WRESTLING IS BORING LIKE A DEAN AMBROSE MATCH: Same old shit in wrestling. Corona-chan, firings, etc. Some good ideas for content, but the stubborn old man in charge doesn't care what you think. Tessa got fired, but she kinda already quit anyway. Kinda like my coworker who has been calling off since February. Management thinks they're getting rid of her finally, but she already quit but ya know... union gotta do it the slow way. Baker watched a handful of PPVs though, so you can check those out if you want.

DOCTOR DOCTOR GIMME THE NEWZ: The Dazz has cancer or something... he's in and out of the clinic. Hope it wasn't too bad since going into any medical facility these days increases your chance of catching covid19 like 110%. Turns out he just has an extra nipple on the back of his neck, so all is well. Also everyone posts on PW on their phone. HOW? Doesn't seem possible.

BOWL OF CHEX NOT TOO MUCH MILK: Cereal Countdowns continues on and we get a new batch of entries. Unlike yesterday a lot more were repeats, although I'm sure seeing new blood isn't a bad thing either. None were part of my household growing up and certainly don't make their way to Casa del Sally. We also saw the return of PW Quiz, with the second edition getting more raved reviews than last week's debut. The powers that be are learning! I will reign supreme eventually. I know who Stephen Curry was. Is? Also we would like to confirm that Lony did not delete his account. Don't do it bruddah. It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Women come and go, but this forum is ETERNAL.

Also also, lots of Chex love from me. For all three Chexes. And Crispix is just a superior Chex. It's like the opposite of TNA when they added two sides to make the ring six sided and shit got worse. Crispix added two sides to somehow improve on Chex.

Also, cereal countdown inspired Wife and I to buy those sampler boxes. Contains 8 small boxes of 8 different cereals. Definitely the way to go. So nice to have such variety!

Okay there ain't no way I spent the whole episode talking about cereal. But I do have fond memories growing up. Must really be an American thing!

Most cereals are pretty much the same with some tiny differences. I'm sure you even said something like that yourself in today's cereal talk. "This cereal and this other cereal are basically the same". There's like 5 cereals with "Chex" in the name. Come on. Should be counting all those as one.

The pure volume of cereal you guys have is tremendous. Might be wrong, because I don't check out the cereals in supermarkets much, but I feel like we wouldn't have even 10% of the brands of cereal you guys do.

I can relate to Aaron's post about comic books advertising US cereal, I can't remember a single thing that happened in Archie's Sonic but can remember all the advertisements for Cap'n Crunch, Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, Count Chocula etc.

We didn't have the selection, but there were some pretty famous give-aways in Aus. I still have my super cool glow in the dark vintage Casper the Friendly Ghost movie t-shirt I got after sending in 20 coupons of Cocoa Puffs. I also recall they started including PC games with cereal, so naturally I joined in. Age of Empires came with something arother, possibly Rice Bubbles?

My cereal of choice:

Cocoa Puffs - The best start and finish of any cereal. The initial crunch is delicious, then it becomes a chocolate milk shake at the death.
Sugar Froasties - The unhealthier and crunchier version of Rice Bubbles
Fruit Loops - A little too flavourful for what it is. If they had berries in there, I'd be game.
Rice Bubbles - ...did I do something wrong?
Nutrigrain - 'Healthy' cereal? What's the point?

I can't remember any gummy or marshmellow mainline cereal for kids? Maybe they came out after, I did steal a bowl of some fruity cereal once and it taught me a lesson by breaking my tooth. Somehow a really hard nugget got in there and just destroyed one of my maulers, only noticed it the next door when my mouth wanted to kill me.

I stick to Oats since they give you all the energy you need and they're customisable. Need some fruit? Chuck some banana in there. Want some fats in there? Teaspoon of peanut butter and you're good. Can even make it a desert if you sprinkle some cinnamon, chocolate, cream etc. although I've never been that buckwild.

Otherwise, I'll have Oatbrits, Wheatbrits or Vitabrits if my options are limited. Every kitchen down here has them, so I'm always in the clear.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you've got to do it right and get those carbs then and there.

Love how this has generated more cereal discussion than the actual countdown thread. Sorry @ness. They are both your threads anyway.

Canada has lots of room. A liquor store every KM (sometimes 3 in 1km) and one of my favorites is called Wine and Beyond. It’s the same size as the Wal Mart for just booze. Glorious!

Also best cereal is Captain Crunch or you’re wrong.

Pancake mix and syrup wouldn't be kept with the cereal here, but most supermarkets have at least one full aisle for cereal (plus Pop Tarts, cereal bars, porridge, fruit rollups and stuff).

In case you're wondering what you'd find in the average British supermarket, here's a nice link for you.

American cereal (Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles and stuff) has also started becoming more available over the past few years, but they're mostly in discount stores for some reason (example).

All this cereal/wrestling talk reminds me, I went to a WWE house show in 2009 and the actual Honey Monster cut an in ring promo.

I just read the results of the show and the only thing I remember of it was HM being there, so it was obviously a huge waste of my money!

Listened while driving again. Posting on PW is turning into a full time job what with all this content being churned out.

I like Ness opening these with deep thoughts.

It took 40+ listens to finally realize Ness recaps the news in the order the forum is laid out.

lol @ness is half right on his theory. I really do have dusty old notebooks full of wrestling notes in my basement. But I do not have chronicles of every PPV with star ratings. Because star ratings are stupid. A lot of those I genuinely remembered off the top of my head. For NWA/WCW, ECW, and certain periods in WWF history I did consult Wikipedia for a memory refresher.

Ness riffing on yucky cereal is way more entertaining than Ness putting over good cereal. Negativity draws on PW. I have learned this first hand.

All these different versions of Chex are giving me a headache. I'll throw Crispix in too because it begins with a C and ends with x. I just dismiss them as boring cereals. Get a cartoon mascot or gtfo.

I had no idea who or what a Honey Monster was until @aaron's post. Yet I still fully support Honey Monster cutting promos at WWE shows.

I'm sure there was other good stuff here but I forget. It was like 12 hours ago when I listened.

Liquor stores here really do come in all shapes and sizes. Some (including my go to spot) really are supermarket sized. Others, like my early 20s go to spot, are just these dinky little hole in the wall places.
