Omega doesn't deserve to be in that match with his record. Gotta start winning a match or two

If I'm gonna guess, it'll be the Inner Circle vs. The Rhodes', and The Bucks next week.

It feels so weird to accomplish nothing while watching wrestling. Usually if I watch wrestling it's background noise, today I was watching start to finish.

Tag opener was all sorts of high paced high flyin great. Surprised with the win, both teams looked great. Awesome stuff.

The Havoc/Allin match was fine. I think Darby is going to be much bigger than Havoc. Next week should be a fun match against jericho.

I don't care what some people say (ahem, RT) I think the womens division is great, when Bea and Britt get in the ring one on one (at full gear?) it's gonna be great.

Moxley vs Spears was great, and the main event was great. Post match finish was a fun cluster fuck and sold next week great.

During the show I had two people I used to watch wrestling with in high school messaging me about how awesome this show was, and they didn't need to watch wwe anymore. The consensus easy description was 'feels like attitude era with great wrestling'

Just finish watching AEW. Jericho was an amazing pick up for AEW he really is carrying the show as it's world champion. I couldn't tell it was Pac on commentary until they actually said it. I guess I forgot what he sounds like. He does makes some good points. If wins and loses matter he should be next in line. He is undefeated in AEW and beat the exact two Jericho beat to become a world champion in Omega and Page. I feel if they gave Shawn Spears things to someone else they could be a star. His entrance and manager would make you think I need to watch this guy, but something isn't quite there. Maybe it is the short mohawk.I hate Sammy sticking his tongue out nonstop makes you want to punch him. I guess that is a good thing for a young heel though.

Darby made himself into a credible wrestler in 1 night. Even though next week is just a random title match.

I haven't really commented on the weekly AEW shows yet, but man have I been enjoying them so far. The thing I love about Dynamite is that it feels like must-watch TV, nothing against NXT but if I miss an episode of that, I can always watch it over the weekend on the Network, not so much with AEW.

Private Party/Young Bucks was a pretty fun opener, I half expected the former LAX to cost the Bucks the match, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Private Party pick up the clean win. All Elite has a stacked tag team division, and with the Bucks already eliminated, who I imagine were the odds on favourite to win the tournament, it'll be interesting to see who they go with as the first tag champs.

Like Nazzer, I'm looking forward to the eventual one-on-one matchup, between Britt Baker and Bea Priestley.

Havoc/Allin was an alright matchup, Darby vs. Jericho should be good. Speaking of Jericho, he was unsurprisingly the highlight of this week's show, loved his promo.

I like that Kenny & The Young Bucks are on losing streaks. It will be fun to watch their stories unfold.

The Bucks I believe are setting up to go part time. I see them moving themselves to rallying the crowd and fun matches. Kenny will be interesting to see given I do not think he cares if he wins or loses if it benefits the company. Curious to see how hardcore he goes with Moxley during their match.

this weeks show was a little step backwards from last week but still good. PP and Bucks was good but a little over the top for my taste. The ladies have a ways to go. Jericho is awesome. Really hope be beats Cody at the ppv. Overall a good show.

Omega and Mox are going to get intertwined with PAC/Cody/Jericho over the title, I think.

PAC spent most of his time on commentary sulking about the fact that there are now two #1 contenders ahead of him even though he’s undefeated and believes he’s better than anyone. He claimed that the win/loss thing was a joke because he’s not fighting for the title any time soon.

As he’s saying that, Omega and Mox are trying to kill one another and getting the crowd amped up. PAC hits Omega with a chair out of jealousy and leaves.

I’m smelling a triple threat match at Full Gear for the #1 contendership.

PAC claims he deserves it most.
Mox reminds PAC he’s also undefeated and doesn’t go around bitching about it.
Omega gets in because he’s Omega and he’s mad at PAC.

Could also lead to PAC claiming that Omega and Mox get special treatment because of their past.

Jake Hager doesn't fit with Jericho's group in my opinion. At least not the way they are presenting him. Good on Jericho for burying the We The People chant, but the Hager they are presenting is the same super serious version of Swagger who was doing all that "We The People" shtick so...eh.

Bucks vs Private Party was pretty fun. Similar in style to Bucks vs Lucha Bros from Double or Nothing, but with a much reduced match time, not allowing them to take it to beyond ridiculous levels. Still not my style, but it's palatable in small doses.

The rest was OK. Nothing spectacular, but they are putting on a compelling enough product and developing their stories nicely.

Jericho's promo was so good I bought into the faction. I agree it looks jarring but Jericho sold me. I haven't heard a promo like that in years. Maybe all the wrestlers should be fed cocaine before taking a live mic.

Emperor Maybe the fact Hager is wearing a polo top like a boomer on a Sunday.

The one thing AEW has excelled at so far is putting together an all-in brawl to close the show. It's reminiscent of the Monday Night Wars and for whatever reason, had become something of a dead art until AEW brought it back. They can't do it on every show, but that was a great way to build to next week's show and that's what AEW has to do to retain fans - they need hooks. Somebody also needs to teach Darby how to throw a punch. Even Shane McMahon would have been laughing in his boxers at that.

I was worried how the Young Bucks were going to book themselves given they dwarf the rest of the tag team roster by a considerable margin. The only team that really comes close is the Lucha Bros and they can't keep squaring off on every PPV. The decision to use them to elevate LAX and Private Party is smart and makes the scene far more interesting as a result.

I still think it's going to take the show some time to find it's groove. They're making up for lost time, but you can see that everybody from the guys in the ring, to production to commentary are figuring things out on the fly.
