All I can really say at the moment is that the shock of this swerve has not only cramped my colon but also my plans to focus on reading Chapter Two of Saga.

Having raised two kids for a few years then one kid for a few years it is crazy how different the dynamics are.  One kid alone with things silent means things are all good.  With two kids when you hear nothing you know shit is about to hit the fan.

Could just be 'cold'. You said he was under the weather so that could be it. Hope it's nothing more sinister and no doesn't mean you will get pink eye if he does have it.

I will prepare you in advance (even though son is still little): trying to get eye drops into a toddlers' eyes is like trying to bungee jump without a cord. They are inhumanly strong and become like octopuses. It took 3 grown adults to hold Caycee down and get it done when she was about 2-1/2".

My dogs have gunky eyes all the time without issue. Just wipe the gunk back on him and give him some kibble.

No and no. Plenty of reasons in a little one the gunk comes out the corners of the eye like IM said and I did not get pink eye when she did either (also somehow I’ve avoided strep every time as well)

Eye gunk can be one of a million things, usually allergies or just being sick. Pink eye is not as common as many make it out to be.

Pinkeye itself is an infection of the area between the eyelids and eye. It can be caused by bacteria which is why people say do not touch it, but can also be viral or allergies. The bacteria one will have pus.  To transfer it from their eye to your eye you need to touch it, then touch your eye.

Trick for drops is to hit the corner of the eyes and let it soak into the eye, rather than aiming for the eye itself. I cannot take drops to the eyeball to this day so I do this.

In my experience it's nearly always conjunctivitis.
You're not guaranteed to get it if you keep washing your hands.
