Most greats have switched teams though.
Montana to KC.
Rice to Oakland.
Randy Moss and TO to several places.
Bret Favre to several places.
It’s not the most jarring thing in the world.

I say the Raiders. They’re going to get either TB12 or Cam to open up Vegas with.

I'm not sure where Brady ends up, but I doubt he stays in NE. He has no weapons and he's tired of it. I'd guess a warmer climate or dome, maybe with a team that has a run game and WR's that get open. Edelman's had his ass kicked the entire season and is really banged up, that leaves White as his only trusted receiver and he's a RB. Brady playing anywhere but NE will be so jarring I won't be able to process it. He should ride out his contract extension and retire. And I'm not just saying that because I'm sick of watching him win. As much as I've hated watching the Patriots dynasty dominate the AFC, I think I'd hate seeing him go somewhere else even more. It's like when Jordan played for the Wizards or Gretzky played for the Blues/Rangers. Just hang it up and count your gazillions of dollars and don't put the fans through that. I agree with you, but this is the BB/Kraft power struggle. BB drafted Jimmy G to replace Brady, but Kraft made BB trade Jimmy G when he wanted to move on from Brady. Now flash forward a couple of seasons, Gronk retires, Brady has less weapons than he's ever had, BB wants to move on, but he's not sure if Stidham is the guy. Brady's a UFA that can't be Franchise Tagged due to the language in his contract. Kraft will want Brady to stay, but BB won't sign a 43 yr old QB...So, as far as I can see...Kraft either lets Brady walk, because he wants to keep playing for a team that's either close to SB ready or fire the best HC in the history of the NFL and watch the entire fanbase turn on him.
