I think it was terrible honestly. There's minimal contact and if anything it's the receiver that initiates it because Heyward had better position. 

Perfect example of why PI as a spot foul is stupid. Make it 15 yards like in college and you don't have a judgement call like that decide a game.

I could care less about either team but that wasn’t even close to a good call and the refs have decided yet another game. If Denver did this against Green Bay you’d be fine with that weak ass call? Really?

Brady off to a really ordinary start here - no excuses with the weather for him this week. Hopefully that interception gets the Texans going because their offence hasn't exactly come out flying either.

He cut off his route and didn’t look for the ball. It’s pretty textbook.

If Heyward had better position he would have made a play on the ball. He didn’t , he was only trying to cut off the receivers route.

Had he turned his head than maybe.

Cut off the route is the line from the rules that Riveron used to defend it (which I think is pretty bogus - the defender should be able to run in a straight line to hold his position) but he definitely looked back for the ball - twice in fact. I actually think he has a good chance to intercept the ball before Sutton runs into his back.

It’s not bogus it’s always been a rule and was a pretty obvious call.

Well Brady’s decline is front and center tonight. One of the more overlooked things in the NFL this year.

I don't consider running in a straight line to defend the boundary cutting off the receivers route. Obviously the receiver is going to try and push towards where the ball is going to land, the DB is supposed to just allow him to do so? That's stupid.

No just try and actually make a play on the ball. That’s it IMO. I’ll agree to disagree though because I was fine with the call as it happened. And contrary to RT and his insight - I’m capable of having an opinion on the play independent of the Packers.

Except it’s been all year and in different ways. He’s flat missing a half dozen passes a game that he’s never missed. But thank you for the Brady history lesson since I just started watching football tonight.

Brady is still capable of making plays when it matters but he’s not even in the Top 10 reasons this Pats team is 10-1 and that’s something you could have never said about the Pats in the past.

I have been talking about the Patriots offense being blah for awhile now. That D has kept them in every game and won a lot.

The Patriots aren’t dumb enough to lose to KC. They’ll just run the ball forty times.

It seems to all come down to chemistry - Brady only has trust with Edelman and he hasn't been able to get things going with any of the other guys all season. Occasionally there are some flashes that he might be getting things together with Dorsett and Meyers but it's usually only isolated to individual drives. Guys like Sanu and Harry that you kind of expected to make an impact have been basically non factors.

Gronk was the thing that made that offense so dynamic over time, he was simply too dominant, completely destroyed how defenses had to approach the game. Brady just had to get it into his vicinity, and he did the rest, even bad passes were completions to Gronk.

You were doubting the signing of Hargreaves and I was saying that getting Roby back from injury would help out their secondary. They're both playing well tonight, and Romeo Crennel is calling a great game.
