THE INFINITY CHAMBER
At Infinity Chamber, the Undertaker nearly erased the entire WWE. Entering the Chamber (and with the help of his disciple, Rusev) he found himself standing at the every end against CM Punk. In possession of five of the infinity stones, he just lacked the mind stone that the Straight-Edge Superstar has firm in his grasp. Punk would shock the world when he nailed a kick to the Phenom’s head and then hoisted him up for a Go To Sleep followed with a three count. Punk celebrated with the crowd and the masses of WWE Superstars after putting the forces of darkness to death. However, the official would halt the celebration and tap Punk, pointing to the One Who Shall Not Be Named, to see the Deadman holding the WWE Championship with five of the stones already placed in the belt. He smiles before activating the time stone and going back in time to just moments before the kick. Punk is flabbergasted. He can’t believe it. The unfairness. He had won. He goes for the kick again only for it to be blocked. Punk realizes that Taker now has the advantage. However, he drops to a knee and delivers a low blow before charging the Chamber door and drop kicking it wide open, busting the lock off of its hinge. Punk darts off into the night with the mind stone intact. No one would ever call him a coward after standing toe to toe with Undertaker. However, he has shown true that he will do anything to keep the stone from falling into the Undertaker’s hand.
A NEW REALITY
The following Friday night, despite lacking one of the infinity stones, the Undertaker appears and reveals that he may not have been able to wipe half of the WWE off of the face of the earth, but he could reform it with the stones he has. He said it was time to terraform the WWE. Time for a new reality. And just like that, the Undertaker takes us to a new reality. The reality and time stones activate and we are now back to Summer Slam the year prior. The Undertaker has created a new reality where the WWE is playing out like a motion picture. He has placed the stars of the WWE into the stories from the big screen.
THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH YOU!
The Undertaker began playing mind games with CM Punk. He started giving him dreams of his wife, AJ Lee, dying at the hands of the Undertaker and Punk being unable to save her. Punk resisted his forces but the more he was tormented the more he fell into madness. He is always expecting the other foot to fall and to lose everything he ever worked for and the one he loves most in the galaxy. The Undertaker tries to lure him to the dark side with tales of the powers of darkness being able to save her from certain and imminent death. Punk resists and fights. But the longer this war goes on, the more insane and removed from the order of those trying to stop Undertaker. Eventually, he feels like he is all alone in his pursuit. No longer is the Undertaker the one he is fighting. He is fighting the invisible enemy who is trying to take his wife from him. He can’t trust his best friends who question his motives. The more we go down this hole, the more he starts to listen to the Undertaker. He has hopes that the Deadman can show him the ways of the dark side in order to save his wife. In a very heated confrontation with Undertaker with Kofi Kingston at his side, Punk finally caved and kicked Kofi in the head. In despair he cried out:
Punk - What have I done?
Undertaker - Fulfilling you destiny, Punk. Become my apprentice! Learn to use the dark side of the force!
Punk - I will do whatever you ask.
Undertaker - Goooooooooooooood.
Punk - Just help me save A.J.’s life. I can’t live without her!
Undertaker - To chest death is a power that only one has achieved. But if we work together, I know we can discover the secret.
Punk - I pledge myself to your teachings!
Undertaker - Good, gooooooood!
The Undertaker started corrupting Punk and turning him to the dark side. His first order was to send Punk to eliminate Kofi Kingston. When he did, he found Kofi trying to warn A.J. of Punk’s transformation to the dark side. A jealous Punk confronts Kingston. When he does, Lee tries to stop him. Punk almost throws her to the ground but suddenly realizes he is the enemy. He is the one who would have hurt his own wife. Punk comes to his senses and despite what you may have seen in the movies, Punk becomes the ultimate good guy. He has vowed to take the last five infinity stones from Undertaker at Summer Slam, restore the time line, restore balance to the force, and bring peace to the galaxy. May the force be with him!
Undertaker and Punk battle of on the Death Star. Punk wields the light saber and Taker shocks him with lightning before we flash to reality and the two fighting in the ring at Summer Slam...
LIVING IN AMERICA!
The number one henchman of the One Who Shall Not Be Named, Rusev, was made the star of his own motion picture. We are taken to a sporting hall with a ring set up in the middle. Standing in the ring we see Rusev. Behind him, hanging from the ceiling is the Bulgarian flag. He is standing tall in the ring. Motionless. Sincere. That’s when James Brown’s song “Living in America” plays. Out comes Kofi Kingston wearing red, white, and blue attire. There is a grand celebration of sorts as Kingston dances to the ring. At some point, he points as Rusev and yells “I want you” in a very Uncle Sam fashion.
We fast forward and the two are boxing. The fast and flamboyant Kingston is bouncing around the ring and is connecting with jabs on Rusev who stands near motionless. Finally, Rusev connects with a hard right that rocks Kingston’s world. Then another. It’s not long before Kofi is down and the official is counting. Rusev makes a harsh statement to the crowd:
“If he dies, he dies.”
