Tony Kahn Purchases ROH, IMPACT!; Possibly In Talks With NWAJACKSONVILLE, FL - Incredible breaking news today out of Florida today. Tony Kahn has announced that a deal has been reached to purchase both Ring of Honor from Sinclair Broadcasting Group and IMPACT! Wrestling from Anthem Sports & Entertainment. The blockbuster deal was confirmed at a press conference in Jacksonville this morning, led by Tony Kahn, who was joined by AEW Executive VP Cody Rhodes, Sinclair's President Christopher Ripley & Anthem's COO Ed Nordholm. "Fans of all companies involved have no reason to worry, but every reason to celebrate. This is an historic moment in professional wrestling, and a new era of entertainment and competition is upon us," Kahn explained. "AEW will be the place wrestling fans around the world turn for the very best in wrestling, entertainment, variety and action. We are going to do everything in our power to provide a home for the most talented and diverse roster on the planet." "COVID-19 has been more of an obstacle than we could have imagined," Ripley commented to one reporter's question. "ROH was struggling even before the pandemic hit, and when we were pulled from the air entirely we couldn't stay afloat. Fortunately Tony [Kahn] threw us a life preserver." "The fact that we've been able to continue to work during this pandemic is proof enough that AEW is the real deal," Cody Rhodes added. "This isn't a hostile takeover, this is a chance for out of work wrestlers to have a home, collect a paycheck, and do what they love most." Not much was given in the way of details, but Christopher Ripley did confirm that all Honor Club accounts would immediately switch over to TNT Drama's streaming service free of charge. Nordholm also confirmed that anyone who chose to do so could switch their AXS TV On Demand subscription to TNT Drama's service. "We are aware that many subscribers to AXS On Demand are there because of IMPACT!," said Nordholm. AXS TV will still be going strong, but anyone that wants to cancel their subscription and switch to TNT Drama because of this announcement can do so free of charge." ProWrestling Insider reached out to Billy Corgan to inquire about NWA and NWA Powerrr, which has not been on the air since May of 2020. Corgan did not comment, but sources inside the company did reveal that there are no current plans for Powerrr to return to YouTube. NWA's future remains up in the air. The initial reaction from ROH and IMPACT! fans on social media has been negative, saying that Sinclair and Anthem saw an opportunity to cash in and jump ship, but the negativity was quickly drowned out by the legions of AEW fans that saw this as a positive step, and a challenge to the WWE. More to come.

After the attack, MJF entered the room and kneeled beside Mox, telling him that despite beating him at All Out, their journey was just beginning. -The Lucha Bros. become #1 Contenders to the AEW Tag Team titles with their main event victory. -After their victory, The Elite were attacked by Kingston & Co. The 5-on-3 beat down was disturbing, but perhaps more disturbing was Omega's tag partner Adam Page did not come to his rescue. -The Inner Circle joined Sammy Guevara after his victory and took off in a limousine to party the night away. -Britt Baker becomes #1 Contender to the AEW Women's title with her win. Hikaru Shida confronted her after the match. -Brian Cage squashed Darby Allin, then threw him through the glass paneling at ringside while Taz posed with the FTW Championship. -After the main event, Cody Rhodes entered to address the fans in attendance and at home, and talk about AEW's acquisition of ROH and IMPACT!But as Cody spoke, he was interrupted by a special guest.... {Spoiler} NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION NICK ALDIS!!Aldis confronted Cody and gave him a verbal beatdown only the National Treasure could. Aldis laid in to Cody, holding nothing back... -Nick Aldis "Cody, I'm disappointed in you. I knew you would come out here and brag about buying up the entire North American wrestling scene, brag about being the chosen one for the so-called underdog, brag about being Tony Kahn's number two...but Cody, I'm mostly disappointed that you think you deserve any of this." -Nick Aldis "There's no reason for you to be out here right now, Cody. You think that because you handed yourself a made-up title, booked yourself to be the good guy, that you deserve any praise? You had a shiny red belt made for yourself because you couldn't handle the fact that you couldn't cut it in the big leagues." Cody gets in Aldis' face, and Aldis backs down. The boos are tremendous. The low capacity COVID crowd begins to chant "WHO ARE YOU!?"-Nick Aldis "Alright alright, I struck a nerve. That's good. I can use that. Because here's the thing, Cody: you haven't earned a god damn thing since you walked into AEW, and every time you're faced with a TRUE CHAMPION, like yours truly, you hide behind your faceless, stupid followers and-" **SLAP** Nick Aldis is slapped across the face by Arn Anderson, who has heard enough. Cody and Aldis are equally shocked, but Cody's primal instincts kick in, and before Aldis can react he's struck down by Cody and tossed out of the ring. Nick Aldis lands on his feet, rubs his chin, and smiles at Cody. He knows he got under his skin, and he knows he holds all the cards.
