Picked a shitty night to skip the show. Awesome to see Reby's Matt Hardy theme is the one used. And they are going all in the Broken Universe. Broken Matt in war games is going to be interesting for sure.

Evil Uno was pretty damn good on the mic tonight for a guy who almost never actually does promos. Huge swerve and great gimmick for Brodie Lee to debut in. Also makes him a heel not aligned with the Elite which is very interesting. Also they have a real serious threat, which Daniels or Matt would not have been. And when the hell did Brodie learn to cut a promo. Holy shit. Brodie Lee with the Dark Order and the Fallen may be unstoppable.

Have to say; AEW is knocking out of the park when it comes to making mid card wrestlers look like bigger stars.

And 🤯, the GOAT has arrived. MATT HARDY!

Brodie Lee has always been good at promos. The WWE didn’t know how to use him properly.

Loved the Sister Abigail tease and the shot at Vince. Usually I think stuff like that is cringey in AEW but not in this case. What a great debut. Too bad the crowd was dead.

I only know his promos from CHIKARA and lets say they left a lot to be desired. Then again he did work with Dusty so should have expected this.

I don’t watch AEW, but did like the fact they put talent at ringside to add some atmosphere. WWE’s emptiness was straight up weird.

And agree, this isn’t a time to carry on with storyline, especially wasted on an empty arena. Matt’s and Brodie’s debut could have waited until they had the ok to fill arenas again.

Or be smart about it, BTE was built on backstage skits and I’m sure a creative mind can manipulate the circumstances. These guys are doing a parking lot brawl, perfect.

Book street fights on the street, bar brawls, book another Final Deletion. Anything that doesn’t require a crowd.

Don't understand the premise that The Elite is outnumbered when Dustin Rhodes is right there. Isn't he a member of The Elite? Recently feuded with Hager? I'd take him over Matt Hardy.

Still, interesting development.

Dustin is in the Nightmare Family which is Cody, Family, and Family-Friends. Cody, Brandi, AA, DDP, QT, Pharoah, and Dustin. Cody is also in the Elite which is Kenny, Bucks, Hangman, and himself. But even if he isn't a member of the Elite he still made more sense.