That statement was enough to jar some life back into Kingston who snaps upright and is ready for a fight. We shoot into reality where Kingston and Rusev are fighting at Summer Slam...
SWEEP THE LEG, JOHNNY!
In another alternative reality, we see Johnny Gargano standing in a Karate exhibition ring. He is wearing all black with the Cobra Kai logo on his back. Across the training mat from him is Tomasso Ciampa wearing all white with a black belt that his sensai borrowed from the check in station. Ciampa has a hurt leg from an earlier bought. The two engage in a fight. We hear someone from the gallery tell:
“Put him in a body bag!”
The two engage in competition and fight against one another striking for point. The match starts to come to a conclusion as we hear another gem from the crowd:
“Sweep the leg, Johnny!”
Gargano comes in for an attack but Ciampa is standing on one leg in a crane striking pose. He jumps up and pump kicks just as we flash to reality with the two fighting at Summer Slam...
I WANT YOU TO HIT ME
The next alternative reality and we see lifelong friends, possibly brothers? Edge and Christian leaving a bar. They are talking about the mundaneness of life. Christian is wearing a white collar shirt and tie and Edge has on a reddish brown leather jacket. To break up the routine in life, Edge has an idea:
“I want you to hit me!”
Christian responds:
“What do you want me to do? You want me to hit you?”
“Come on. Just do me the his one favor.”
“Why?”
“Why? I don’t know why. I don’t know. I’ve never been in a fight. You?”
“No, but that’s a good thing.”
“Not it’s not. How much can you know about yourself if you’ve never been in a fight?”
...
“This is so stupid.”
Christian pulls back his fist and prepares to punch Edge. He smiles and points a Christian before standing up tall and is ready to accept his punch. Christian obliges and lays one right in the ear of Edge!
Flash forward and the two are bare knuckle fighting in a dirty basement. They are beating the snot out of one another. We shoot back to reality and the two are fighting at Summer Slam...
CROSS THE STREAMS!
Another reality and we see Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, AJ Lee, and Lacey Evans standing on top of a tall building in New York City. They are dressed in worker jumpsuits with large backpacks on their back and carrying odd looking guns. In the distance we see Nia Jax, who appears to be one hundred feet tall walking towards them and wrecking havoc on the city.
AJ Lee: “Cross the streams!”
Candice LeRae: “But you told us not to cross the streams.”
The four fire up their proton packs and shoot them directly at Nia Jax. She screams as she catches on fire before the building too catches ablaze. They rush back out of the way as she climbs the building. As she reaches the top they prepare to fire at her again before we flash back to reality and the five are going to war at Summer Slam...
ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL!
The second from last shot takes us to Middle Earth as a group decides how they will defeat and overcome the evil Sullivan. A council, a fellowship if you will, decides to steal his Cruiserweight Championship and throw it into the fires of Mount Doom. As they create this fellowship, the members of the raiding party declare their loyalty to the Fellowship.
Rush: “One does not simply walk into Summer Slam and dethrone Lars Sullivan of his title.”
The group decides that they will have to work together to overcome this giant in a handicap match.
Fandango: If by my life or death, I can protect us, I will. We will have my Ford!”
He points to his chameleon painted Ford Mustang.
Tyler Breeze: “And my glow!”
As he displays his sparkly face glitter around his eyes.
Lio Rush: “And my axe!”
Rush sprays the group with a can of Axe body spray.
Fandango: “We carry the fate of us all little ones. If this is indeed the will of the council, Breezango will see it done!”
We flash forward to the three charging up the hills of Mount Doom in the most flamboyant of fashions as the all seeing eye of Lars Sullivan stares at them from his tower. The shot cuts to the three striking at him all at once inside the ring at Summer Slam...
### Sullivan v the World (Lord of the Rings)
THOSE WITH LOADED GUNS & THOSE WHO DIG
The final shots takes us to a western frontier. We see Samoa Joe, Dave Batista, and Brock Lesnar standing just outside a graveyard near a desert. The three are all wearing western cowboy clothes. They are standing n a triangle formation thirty yards apart. Some pretty suspicious spaghetti western music plays. There is a long pause with all three just staring at one another. Finally all three reach for a revolver (am I allowed to have them with guns anymore?) the three shoot and Batista takes a shot and goes down immediately, collapsing into a pre-dug grave. Lesnar keeps trying to shoot but his gun doesn’t fire. Joe walks towards him and shoots Batista’s hat into the grave with him just before doing the same to his revolver. Lesnar starts barking at Joe:
“You could have got me killed!”
Joe just stares at him.
“When did you unload it?”
“Last night. You see, in this world there are two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns. And those who dig. You dig!”
The intense showdown of the three concludes as we shoot forward to their epic triple threat at Summer Slam...
