We're less than two hours away from a special supersized 90 minute edition of NWA Powerrr. 

I'm guessing/hoping this will be what the upcoming Hard Times pay per view should have been.

NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis will put the 10 Pounds of Gold on the line against Ricky Morton.

Because Zane Dawson is not cleared to wrestle at Hard Times due to his hand injury, a special "Last Chance Gauntlet" match has been around with the winner taking Zane's spot in the TV Title Tournament at Hard Times.

Melina has something in store for NWA Women's Champion Allysin Kay.

All this and more on what is bound to be another action packed installment of NWA Powerrr.

I have no choice but to pull for Aldis over Morton. I know this might seem weird coming from me, but nostalgia acts like the Rock and Roll Express and Scott Steiner are probably my least favorite thing about Powerrr. I have no problem with old guys provided they can still go, but those dudes just can't go anymore. It's rough to watch. Plus the Rock & Rolls already had their big "Thank You" moment. Morton really doesn't need another one.

Now I'm 99% sure Aldis will retain Sweet Charlotte. But that small seed of doubt is there. NWA management and fans can't seem to get enough Rock & Roll Express nostalgia. Plus the 10 Pounds of Gold was never mentioned in regards to the upcoming Aldis/Flip match. Slip up or foreshadowing? Then there's always a chance Scurll and/or his Villain Enterprises stable interferes to cost Aldis the match. Hopefully Slick Nick prevails so he can move on to some better competition from the under 60 division of NWA Powerrr.

The Last Chance Gauntlet Match opens up a whole slew of possibilities. Other Dawson taking his brother's spot? Eli? Colt Cabana? "Mr. View Count" Scott Steiner? Might we finally see the Powerrr debut of Matt Classic? I'm definitely interested to see what happens there.

Man, I wanted to watch Dawson vs Dawson. That match sounded fun on paper.

I haven't seen this confirmed by NWA but Trevor Murdoch vs. Thom Latimer in the TV Title Tournament should air this week as well.

Love that Aldis promo. He talked about the upcoming Baltimore ROH show I just mentioned in the ROH thread and told the NWA fans to show up. I'll be there repping the NWA, Champ! Loving this little ROH vs. NWA promotional war. Also, Scurll will be at the next set of Powerrr tapings.

I like how they've given Isaacs a character by making him the geek of Strictly Business.
