My next planned one was either gonna be movie #25 in the countdown (and again for #1) or when Dumb and Dumber gets revealed, whichever comes first.

Sadly I'm starting to think it might not make it.

Also you gonna pause the Mania viewing to watch that so son gets the experience?

son rolled, so Wife says no more swaddle for going to bed. Since 8ish, he's only been sleeping 25 minutes at a time between crying wakeups.

Are you putting him on his side, stomach, back?

Back to start. If he rolls, he rolls. Although so far he hasn't rolled in the crib. Just cried every 25 minutes, almost like clockwork, lol.

He’ll be okay.

Just make sure there’s nothing much in the crib with him other than a blanket.

Caycee HATED her crib. The minute she felt herself being lowered into it...NOPE. She would sleep everywhere else. Finally when she was about 6 months old I said ‘fuck it’ and put her in a twin bed with a guard and never had an issue again.

We did sleep sacks I thought for a while post swaddle.

Honestly, part of me wonders if we're just getting hit with a perfect storm... Rolled so no more swaddle, but also a growth spurt to really make sleep a feast or famine proposition.

We did sleep sacks forever. My son loved them. Nothing in the crib at all. The sleep sack doubles as a blanket that he couldn't get caught up in.

Just put him in a sleep sack with no blankets... And if your crib has bumpers, I will get super pissy.

Other option is one blanket tucked in hard and bubs goes right down the bottom of the crib so there is no way to wriggle under the covers.

The stage where they roll and are shocked by the outcome doesn't last very long.

I had to look up sleep sack to see if I ever used one. I think we did but she just had a normal blanket.

I put her on her side and rolled up a receiving blanket on the other side of her to prevent the rolling. If they are on the couch something under the couch cushion to raise it to stop them from rolling. Did that a lot.

We ended up putting him in what I think Wife called a sleep sack last night. Think iNCY is dead on about son just needing to acclimate so as not to be surprised by his new situation. It's not so much the rolling that seemed to wake him up crying as much as the free arms flailing and whacking himself in the face?

Anyway, reports are Grandpa & Nonna daycare today got a 1 hour 45 minute nap out of him in the crib with no swaddle... So here's hoping our boy is just learning and adapting fast!

Don't know what bumpers are, but Wife has been pretty clear cut on nothing in the crib besides a baby on his back and a pacifier for him to grab.

Growing pains can upset them too. Wait for the teething which could start at any time. I think Caycee was 4-6 months when she started cutting her first tooth.

I'm assuming we'll get swaddle-less sleeping mastered just in time for teething to start and reset us back to square one.

It's back to square one until they are teenagers. Then you are yelling at them to get up.

Not me though. I let mine sleep because I was a kid that wanted a lot of sleep and my parents wouldn't let me. I'm of the belief that teens need that sleep.

Babies don't control their limbs, hence the flailing and why swaddling settles them.

Horned winged devilish imp infant is inbound to reinforce son, I guess. Guessing date of conception was 3/14... How fitting, 🤯 day!