As AEW Dynamite goes off the air, it looks like we got our answer about NWA's future....[/spoiler]

Luchasaurus w/Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz w/Jake Hager def. SCU Nyla Rose & Awesome Kong w/Vicki Guerrero def. Kris Statlander & Shanna Cody Rhodes w/Arn Anderson def. Cima Darby Allin def. Colt Cabana Highlights-Adam Page was visibly drunk for his title defence. It was hard to watch. The fans and Kenny Omega, and even The Lucha Bros, were concerned for Page's well-being. He hit a few spots but mostly the match relied on Omega, who just couldn't get the job done on his own. After losing the titles, Omega took pity on Page, shaking his head and leaving him hanging as the show went off the air. -Brian Cage continued his domination, making quick work of Luchasaurus in a one-sided hoss match. Taz held the FTW Championship high in the air while Cage hit a Double Chokeslam on Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt. -Chris Jericho left the announce table to celebrate with The Inner Circle after their victory. They gave SCU a lil bit of a bubbly shower to rub it in. -After their victory, Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong & Vicki Guerrero were confronted by NWA Women's Champion Thunder Rosa. Rosa looked at the fallen opponents, then shook hands with Vicki Guerrero, seemingly aligning herself with her dominant female faction. Backstage, #1 Contender Britt Baker & AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida both looked on in separate rooms. -After defeating Cima in his return match, Cody's celebration was cut short when NWA Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis attacked him from behind. Aldis hit a Spineshaker on Cody then locked Tully Blanchard in a Scorpion Deathlock as the crowd booed. -After losing to Darby Allin, Colt Cabana was encircled by The Dark Order on TNT Champion Brodie Lee's orders. Lee looked like he was going to take pity on Cabana, but changed his mind, and with a simple nod, The Dark Order swarmed Colt, beating him senseless. -After taking a vicious beating last week, AEW Champion Jon Moxley was not in attendance, but MJF was, and he and Wardlow took to the ring to mock Mox, and promised that when he got his rematch, he would become AEW Champion.

Cody Rhodes confirms working relationship with NWA, return of NWA POWERRR; hints at future of ROH & Impact rostersJACKSONVILLE, FL - Cody Rhodes confirmed what we already knew during a guest appearance on WOR this afternoon. Cody spoke about the working relationship between AEW and NWA, confirming that it was "in writing and official." "It just made sense for us to work together," Cody said. "Having a depth of talent in both companies and the opportunity to talent-share, work together, promote each other - it just makes sense. There's no other way to put it." Rhodes didn't go into many details but did confirm that it wasn't an outright buy like with ROH and Impact. "These are more questions for Tony [Kahn] than myself, but yeah, uh, as far as I know, ROH and Impact will cease to exist. That isn't the case with NWA." When asked what this meant for NWA Powerrr, Cody said that the plan is for it to return "any day now." "It's funny you mention that because we discussed it and it sounds like AEW Dark and NWA Powerrr are going to run side-by-side as weekly shows. At least that's the plan right now. Don't hold me to that but, uh, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what we get." We asked if that meant talent would appear on both shows and Cody simply answered "probably, yeah." When pressed about the futures of the staff and talent at ROH and Impact, Cody couldn't elaborate. "All I know is what Tony told me when we discussed the news. He said, and I'm quoting him here: 'if they want a job, they'll have one.'" Whatever that means remains to be seen. You can hear the full interview here.

