I’m going to start with Andy Reid. Everyone’s favorite loser. He finally becomes a champion head coach.

Travis Kelce! My man is a fucking champion and he has absolutely earned his right to partyyyyyyyy!

Honey Badger. Went from a stud in college to a guy who just couldn’t find the right fit into the NFL to being an absolute beast in the NFL.

Terrell Suggs. From the school of Hard Knocks. Two time Super Bowl Champion! Might retire a champ, too.

Sammy Watkins. Went from a bust to finding a perfect fit with Kansas City. He said he’s going to sit next season out if he wins the chip and he earned it with the big plays he made in these playoffs. Enjoy your vacation man.

Shady. Sucks he was inactive for the Super Bowl. I don’t even know if he gets a ring but fuck it. Congrats.

Patty fucking Mahomes! You are my fucking hero. The way you started winning games with your fucking legs in these playoffs is amazing considering you had what looked like a season ending injury early in the year. Epic playoff performance with 3 come from behind victories.

Congrats to Hardman, Tyreek (who played great too), Sorensen, Fuller, Big Man Jones and everyone else on that team.

ALSO; Damien Williams. I never believed in you and wanted to kill you for scoring that TD and almost costing me all my money by giving SF the ball back but you fucking killed it tonight. You could’ve easily been the Super Bowl MVP.

It was an incredible 4th Quarter, truly a classic.
I was really on the edge of my seat, I wanted the Chiefs to win, I'm not a supporter of either side but I love watching Mahomes throw, guy can do anything.

Now tell me folks, when was the last time a  QB that wasn't on his rookie deal, or wasn't taking less than his market value has  won a Super Bowl.    The answer is Eli Manning in 2011.    QB salaries have gotten so ridiculous now that  it's gotten much harder to build a complete team around a stud QB, (just ask Aaron Rodgers about that)

They get another crack next season before they have to pay him, but definitely best to make hay while the sun shines. Hopefully including a playoff game with the Ravens too.

Peyton was overpaid for his market value in 2016 and won.

While I think that the Rodgers/Wilson/Peyton Manning future is more likely than the Brady one, I’m happy the Chiefs have a coach at the moment that will put him in the right spots to succeed, which I think definitely hampered Rodgers prime and I think some (not me) would argue is a problem for Russ now.

I think Rodgers could’ve won another one had they not blown that NFC Championship game against the Seahawks. Rodgers should’ve played in 3 Super Bowls and we could’ve had Rodgers vs Brady at least once. We would’ve never got the goal line interception but Rodgers could’ve made it to 3 Super Bowls.

A podcast I was listening to today said the Mahomes to Hill was the longest air pass in the NFL this season because Mahomes was 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage after taking a nine step drop from shotgun.

I didn’t make it. My kiddo had her tonsils removed yesterday so I was being a doting dad today, but it did let me watch the parade. While I think it’d be kind of cool to go, after the Royals won in 15 it sounded like such a hassle and the Chiefs are an even bigger deal so I wouldn’t have anyway.
