort of new rule needs to be done for this. This and the "Need to win 2 challenge flags to get to challenge again" need to be fixed ASAP. Unreal how they do so many damn changes but these 2 haven't been explored. Nonsense.

I fucking knew he threw Haskins in to fail last week. Haskins is a BUST and I've called it since draft day. EJ Manuel 2.0. I bet OriginalHigga was pumped to get Haskins, but dude sucks.

Clay Matthews is having an AWESOME year, by the way. I know UT misses him. UT misses Clay about as much as a kick in the balls. He really didn't fit into the Packers defensive scheme. Clay is a pure attacking defender, while Green Bay requires their linebackers to cover and contain, two things Clay does not do well. But with the Rams he fits like a glove. Donald needed a good clean up man by his side, and Clay fits that bill better than most.

I don't think it's fair to call Haskins a bust based on one game. Not to mention Jay Gruden is notorious for throwing QB's to the wolves when he is not in favor of them. Even to the point of sabotaging them with bad play calls.

I'm bored and got 40 minutes left at work so I'm just going to go for it.
After failing to predict the Rams/Seahawks game correctly, I have a few things to say. Yes; Goff sucks. I'm 100% for that statement. However, they didn't lose the game because of him. They were in position to win and Greg the Leg missed. Their defense needs to step it up, especially Talib who was playing extremely lazy in that game. Russel Wilson would me front runner for MVP if not for Mahomes. I still think the Rams are the better team and think they'll avenge this loss in their 2nd match up and win this division, but the NFL needed that. Shit just got exciting.
I already picked Chiefs and Browns to win their upcoming primetime games, so let's make some quick predictions on the other games.
Oakland to 'STUN THE WORLD' in London; to win 13-10 - I'm going right to a hot take. I've had this prediction ever since I did my pre-season predictions. I said weird shit always happens in London. I said somehow, some way the Raiders would find a way and here it is. Chase Daniels is the starter. This is going to be an ugly game for both offenses. Khalil Mack is going to get 3 SACKS and a forced fumble in this game. The Bears will score a defensive TD and a FG and LOSE! It will be 10-6 Bears and Mr. Carr will find a way to lead his team down field with some unbelievable plays. He will hit Darren Waller for the game winning 27 yard TD with under 30 seconds to go as Waller will run through some blood hungry Bears for the score. Chase Daniel will fail to get them in FG range in the closing seconds and the Raiders leave London shocking victors. The Bears head into their BYE week with more questions then answers.
The Patriots stay undefeated by shutting out Washington 38-0; Jay Gruden is fired after the game - The New England Patriots remain the best D in the NFL. They go another game without giving up a passing TD and absolutely destroy Colt McCoy and the Redskins. Tom Brady throws for 3 TDs to 3 different receivers. Sony Michel runs for 100 yards and a score and the defense ends the game with a pick 6. New kicker Mike Nugent goes 1/1 for FG's and 5/5 on XP. After the game, Jay Gruden is immediately fired and the Redskins prep for the 'Tua Bowl' next week against Miami.
Kirk throws for 4 TDs, outshines Danny Dimes; you like that?! - The Minnesota Vikings make easy work of the Giants in this one. The countdown to Barkley begins as Danny Dimes has his worst start of his career throwing 2 interceptions and fumbling the ball. He throws for 1 TD to Evan Engram in garbage time, but the game is already over. Kirk Cousins answers all the critics, including his teammates, as he tears it up on the field. He throws 2 TDs to Thielen, 1 to Diggs and even gets a dump off pass to Dalvin Cook that goes to the house for his 2nd TD of the game. It's a no contest as the Vikings win 45-10.
Minshew Mania continues; Jags survive Panthers on GW FG - The Jaguars go into their 2nd straight game without Jaylen Ramsey and decide that if they want to win the game, they're going to have to stop CMC. So they do, keeping CMC to under 100 total yards and only 1 TD. In the battle of two young QBs, Allen leads the Panthers downfield and puts the Panthers up by 1 with a pass to Samuel completing his 225 yard, 2 TD day. With 90 seconds to go, Minshew leads his 'cats' onto the field and drives them down field setting up a GW 48 FG that is drilled by Josh Lambo as time expires. Josh Lambo goes a perfect 4/4 from FG's, all 40+ yard ones. The story of the day is MinshewMania continuing, even though he ends the game with ZERO passing TDs but nobody remembers that. They only remember the clutch throws that got them into FG range. The Jaguars win 19-17 and are suddenly 3-2!
Winless no more.... but not Cincinnati - The Bengals fail to win this one, but Arizona picks up their first win of the season improving to a decent 1-2-1 mark. This game is a shootout with tons of TDs and turnovers. Kyler Murray has a career day throwing for 368 yards, 3 TDs and a rushing TD. David Johnson goes for 200 all purpose yards. Dalton throws 4 TDs but 2 interceptions in this game and Arizona pulls off the 45-38 victory. The Bengals, Redskins and Dolphins just flat out suck.
Teddy Bridgewater outlasts Jameis Winston; Saints win 23-17 in OT - In another game where offenses stall in Nawlins, their defense makes a hell of a stand keeping this game close. The Buccaneers have a chance to win the game before regulation, but Gay misses a 54 yard FG. The Saints win the cointoss and it takes 2 plays for Bridgewater to finally have his moment as he hits Ginn for a GW 70 yard TD. Here's a little secret; that TD is all Ginn with 59 YAC. Saints survive this game and remain in control of their division. How will Bridgewater fare against MinshewMania the next week?
Eagles Fly, Jets Fale(s); Philly wins 27-7 - The score should really be worse, considering Sam Darnold is not playing, but I'll give the Jets some pity here. They'll somehow hold the Eagles to only 27 points. Bell is held under 100 yards, this game is a brutal watch for Jets fans and the Eagles get a much needed win.
NUK and JULIO steal the show; Texans win 38-34 - This one will be a treat for all fans of offense and fantasy football owners. Matt Ryan and Deshaun Watson are going to feast in this game. Julio and Nuk will combine for 400 yards in this game and 4 TD's. Deshaun Watson leads the Texans downfield for the GW TD to Nuk as he gets over the 200 yard mark on that final catch. Matt Ryan is strip sacked with under a minute left by Mercilus as he continues his dominance and the Texans win this slobberknocker.
This is all the time I have as this took a lot longer then I expected thanks to annoying people at work, but you get the idea right?
IT'S ALMOST SUNDAY AND SUNDAY IS THE DAY OF FOOTBALL~!!!!!

I'm not sure what to think of the Packers/Cowboys game , I mean on one hand Rodgers has went in there with worse teams and is undefeated in AT&T stadium - on the other hand missing Adams is huge this year while the offense still finds it's consistency. Dallas has a good defense so Rodgers improvising is going to have to carry a ton of the load offensively.
On defense we better shore up some shit in the running attack or Zeke is going to set records. Dallas is banged up on the line too and didn't show up in New Orleans last week so maybe the Packers can slow them down as well. It all starts up front though - secondary ain't going to matter if our front seven can't take over that side of the ball.
I'll take the Packers 20-17 but it could go either way really.

Enough of Gase I've seen enough. He might actually be the most predictable play caller I've ever seen. He just runs with one player Bell the whole time and that's that. 3rd and inches and will.not bother to do a qb sneak.
This is far worse than Schottenheimer.