Kip Sabian w/Penelope Ford Allie def. Leva Bates The Lucha Bros & The Butcher & The Blade w/Eddie Kingston def. Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks Highlights-Despite being beaten to a pulp for losing last week, Colt Cabana appeared alongside The Dark Order and even had the assist in Brodie Lee retaining the TNT title. In further display of his power, Brodie Lee then forced Colt Cabana to beat a helpless Jake Roberts with a steel chair. -Brian Cage stomped Sonny Kiss out in under 2 minutes. Cage then attempted to Powerbomb Kiss onto the entrance ramp, but was stopped by JEFF COBB! Cobb hit a shoulder block on Cage with so much momentum that he sent Cage flying off the ramp and into the plexiglass protecting the crowd. Taz could only look on in horror as Cobb approached him, then simply took the FTW title from Taz's hands and walked away with it.- MJF & Wardlow cut a segment from backstage where they once again mocked AEW Champion Jon Moxley for being absent. They mocked the fact that Moxley called himself a fighting champion, and the toughest SOB in the company, yet was nowhere to be seen. They suddenly stop mid-sentence when someone off-screen approaches them. The camera pans back to reveal RENEE PAQUETTE! The 1/5 full arena goes wild and Renee tells MJF that even though her husband couldn't be there tonight, he did ask her to deliver a message... SLAP!! Renee strikes MJF across the face and walks off with a smirk. MJF holds his face and sneers, knowing he can't do anything about it. -After The Inner Circle bests SCU for a second week in a row, Chris Jericho gets on the mic and demands satisfaction. He says that The Inner Circle has beaten everyone the company has to offer, and that it's a travesty that the top faction and biggest draw in the company has been reduced to mid-card "bullshit." He then demands that they be given a worthy opponent for next week, or maybe they'll stop showing up and "take the ratings with us." -Thunder Rosa made quick work of Big Swole and was then confronted by the tandem of Britt Baker & AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida. But before they could get a word in, Awesome Kong & Nyla Rose chased them off while Vicki Guerrero cackled at them. -What was supposed to be an 8-Man Tag Team match to kick off the show ended up being a handicap when Adam Page didn't show up. Omega and the Bucks waited as long as they could while Eddie Kingston demanded they step up or forfeit. Refusing to back down, Omega and The Bucks gave everything they had, but the numbers were too much and the match ended with The Lucha Bros holding the AEW Tag Team titles over one half of the former champs and his comrades.

Why We Didn't See Cody & Nick Aldis on Dynamite This WeekJACKSONVILLE, FL - This week's Dynamite was one for the ages, with many big matches and moments taking place, including the first appearance by a former ROH champion Jeff Cobb, who made his return to AEW by tackling Brian Cage through a sheet of plexiglass and stealing the FTW Championship from Taz. But one glaring omission was the absence of Cody & Nick Aldis. This high-profile feud kicked off two weeks ago when the NWA Heavyweight Champion appeared on an episode of Dynamite, confronting Cody and insulting everything he stands for. He called Cody a fake, a fraud, and mocked the fact that Cody had to create a championship for himself in order to call himself one. Aldis claimed he was a real champion, and that Cody was nothing compared to him. This kicked off a feud that many wrestling fans had been hoping to see again. Aldis and Cody have a history, of course, doing battle twice before. Cody won the first confrontation, fulfilling his dream of holding the Ten Pounds of Gold by defeating Aldis at AEW All In 2018. 50 days later at NWA's 70th Anniversary show, Aldis bested Cody in a 2 out of 3 Falls match and regained his title, and has held it ever since. The rubber match is going to be a good one, and PWI has the inside scoop on where this feud appears to be going. Yesterday Cody appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio and confirmed that yes, NWA and AEW were working together in an official capacity, and yes, NWA Powerrr would return to YouTube "any day now." Well, PWI sources have informed us that the reason Cody and Aldis didn't appear on Dynamite this week is because they were taping the premiere episode of Powerrr set to debut next week. This means a cross-promotion appearance on Powerrr by Cody, and it means the feud is going to span multiple platforms until these two finally do battle. But will it take place in an NWA or AEW ring? Only time will tell.

