We touched on 3D All-Stars in another thread but despite being a massive disappointment it still interests me. It seems like it's going to go for $70 AUD which is too steep. Maybe if it included every Mario game leading up to Maker, sure but only three platformers? This might be peak Nintendo stinginess.
Avenger's sounds like a really bland AAA game. From what I gather, the game actually shows some potential, namely in the skill-trees and how varied each hero becomes as the game continues. Unfortunately the campaign is just so unimaginative and short you never really get a good excuse to explore those mechanics. It also has a lot of bugs which is really plaguing everyone's experience. I'm hearing a lot of vanilla Destiny comparisons, so maybe it'll improve once it moves onto next gen.

3D All Stars(Will be bumping that retro thread up for the first two games) probably the lone September game I buy. Crash Bandicoot new entry in early October is the next game I am ready for.
Have been playing Tell Me Why(Starting up episode 2 shortly and Episode 3 comes to end the week) which is free on XBOX Game Pass.....tell me why I should continue to play this because I am starting to think DONTNOD(Life is Strange) might be a one trick pony. Having an exciting cliffhanger on an episode does not erase the boring pace of 3/4 of the game!

Nintendo continues to feed the scalpers/gaugers mouths with this nonsense. Same with the Battle Royale NES Mario game they are giving away for free on Nintendo Switch online membership. I don't get why.

They have form as well, the 25th Anniversary was one of the biggest disappointments of that generation with Nintendo just releasing a port of the SNES game and a bunch of half-assed CDs and booklets alongside it.
It's frustrating too since I've waited so long for them to port over some N64 games. So far all we've seen is remasters for Turok, Turok 2 and Doom 64. I'd seriously spend hundreds if they started porting over some N64 and GameCube games.
