Can I consider this a win and progress? I've been more social at work. It started just talking to the cuties and that acknowledgement gave me confidence to just be "around" more. Part of me feels the cutie aspect means I can't take credit for putting myself out there. It's nice to be greeted and obviously cuties are cuties. It counts though right?

Maybe one of the cuties can help you find your own cutie?
Great to see more social though.

That would actually be better than what I currently do with fruit... placed in fridge on bottom row, forgotten until it gets moldy. Rinse and repeat. The cuties giveth and they taketh away.

That went a different way than I thought it was going to for which I am grateful for.
I love fruit but my mom insists on putting it in the beer drawers where they get forgotten and then donated to the compost bin.

I GOT THE JOB!!!! I have a lot of feelings about it. A lot of good, a lot of positive, and there is a few bad feelings and worries but still yayyyyyy Sorry it took me so long to say congrats, I also wanted to add that I think those "feelings" are really important. A long time ago someone told me that if my dreams don't scare me, I'm not dreaming big enough. I do completely agree with that sentiment, but to what you said in your post, on a smaller every day level I try to spend as much time as possible outside of my comfort zone. I see that all positive change in ones self requires a catalyst and being uncomfortable is the best way to make it happen. Those butterflies or slight uneasiness are like muscle soreness after working out... Except for your inner self.

Heard it is a three hour set. That is fucking crazy, not even Floyd would do three hour sets.
Also heard no real intermissions which is even more insane.

Neil Young played for 3 hours when I saw him about a decade ago. His setlist would have only been about 15 songs just with 10 minute solos in most.

I seen three bands push two hours: Rammstein, Orbital and Underworld. Was zoning out for Rammstein after the 60 minute mark. Orbital and Underworld were better but they are not really traditional bands. Think in two hours Orbital did 7 songs. Underworld played like almost everything they had.

Back in 2003 Ozzy was really feeling it with us and played well over 2 hours. 25+ songs for sure. I remember that show well because it was my birthday.

Canadians fans sad she isn't coming here, but honestly I don't think any of our stadiums have the capacity she was looking for. I think she's a badass for doing 3 hours. If you're going to pay she's going to give you your money's worth.

Canadians fans sad she isn't coming here, but honestly I don't think any of our stadiums have the capacity she was looking for. This is another thing that has worked beautifully in our favour. The MCG is 100k capacity whereas the Tokyo Dome is only 50,000 - I think it will be a much better experience in the "smaller" arena.

So since February I’ve lost about 30 lbs.
All I’ve done is reduce portion size, exercise a bit more… not anything drastic. Just some stretching and cardio mostly. I’ve also cut out between meal snacking… always a weakness of mine. But I’ve been doing better lately. Anyway it’s the first time I’ve been below 200 in a long time. Like I’m gonna have to buy some clothes if I keep losing. Anyway it has me feeling good about myself, the gut is shrinking. I get down to 180 or so the honeys won’t be able to keep their hands off me.

Oh yeah and I’m barely eating out. Like I can count in one hand the number of times I’ve eaten out side the house this summer. And fast food? None… well except the occasional onion ring… I mean I’m not a nun.

Any number of things could send me the other direction. And despite some financial hiccups of late that are mostly now resolved life’s been going decent for me. A long time coworker abruptly quit, and god do I hate to train people… but surprisingly his replacement is not only competent he’s actually smart, skilled, polite, and the best student I’ve ever had there have been very few hiccups. Literally guy is making it easy for me to train him. My workload is up but he’s trying so hard and getting it mostly right, he’s not super efficient yet but is paying attention and asking the right questions. Son changed from community collage to university this month… the added expenses have piled up, but somehow it’s all working out. I dunno how to explain it man, like I should be shoveling cupcakes and shit in my face hole by the shovel full. But my stress level has remained manageable. Life’s is of course as ever not perfect, but all things considered I have tons to be positive about and that makes it easier for me to treat my body better.

I understand, for me the key to healthy habits is routine and when routine goes out the window, it is hard to hang on.