Jacksonville, FL25% Attendance Match ResultsThe Briscoes def. Proud & Powerful w/The Inner Circle FTW ChampionshipJeff Cobb (c) def. Eddie Kingston w/The Butcher & The Blade AEW Tag Team ChampionshipLucha Bros. def. Best Friends w/Orange Cassidy NWA Women's ChampionshipThunder Rosa w/Vicki Guerrero, Nyla Rose & Awesome Kong def. Britt Baker w/Hikaru Shida & Big Swole Miro, Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford def. Nightmare Family (Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall & Brandi Rhodes) w/Allie Highlights-The Inner Circle took over the ring at main event time and doubled down on their threat to leave the company if they weren't given worthy opponents. Then new music hit and Ring of Honor legends The Briscoes entered Daily's Place and asked if this was good enough. Jericho started barking orders at his stablemates and Santana & Ortiz stepped up to the plate. The match was great and even Inner Circle's greater numbers couldn't stop The Briscoes from winning their first AEW match. -After stealing the FTW Championship last week, Jeff Cobb issued an open challenge for the title, saying he would be a fighting champion unlike Brian Cage. And unlike Brian Cage, he didn't want to spend his time beating up guys a fraction his size and wanted a true challenge. Enter Eddie Kingston, who was accompanied by The Butcher & The Blade, and spitting fire the whole way to the ring. But Kingston couldn't back up his words and eventually was pinned after hitting Wrath of the Gods. After the match, Brian Cage & Taz entered the arena, and a tired Cobb called them on, but they eventually backed down, choosing to talk trash instead of fighting. -Speaking of fighting champions, The Lucha Bros put their tag titles on the line against Best Friends in a warm-up match for the upcoming All Out PPV. The match was a typical tag match with some fun spots until after the bell when Adam Page randomly showed up, clearly intoxicated. Page stumbled through the crowd and fell over the barrier onto the floor, landing beside where Orange Cassidy was sitting. Cassidy barely paid attention to Page, who eventually pulled himself to his feet and started shouting at Lucha Bros. Page mostly spewed nonsense about losing the tag titles and ruining his life until The Young Bucks showed up and forced him out of the arena. Kenny Omega was nowhere to be seen. -At the behest of manager Vicki Guerrero, Thunder Rosa put her NWA Women's Championship on the line against Britt Baker, who was accompanied for protection by AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida and Big Swole. Guerrero said that by defeating Baker, Rosa proves once and for all that she is better than every woman AEW has to offer. Nyla Rose and Awesome Kong didn't take kindly to those words, but seemingly let it go for now... -Prior to the women's title match, a mock campaign ad for #MJF2020 aired, featuring MJF & Wardlow. The ad was mostly like a usual campaign ad, with MJF stating his intentions to become AEW Champion with stock footage of farmers and nurses, then it cut to Chuck Taylor and Trent reading off pieces of paper and looking confused before the footage cut away and ended with MJF's approval of the message. -After losing to Sabian, Ford and newcomer Miro, Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall and Brandi Rhodes took the loss very hard. Things haven't been good for the Nightmare Family, and Allie took notice. After winning her match last week, Allie stormed out on the rest of the stable as they argued among one another. ... To kick off the show, Cody Rhodes was joined in the ring by Tony Schiavone. Cody addressed the fans, then announced that since their COVID-19 protocols had been so successful for live shows, AEW All Out would be taking place in front of a 50% capacity crowd! He got a big cheer and AEW chants for that, then modestly said it was thanks to the hard work of all the unseen staff and the fans for being trustworthy in these... "HARD TIMES!"Another big pop. Cody then addressed the elephant in the room, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis. Cody acknowledged his appearance on NWA Powerrr last night, which culminated with a brawl between him and Aldis that required they be separated by NWA staff. Cody said that wasn't going to happen tonight, because Nick Aldis is now refusing to appear on AEW Dynamite. Then Cody was interrupted by Aldis appearing on the screen above the stage, streaming live from the NWA Powerrr set. Aldis stated that Cody was right, he wasn't going to enter Daily's Place tonight, or ever again. He said AEW Dynamite was an inferior show, that Cody and everyone else were inferior wrestlers, and that the company was filled with inferior champions, something Thunder Rosa was going to prove later in the evening. Cody told Aldis that if he wasn't going to come to Daily's Place, then maybe he'd send someone there instead. Suddenly, AEW CHAMPION JON MOXLEY appears behind Nick Aldis, and the beatdown is on! Caught completely unawares, Moxley has his way with Aldis, talking trash the entire time, and eventually throwing him through a wall on the NWA Powerrr set! As the camera zoomed in on Aldis, Cody asked him if he still thought AEW had inferior champions, and told him that if he didn't show up for a fight at All Out, he was nothing but a coward.

