Loving these 🤯 stream of consciousness hot takes. 5 episodes in one day is very impressive. Even I, NWA fan extraordinaire, never watched more than 2 episodes in a single day.

Agree with you about the ugliness of the National Championship. I saw somebody refer to it as “the fancy placemat” and that sounds about right to me.

They definitely started out doing the shades of gray thing. That’s usually a pretty big ass red flag for me but they mostly made it work. Corgan himself said something to the effect of “good people will sometimes do bad things and bad people will sometimes do good things.” Even the ultimate NWA Powerrr babyface Tim Storm did a blatant low blow (in the very first episode, no less!). It does become a little more traditionally face/heel by Episode 10 though.

No idea what the fans were chanting those times but it definitely wasn’t “can’t complain” lol

Joe Galli really is an Emmy award winning reporter based out of San Antonio. I was as shocked as you no doubt are by this truth.

The commercials were definitely a highlight of the early episodes and I too want to visit Paducah, KY. PW road trip? Austin Idol really does have a wrestling school! The rest are “fake.”

Agree on Allysin Kay having the best finisher in NWA and most of their wrestlers having less than stellar physiques.

Also agree this thread needs to be stickied and Nick Aldis being the man.....until he isnt. Keep watching and you’ll see what I mean.

Colt/J. Storm and Aldis/T. Storm were my favorite Powerrr matches up to the poin you are at.

Tennessee Santa is totally the Hat Guy of NWA Powerrr.
