Yeah I don’t think he was wide open but Kirk was skiddish and pressing in the pocket on that drive.

He wasn’t extremely wide open but he was there for the first down where he could’ve put it in his hands and boom. That’s exactly what happened and yes Cousins was bouncing all over the place on that last drive. Dude needs to chill out.

Bummed he didn’t get another chance.

PS- Just saw the replay. Mattison would’ve had the first down with ease.

I'm not buying that either. First play was a nice completion to Rudolph, second play looked like a bit of a miscommunication so ultimately not a good throw but not anything to do with pressure, third play was a dump off to Mattison which was well tackled, next was the batted ball at the line which would have likely been complete to Diggs, and then the final throw to Irv Smith was decisive and maybe just slightly off target but could have easily been caught. He plants his feet on every one of those throws though - the idea that the pressure got to him is just totally wrong. 

It's just lazy to make this about Cousins. He played a perfectly solid game and handled adversity well. Lost his LT at half, lost his starting RB, already without one of his starting receivers, got absolutely boned by a terrible call on that non-PI. It's ESPNriffic to boil everything down to him.

Even before he sets his feet though he’s frantic. That one wasn’t a bad read I don’t think as much as he just sailed the past.

It is what it is. Overall he played a good game and just took a couple bad bounces in the second half but I don’t think he played in control on that final drive , even compared to the final drive of the first half.

I’m not blaming the loss on Cousins but he is now 0-8 on MNF.

I almost feel bad for him in this game. He did everything in his power to win and the defence gave up 37 points and 500 yards. But at the same time, it’s Prime Time Seattle. They’re almost invincible in that situation.
