I can't wait for the Seahawks games , I don't think they are a terrible matchup for us by any means and can be scored on defensively. Wilson also has a pretty shaky history playing at Lambeau and their offensive line is banged up.
Really their offensive line is one of the main reasons why I preferred them , because our defense is at it's best when we can send the Smith brothers crashing in. Teams with good offensive lines can neutralize this entire defense.
Defensively it's a ton of the same. I don't think their defensive line is full of worldbeaters aside from Clowney. Their linebackers are great and worry me in the running game but yeah. If only we had a tight end to capitalize on their biggest weaknesses.
Should be a good game for sure. Early prediciton: Packers 27 Seahawks 20. Both teams know how to make it dramatic.

The Eagles would’ve been a better match up then the Seahawks but nevertheless, Russell Wilson gets to travel to Wisconsin where he’s a legend in his own right and that’s kind of terrifying for a GB fan in my opinion. Especially because the Packers seem to be Jeckyl and Hyde this season. I would NOT be surprised if Seattle wins, but I’m sticking with the Packers here.
My score predictions from this weekend:
Ravens def Titans: 35-17 Chiefs def Texans: 30-27 Packers def Seahawks: 27-23 Vikings def 49ers: 19-17

Maybe with how banged up they are now , but if they had both OT's and Wentz for that game , along with our willingness to let TE's run free ... I'd be a little more worried about them on offense for sure. It doesn't matter though because we don't play the Eagles.
As I said , Wilson might be beloved in Wisconsin but he struggles at Lambeau historically. Even in the Seahawk wins , Wilson has had some of his worst games. Now maybe with Metcalf that changes because we do like to let up the big plays but we will see. If Smith and company are hot than I like our chances.
And personally , we need to stick King on Metcalf with constant help and let Jaire match up one on one with Lockett. He's been great all year and it's time for him to shut someone down in the playoffs. King's size will help with Metcalf but he definitely needs help running with him.

One things for sure when it comes to the 49ers. That game is going to come down to the wire. They always do for them.
Only scary part for Minnesota is if history repeats itself, they’re going to get blown out by SF like they did last time by Philadelphia. So it could easily be a blowout also and SF could win 41-10.

The game opened up with SF as 6.5 point favorites , which is oddly smaller than the Saints line. I’ll take SF all day with that spread as I think they win by a TD.

Pretty stoked for the Niners game this Saturday looks like we may get some guys coming back from injury Ford(we are going to need him.), Tartt, and maybe Kwon which will help our defense.
I’m hoping Mosley starts over Whiterspoon who have been getting torch the last few weeks.

Sorry KING KID , but that other thread and activity more than warranted a new thread being made Epic job in that thread btw, even if you exclude 🤯 posting the same thing over and over during the early Saturday game we had well over twice as many posts as wild card weekend last year! The later Sunday games this week suit me as I'll be able to catch the second half of Texans/Chiefs (not sure why they don't have the same times for wild card Sunday as well?) These four games feel like they all have pretty strong favourites - but there'll surely be at least one upset.

My guess for power rankings. 1. Pete Carroll 2. John Harbaugh 3. Andy Reid 4. Kyle Shanahan 5. Matt Lafleur 6. Bill O'Brien 7. Mike Zimmer 8. Mike Vrabel Really Vrabel last? The guy who just went into Foxborough and out Belichick'd .... Belichick. Vrabel is consistently one of the better coaches in the league since he's come around. I like him. The same can be said for Zimmer , especially at this point. Went into NOLA and upset the Saints and pretty significant Road Underdogs and it was mainly because of his defense shutting down the Saints. Like what the fuck? 1. Harbaugh 8. BOB The rest I'd have to take some time to think about. You do get a nice mix of everything though.

What did the guys say? They drafted them, Hanzus ended up with the 8th pick and launched into a fierce defense of O'Brien claiming the rest of the guys hate him. 😂 O'Brien's record probably does deserve more respect. But when you watch the team it is clear that he is out of his depth. One of the better examples of why you have to look past the numbers. O'Brien is a clear 8 here. Harbaugh at 1 for me, and I'll take Andy Reid at 2 while we wait to see if Shanahan gets it done in a big spot.

I think Reid’s big game history hurts him. That’s a case for Carroll or even some of tbt younger guys who haven’t had the opportunity to fail again and again in similar fashion.

Carroll over Harbaugh. Dude lost the Boom and it didn’t matter. Playoff team. Respect. Harbaugh lost Suggs, Mosley, Weddle and Zadarius Smith from last years defence (and obviously Lewis, Reed and Ngata from the Super Bowl winning team) to put together probably the best regular season team since the 07 Pats.

I'm kind of stumped as to why Carroll is being ranked so highly after the Seahawks only put up only 17 points against hands down the worst team in the playoffs AND that same team was ravaged by injuries AND had their starting QB knocked out of the game. Frankly I have Carroll ranked at 7 with only Bill O Brien behind him.

Carroll at this point is the only one with an argument over Reid. Big game record or not, his resume of getting his teams consistently to big games is something that really only Carroll and Harbaugh can trump at this point. Shanahan maybe someday, but not today. I’d probably go Harbaugh, Reid, Carroll, Shanahan, Zimmer, Vrabel, Lafleur, big gap, O’Brien. I don’t really have a feel for five, six or seven though. Too short on resume.

I have the 49ers -7 and the moneyline to cover that bet just in case they keep it close or there is a backdoor cover. So I just really need to 49ers to win , but need them to win by 8 to really cash in.
My prediction for the game is 31-20 San Francisco. Minnesota is a hot and cold team , especially on defense and I trust that Shanahan and company are going to scheme the shit out of them after two weeks of prep and take advantage of their secondary lapses.
Defensively I like their line versus Minnesota's and Dee Ford coming back is huge to attack those edges ... especially on play action. The 49ers secondary can be had though so they need to get pressure because Diggs and Thielen will eat them up all afternoon if Kirk has time.
The later game is a tougher one for me. I could see Tennessee hanging in there and still don't totally trust the Ravens defense , they are super aggressive and that could kill them against Brown and if they blitz to the wrong gaps against Henry. I could also see them rattling Tannehill and the game being a blowout because they ain't stopping Lamar. I want Tennessee to win , if the game is ugly I could definitely see them bringing it down the the wire and getting the upset but they need a perfect storm.
Realistically it's probably going to be 38-21 but in my heart I hope Tennessee wins 34-31. Let's go Titans!

I think Baltimore blows Tennessee out. They have a lot to prove. Baltimore to win 45-10.
I think SF puts it away at the end with a pick 6 as Cousins is trying to lead the team downfield to tie the game. I’m taking SF 27-17.