BREAKING: NWA Powerrr returns; will lead in to AEW DarkATLANTA, GA - Starting this Tuesday, NWA Powerrr will return. Live episodes will stream from Atlanta on YouTube every Tuesday at 8pm. Furthermore, the show will act as a lead-in for AEW Dark, which will also air on YouTube from Jacksonville live at 9pm. This announcement doesn't come as a surprise given AEW and NWA's close relationship, however it's interesting given the recent buyout of ROH and Impact by Tony Kahn and AEW. Kahn bought the companies outright and dissolved them, however he clearly has a working relationship with NWA and intends on keeping that company intact and prominent, now pushing it with the AEW banner to prop it up. It's no secret that AEW's higher ups have a soft spot for NWA, given its history and the family history of one Cody Rhodes, but whatever the reason it's a welcome decision. In fact, the relationship appears so strong, that the first main event on NWA Powerrr in nearly six months will be a Champion vs Champion match between NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis and AEW Champion Jon Moxley! Neither title will be on the line, but after Moxley's surprise attack on Aldis last week, it was only a matter of time before these two did battle. Time will tell when Aldis and Cody will meet in the ring for a 3rd and final match, and what that will entail, but in the meantime, we're getting one hell of a return match. Tune in to NWA Powerrr and AEW Dark this Tuesday beginning at 8pm EST.

BREAKING: Adam Page suspendedATLANTA, GA - AEW has officially announced the suspension of "Hangman" Adam Page. No timeline has been given for his return. Page appeared on the season premiere of NWA Powerrr last night and was visibly intoxicated. Page crashed a promo being given by Aron Stevens and verbally berated both Stevens and The Question Mark. Page's rant was mostly incoherent and filled with curse words, and when Kyle Durden tried to intervene and save the promo, Page slapped him and was then swarmed and escorted out of the building by security. The appearance by Page was immediately denounced by Tony Kahn and AEW as not part of the show, and the suspension was announced a few hours later. It appears the suspension is indefinite. PWI reached out to NWA for comment and President Billy Corgan simply commented that "these things happen," and "we don't hold AEW responsible at all, and continue to look forward to the relationship we're building."

Darby Allin, Dustin Rhodes & Joey Janela w/Sunny Kiss Highlights-Before the tag team gauntlet match got underway, MJF & Wardlow took over the ring and MJF aired his grievances, mainly that AEW Champion Jon Moxley returned from injury in the safety of Atlanta, Georgia. He questioned why Moxley is picking on unsuspecting "lesser Champions" like Nick Aldis and not facing him, but then answers his own question by saying he's afraid. This, of course, draws out Moxley, who drilled Wardlow in the back of the head with the AEW title but couldn't get his hands on MJF before he scurried away. Wardlow took his beating but Moxley wanted the #1 contender. -AEW Full Gear is right around the corner and once again, Lance Archer is the #1 Contender to the TNT title. Last time he faced Brodie Lee for the title, The Dark Order was the difference, and Taz commented on this in an interview with Tony Schiavone after the Fatal Fourway. That's when Archer was approached by the man he pinned, Dustin Rhodes, and the rest of The Nightmare Family, who we last saw arguing amongst themselves after losing a six-person tag match to Kip Sabian, Miro & Penelope Ford. Rhodes told Archer that The Nightmare Family had his back, because they share a common enemy. Archer thanked Rhodes by grabbing him by the throat and shouting "EVERYBODY DIES" before Chokeslamming him. -Jeff Cobb once again defended the FTW Championship, and Ricky Starks was unable to win it back for his group. But no matter, the match was only a trap, as the second the bell rang, Brian Cage hit the ring and destroyed Jeff Cobb with a steel chair as Taz and Ricky Starks looked on. -And after a big win on their debut, The Briscoes will face Lucha Bros at Full Gear for the AEW Tag Team Championship after winning the 45+ minute long tag team gauntlet match. In order of appearance... -The Young Bucks & Proud & Powerful started off. -The Young Bucks pinned Proud & Powerful. -The Young Bucks pinned Best Friends. -The Briscoes pinned The Young Bucks. -The Briscoes pinned FTR (we were THAT close to them being in the ring at the same time...) -The Briscoes pinned The Butcher & The Blade. Cody Rhodes w/Brandi Rhodes "Title vs. Title" - AEW Women's Championship & NWA Women's ChampionshipThunder Rosa w/Vicki Guerrero def. Hikaru Shida AEW Tag Team ChampionshipThe Lucha Bros. (c) def. The Briscoes TNT ChampionshipLance Archer w/Jake Roberts def. Brodie Lee (c) FTW ChampionshipJeff Cobb (c) def. Brian Cage w/Taz Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford w/Miro def. QT Marshall & Allie w/Dustin Rhodes The Inner Circle (Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz) w/Jake Hager def. Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade "The Villain" MARTY SCURLL answered Chris Jericho's Open Challenge! Marty Scurll def. Chris Jericho HIGHLIGHTS-After defending the AEW Championship in a brutal match, Jon Moxley was attacked by a returning PAC! As PAC laid the beat down on Mox, MJF laughed through a bloodied mouth and eventually offered his hand to PAC, insinuating that PAC was joining him. This was met with a Pele Kick from PAC that knocked MJF out cold, then Eddie Kingston and his group walked into the arena, announcing that PAC was in fact the "newest member of his family." PAC embraced his past Death Triangle partners The Lucha Bros, who were wearing the AEW Tag Team titles, and the six men stood tall to close the show. -Match of the night was easily Aldis vs. Cody for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. It was a tough, stiff fight, and the bad blood between the two was obvious, but through the blood, sweat and tears, the two earned one another's respect. After Aldis got the win, Cody was man enough to put the NWA title around his waist, and Aldis was man enough to shake Cody's hand before exiting the ring. -Shockwaves through the AEW Women's division as Thunder Rosa won the AEW Women's Championship off Hikaru Shida. Rosa won the title with the assistance of Nyla Rose & Awesome Kong, who were quickly put in their place and beside themselves as they watched Thunder Rosa leave on her own with both titles, while Vicki Guerrero cackled and waved goodbye. Nyla Rose & Awesome Kong realized their mistake when it was already too late, and took their frustrations out on Big Swole and Britt Baker, who were in the ring checking on Shida. This drew out the likes of Kris Statlander, Penelope Ford, Allie, Anna Jay, Serena Deeb, Riho...basically the entire Women's locker room spilled into the ring and brawled, unable to come to terms with the fact their biggest prize was just stolen from the company. -The Briscoes were handed their first loss and humbled by the reigning tag team champs, the Lucha Bros, who were enjoying their victory until "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows