So I just preorder the new SpiderMan game I was debating since last night to preorder spiderman or call of duty Cold War but since Cold War dint have a release date for PS5 and I want SpiderMan game more I preorder the SM game plus I use my $20 coupons from best buy for it too

We're only a couple of weeks away from launch and publications are beginning release unboxing and demo videos. Not a terrible lot to gleam just yet other than Astro's Playroom is a fun tech demo that really highlights the haptick feedback in the controller. I was watching the Layman video and they were blown away by how realistic it felt zipping up a jacket.
Otherwise it still seems like early days. I'm curious to see what the launch of PlayStation 4 Pro and X Box One Series X has on the feedback. No doubt they'll sell pretty well especially with Covid and people spending more time at home, but I wonder if they'll be blown away or if it'll take a couple of years for the generation to seperate itself.

I just learn that if you preorder from Amazon and if you change the shipping speed it will change to the estimate delivery date which my is on launch date so I change my lol

 Go figure Demons Souls comes in today but Miles Morales in which I ordered the same exact time of is set for 11/18 and I still have no date of when PS5 will drop so I am basically holding onto this game practically taunting me.

Picking up mine Thursday morning, was very lucky at the store I ordered it from didn’t guarantee your order on launch day unlike EB games. I’ll probably just get Cold War as the first game though it’s not annoying that it comes out the day after. I’m assuming PS5 does the pre-load stuff as well? I’d get Demon’s Souls (why can’t it be DEMON SOULS) but I don’t want my first game to be something I’ll rage quit on if it’s my only game at first 😂. $125 for games at launch sucks though .

Watched Demon Souls play all day - The game looks absolutely amazing. The people playing Demon Souls said they could not show off Mile Morales yet, but said that game was amazing as well.

Costco has some available online but they're only selling the hard drive version bundled with Spider-Man and a controller. It's like $850 and I'm not paying that. I don't want a hard drive. I could get the digital version, Spider-Man an extra controller and 12 months of PS Plus for way less than that.

It has been a real war of patience but FINALLY my PS5 coming to me this Sunday via Target. Already have Demons Souls and Miles Morales is coming soon but I just need a damn system to be around to play it!

Not in Canada as far as I can tell. They posted a blanket statement saying they were sold out and didn't provide any updates. I'm annoyed too because my wife went to their website at 8am (when they went on sale) and she had one in her cart, but when she hit checkout it said it wasn't available anymore. I gave up waiting on EB Games too. They posted on twitter that they're having issues due to high demand and every reply is people complaining they either got kicked from the site, or it crashed, or they were out of stock and got thrown back in the queue. Whatever. I'll wait a couple weeks and try again. Would like to have one by Christmas but if not oh well. Our big family gift this year might be an IOU. :lol:
