So another year has come and gone , what are your thoughts on this year in women's wrestling and what are your hopes and predictions for next year?
What was your favorite match in 2019? Which female wrestler do you think had the best year overall? What was your favorite feud? Overall how do you think 2019 compared to 2018 in WWE and other promotions?
For 2020 Who you want to see be given a chance? Who do you think will actually be pushed? What feuds do you think will happen this year? Will there be another MYC and a Evolution PPPV this year? Who do you want to see get signed by a major promotion in 2020?
As for my answers, my favorite match was Io vs Candice at takeover. I think Tessa Blanchard had the best year overall from a quality standpoint. My favorite feud was Tessa versus Gail. In comparing 2019 to 2018 I found 2018 to be better. 2018 was really boosted by the MYC and Evolution , which 2019 obviously didn't have this made it hard to match 2018 in terms of match quality. The big time matches his year were also not as good as last years with a bunch of main event style matches disappointing.
As for 2020 I'd like to see Ember and Ruby come back strong from their injuries and get pushed. It would also be cool to see Kairi get pushed as a singles start again and a feud with Asuka when they lose the titles would be great. As for who I actually feel will be pushed that would have to be Shayna, I see her getting a big feud with Becky and potentially win the title, I am not looking forward to those matches. I see a MYC 3 this year but I'm not sure about Evolution 2. As for who I hope gets signed, I see Sareee signing with WWE, I'd like to see Leyla Hirsch get signed somewhere (she'd fit in well with Impact), I'd also like to see AQA and Hyann get a chance, and Thunder Rosa too.

Hard to argue with Io vs Candice. My top 5 would probably be:
1. Io vs Candice 2. Asuka vs Becky 3. Trish vs Charlotte 4. Tessa vs Gail 5. Sasha vs Ronda
Tessa vs Gail is a great shout for best feud. I can't think of anything else that really produced a particularly memorable segment or promo beyond that. Tessa trashing Gail's husband's restaurant was classic.
I really hope that we get both a MYC and Evolution in 2020. It was a big letdown that they didn't happen this year. I'm not too fussed about new signings because there's so many women under contract that we are barely seeing as it is. I want to see more Deonna, Karen Q and Kayden in NXT.

I agree that this year wa slacking in compelling in-ring/backstage segments and promos. The Tessa-Gail sgements were some of the only memorable things out of this year in that area , outside of maybe the start of Sasha's heel turn. While I agree that WWE has signed too many people and needs to use more of what they have, I think other promotions could stand to add a few. I've mentioned before that Impact could stand to inject some new blood into the KO division specifically talents who are younger and more athletic. Basically more Kiera Hogans and Jordynne Graces and less ODBs or Tenilles. AEW could add 1 or 2 prospects like Kriss or Aerial.

Who you want to see be given a chance? Ruby Riott Liv Morgan Sarah Logan Naomi Sonya Deville Peyton Royce and Billie Kay Ember Moon
The tag division needs some more legitimate teams after they stupidly broke up the Riott Squad. I have a hard time seeing Naomi and Ember getting significant singles pushes, so I think putting them together as a team would be a good idea. Naomi and Ember vs. Kairi and Asuka has a lot of potential, and I think Naomi in particular would benefit from working with the Kabuki Warriors.
Dana Brooke, while I don't think she should be given a strong push, would benefit from more consistent usage.
Who do you think will actually be pushed? Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Alexa Bliss.
What feuds do you think will happen this year? Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey
Will there be another MYC and a Evolution PPV this year? I think part of the reason they didn't do another Evolution PPV was because Rousey wasn't around for it, so my guess is it will depend on her 2020 schedule.
Who do you want to see get signed by a major promotion in 2020? Tessa to WWE

Io vs Candice for sure as MOTY, I hope they get bumped to the title picture next year with reigns for both. Hope they get a cool wee ‘callback’ type moment in the Rumble as well.
Next year, Charlotte will pick up a tag title title. Though I’d love to see a cross brand super heel team of Alexa and Charlotte with all the gold, that would involve breaking up Nikki and Alexa which I don’t want.
I suppose by next year we will be able to fully judge the Bayley heel turn.

2020 Taya is very interesting. While I would like to see her stay in Impact. She's pretty much done all there is for her to do there. She'd be a great addition to any roster. If she were to go the E to be with Johnny I'm cool with it. I just hope they don't make too many changes to her character.
It would be nice to see Ivelisse end up somewhere full time.
Christi Jaynes, Alex Gracia, Leyla Hirsch, AQA there are a lot of ladies that deserve a shot
thing I'm looking forward to most in 2020 is Booker T's Ladies Night Out events. Hopefully I'll get to attend 1 or 2 this year.

Definitely the year of The Man, Becky Lynch.
And not for Becky, the majority of the WWE women's division was lacklustre. I'm sick of seeing Charlotte in the spotlight, Nattie boring the place up, Bayley holding Sasha back. And of course Nia Jax and being pushed late in 2018 and hanging around in early 2019 because she's not like most girls. Come on..
Look, bare with me here. We came into 2019 off the heels of Evolution, and as backwards as this sounds, lets promote characters that are actually interesting.
Hopes / Dreams / Predictions :
- I'm interested where they go with Lana & Liv - forgive me for being intrigued considering the umm.. talent. - The Mandy Rose / Otis angle, I'm predicting a HM break up (Tucker sucks) and Mandy falls for the big goof, only for Mandy to sleep with Ziggler. - Scarlett Bordeaux in NXT, do they debut the smoke-show or do they package her as another countless girl power gimmick? - I hope Alexa turns heel, and this little trip into bland babyface-land ends soon. She's much better as a heel, and if it's a case of limiting her wrestling due to injury - turn her into a manager. - Rhea Ripley is about to have a massive year, mark my words. - I see Baszler's booking slowing down, she's 39 years old, and if you're looking for a long term investment, you have her put over Rhea one more time and launch the 23 year old into the stratosphere. - Post-Kai, I hope for Tegan Knox to find a home in NXTUK, and is allowed a year run as the top babyface - purely for experience, then returns to NXT US a contender. A Knox v Storm feud would be nice.

Thunderrr Rosa is definitely getting signed to NXT. It's inevitable. Still, I'm hoping she'll stick with NWA for most of the year. She's clearly the fan's choice when it comes to the NWA women's division. She's destined to be the top face in the division, and a Top 3 or 4 face in the entire company, if she sticks around. Rosa beating Kay for the title and turning face on Melina are potentially awesome things they've been building to for a while that NEED to happen. Anyway, favorite women's wrestler of 2019 is the great Lacey Evans followed by Bianca Belair and then Thunderrr Rrrosa. Best Character: Lacey Evans Best on Interviews: Lacey Evans Best Match I Saw In Extremely Limited Viewing: Becky & Charlotte vs. Asuka & *looks it up* Kairi Sane from Raw about a month ago. 2020 Wish List: All that Thunder Rosa stuff I just wrote about. Lacey Evans becomes a Triple Crown holder by unifying all 3 WWE Women's Championships.

I would have gone a different direction at Hard to Kill. Let Tessa eventually win the X division title, option C, and build up for the Tessa Sami conclusion Sammiversary.

They already didn't pull the trigger on Tessa at Slammiversary and BFG. I would be absolutely shocked if she doesn't win the title at Hard to Kill.