crashed the ring, attacking everyone they could get their hands on. The first people to jump to AEW from the recently bought out IMPACT! had staked their claim, and they were putting the already stacked tag division on notice. -The Nightmare Family, Dustin Rhodes included, stayed true to their word and stood guard against The Dark Order during the TNT Championship match. And when Lance Archer was victorious, they quickly realized they may have unleashed an even worse monster on AEW... -Jeff Cobb legitimized himself as the FTW Champion by defeating Brian Cage one-on-one for the first time since stealing the title from Taz. And it seems like that was all Cobb wanted to prove, because after being awarded the FTW title, Cobb took one last look at it and tossed it at Taz before leaving the arena, completing the ultimate insult. -The trio of Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford & Miro continue their winning ways, and Kip & Miro agreed after the match that their next goal was the AEW Tag Team titles. That division grows by the day and it's anyone's game right now. -The Inner Circle returned to the W column with a big and much-needed win over Kingston's family. -Chris Jericho's open challenge was met by The Villain, another ROH outcast looking to stake their claim. And stake it he did when Marty Scurll got the victory over the former AEW Champion. Jericho's Inner Circle stormed the ring after the match but Scurll was too quick, and twirled his umbrella as he sauntered through the roaring half-capacity crowd. -And finally, The Elite were a glaring omission from the PPV. Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks were nowhere to be seen, and perhaps the most surprising thing about their absence was the fact that nobody really noticed until after the show. AEW got along just fine without them, and you have to wonder if that is hanging heavy over the company's namesake stable...

I don't follow actual AEW, so it's a bit baseless for me to say... But RT does an infinitely better job booking that promotion than Cody, Khan, et al. Like, I actually LIKE following AEW in here. Credit to RT's fan fiction writing and booking skills!

Jacksonville, FL50% Attendance Match Results10-Women Battle RoyaleBritt Baker def. ten other women to become the #1 Contender to the AEW Women's Championship Eddie Kingston & PAC def. MJF & Wardlow FTW ChampionshipBrian Cage w/Taz def. Orange Cassidy Marty Scurll def. Darby Allin FTR & Shawn Spears w/Tully Blanchard def. Private Party & Matt Hardy Highlights-An announcement earlier in the day from Tony Kahn brought us the main event of the evening: a 10-woman Battle Royale to determine who would be loaned to NWA Powerrr with the sole purpose of bringing home the AEW Women's Championship. Britt Baker earned that honour, last eliminating a returning Riho. -Hikaru Shida did not participate in the match, stating on social media that she was ashamed of her loss and needed to step aside for now. -During the Battle Royale, Awesome Kong & Nyla Rose imploded, going at one another as soon as they were in the ring together. Perhaps both embarrassed for the role they played in Thunder Rosa taking the women's title to NWA, their egos got the best of them and while battling in the corner, the gigantic duo were eliminated by four other women working together. -The newest member of Eddie Kingston's family, the returning PAC, teamed up with Kingston against two men they slighted last night at Full Gear, MJF & Wardlow. Bitter about losing an AEW Championship match for a second time, MJF had a lot to get off his chest, but it wasn't enough to take down the elusive PAC and the gritty Kingston. PAC pinned Wardlow after a Black Arrow. -After the match, MJF got on the mic and was heated as all hell. He called out Jon Moxley, who obliged, but grabbed his own mic and before MJF could speak, Mox laid down some ground rules: he told MJF he wasn't getting in the ring until Wardlow was gone, and that this would be the last time he would grace MJF with his presence. -MJF agreed to the terms, then said what he had to say... -MJF "Jon, on two occasions I've faced you for the AEW Championship, and on two occasions, I've come up short. I threw everything I had at you, and it wasn't enough. I can admit to myself, and all the people watching, that I gave my absolute best, and you beat me." "That being said, I know in my heart that I deserve to be AEW Champion. I know in my heart that I WILL be AEW Champion. That time isn't right now, but that time will come. I've done everything in my power to make that a reality, but right now, it isn't good enough. I'm not good enough. And I can admit that." MJF gets nose to nose with Jon Moxley, who doesn't flinch.