I'm going to be real, I copied that list from GameInformer. I usually type up every game by hand, but this has taken long enough and Lony has me in suspense.
Paper Mario and the Origami King received it's own thread a couple of months back and drew a fairly mixed reception. Based on the details that have come out, there does appear to be some mechanics making a return. The partner system is returning but as far as I understand, the party members aren't permanent. They help you out in a chapter and then they move on. Badges I also believe return, but in a limited capacity. The way I see it, I feel it's going to be like Colour Splash with a slightly more in-depth combat system. I expect it'll be met with positive reviews at first - a lot of 'it's not bad' but fans will want a return to TTYD. What Nintendo should do is simply re-release TTYD like they did with their Mario and Luigi series, I presume it would sell really well given how in demand it is.
What is this Circle of the Moon 2 business? Is this just the 8 bit version of 'not Castlevania' getting another entry?

Close, except the entire world is made out of paper as well and nobody really acknowledges it. If you enter a building, it's like walking into a diorama. Mario also gets powers like transforming into a paper plane to reach far off platforms.
I can't believe you haven't played Paper Mario 64. You were the 64 kid back in the day, what happened? Too busy playing booker in WWF No Mercy?

Curse of the Moon II is the sequel to the 8 bit Castlevania inspired game that came out a few years ago, it has some lore in regards to Bloodstained: Night of the Ritual which came out last year and was the SOTN spiritual successor. Plays like an original Castlevania game, 1st one was really good.
Will probably pick up Deadly Premonition 2 down the road, think I bite Curse of the Moon II given I really enjoyed the first game. Maybe I play Ghost of Tsushima.

Are they selling Super Dragons in the States yet?
That and the Farsight were my guns of choice, King of the Hill Perfect Dark matches with 10 FPS, they don't make them like the used to.
But yeah, Paper Mario was sweet. The game had a great sense of humour, really witty writing, memorable characters and some vibrant worlds. It was the perfect introduction to the genre and even if you're not a fan of JRPGs, one of the few that does it right. It would later go onto inspire South Park The Stick of Truth if you ever played it.

Going to have to pick up both Paper Mario and Ghost of Tsushima.
Rogue Legacy 2 is a must get eventually, as I love the first. Since it's early access, I'll probably hold off for a few updates though.

Just Paper Mario for now!
I'll get Fairy Tail and Deadly Premonition (and prolly Destroy All Humans) when the prices drop.

All this Paper Mario discussion makes me wonder. Have you heard of Nintendo Labo 🤯 ?
A series of periphary based games, all based on cardboard.
I haven't heard anyone talk about it in two years.
I just imagine this is what you had in mind for Paper Mario.

Isn't there also a game where you build universes out of yarn or thread or something? Might be Little Big Planet. Might not be.

At this point the only paper I'm interested in is rolling paper. Honestly isn't that just gummies with more steps? I know edibles don't always work for people (not in your case lmao) but if they did for me I'd never go back.
BRB gonna try and force these standard Reese's cups to "work".

You got me! Just more bad dad jokes. I'm all about the gummies and only the gummies. Don't wanna be fucking my lungs up, especially if it involves doing work in advance of getting high. Speaking of which, and while I've got your attention... I'm dying to get high again. Sign of addiction? @whocares. I'm also realizing I'm more backlogged on PW News than I ever wanted to be and am feeling whelmed by the prospect of getting caught up. But then I had an idea... Once this pre-employment drug test is in the rear view mirror, and hopefully pre Baby PI Jr. debut, considering PW News episodes likely aren't evergreen... I thought it might be fun for me and hilarious for all to get caught up some night binge-style high live tweeting responses to yesterday's yesterday's news. So, standby in case that becomes a thing.