-MJF "But all this experience has done is make me better. It's made me hungrier. It's made me a different man, a better man. A man that is going to take that title from you, Jon. You know it, and I know it. I might not be next in line anymore, but that doesn't matter. You're going to defend against whatever scrub steps up next, and you're going to win. Because that's what you do, Jon. You win. You're the best in the company...right now. And there isn't anyone back there that knows you like I do, and knows that I'm the only real challenge you have left. So go. Go defend. Set the bar as high as you can, Jon. Because when I get my next shot... I'm not going to miss." MJF drops his microphone and exits, leaving Jon Moxley with the AEW Championship and a smirk on his face.-The FTW Championship was once again presented to Brian Cage by Taz in a special ceremony, one that was mocked and booed heavily by the fans in attendance because of the absurdity of it all. Just the night prior, Jeff Cobb beat Brian Cage, and Cage only had the title because Cobb threw it at Taz after winning. -Cage graciously accepted, but was interrupted when Orange Cassidy wandered to ringside. Cage took this as a challenge, which Cassidy didn't realize he was doing, but moments later the two were fighting for the title. Cassidy held his own but Cage's size and speed was too much, and he "defended" his FTW Championship yet again. - Marty Scurll got a big pop as he entered for his match with Darby Allin. The two put on a good show and Scurll got the win, but was quickly chased off by The Inner Circle. Scurll got away, but Allin wasn't so lucky, and took the brunt of The Inner Circle's ire while Chris Jericho shouted at Scurll to get back in the ring. - Shawn Spears returned to Dynamite for the first time in months, rejoining his mentor Tully Blanchard and his current disciples, FTR. The trio looked amazing as they made relatively quick work of Private Party & Matt Hardy.

Jacksonville, FL50% Attendance Match ResultsBattle for the Final Spot in the Tag Team TournamentThe Inner Circle (Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara) def. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) Loser Leaves TownThe Good Brothers def. The Briscoes Riho def. Serena Deeb Orange Cassidy w/Best Friends def. Colt Cabana Shawn Spears w/Tully Blanchard def. Marty Scurll (via DQ) The Lucha Bros w/Eddie Kingston def. Proud & Powerful w/Chris Jericho Highlights-The final spot in the Tag Team Tournament was decided in tonight's main event. Both The Inner Circle and The Dark Order were given the opportunity to have a second team represent them in the tournament, and it was The Inner Circle who ended up victorious. -After the match, every single team involved in the tournament ended up in a brawl that spread from the ring to the parking lot. -The two newest tag teams to join AEW were given some bad news: this town ain't big enough for the both of you. Tony Kahn announced just before the show went on the air that Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows, otherwise known as The Good Brothers, would take on The Briscoes in a Loser Leaves Town match. The winner gets to stay in AEW, the loser has to find a new home. And when it was all said and done, The Briscoes went from fighting for the tag team titles just 10 days ago to packing their bags. - Riho returned to in-ring singles action and got a big win over Serena Deeb. The women's division is at a very strange crossroads given current events, so every win counts, and Riho proved she hasn't lost a step in her absence. - Colt Cabana had been off on hiatus for a few weeks since being made an example of by Brodie Lee. Cabana's status in The Dark Order was up in the air, until tonight, when Lee informed Cabana that if he lost his match with Orange Cassidy, he was out for good. And, well...he lost. -After a big six-man tag win with FTR last week, Shawn Spears looked to continue his hot streak against newcomer Marty Scurll. Spears was fairly dominant in the match but both he and Scurll spent a lot of time trying to out-cheat one another. The match ended when Spears got a hold of Scurll's umbrella while Tully Blanchard distracted the referee, but then opened it and tossed it aside instead of using it, falling to the ground and faking injury when the ref turned around. Scurll was disqualified, and The Villain may have met his match for now. -The night opened with Chris Jericho calling out Eddie Kingston. Jericho informed Kingston that he didn't like what he was seeing, that Kingston was encroaching on his turf, and The Inner Circle had taken notice. Kingston propsed a turf war, a preview of things to come with the tag team tournament, and put the Champs front and centre. Proud & Powerful stepped up, and it was one hell of a match, but the tag champs reigned supreme in a close battle.
