So I'm bringing the Let's Play series back and I'm doing Super Mario 2 to start with. Video's a tad long @ 30 minutes, but it was mostly me testing things out. And maybe doing that thing I do where I ramble about nothing. Check it out. Or not!

Peach only gets captured for attention. If she actually tried she could beat Bowser alone.

Pretty sure as of video 2 you already made it farther then me.

Only one world this time as I was barely able to get through it. Fish, waterfalls and those damn fire spewing flowers were kicking my ass all afternoon even if the video doesn't make it seem like it. Practice made perfect. And hey Toad always seems to make the thumbnail!

The main reason I didn't like this game is because of those bugger masks that chased you whenever you had a key. I had no idea you could just drop the key and they stop chasing you!

I believe the shy guys will fall on me if they touch the tunnel I've dugged. So I move every few lumps.

The desktop is anime videos. The subbing group calls themselves [Horrible Subs].

I tackle the next world. Despite redoing it like a dozen times it almost looks easy, but none of my other attempts went as flawless as the recording. One world to go and we complete Mario 2!

Awesome. I was a Genesis kid personally but MAS/Duck Hunt was always my go to when it came to playing Nintendo at my uncle and aunt's house and the sounds alone bring back so much nostalgia. And yes, the American Mario 2 is the best one of all. I'll definitely be following this, Ness-san.

P.S. - Luigi > Mario

Slot machines in games is a minor pet peeve. Hate 'em. Also the music in SMB2 sucks dick. There's like three songs in the whole game.

Watched the final SMB2 video. You bossed that final world, except for the final boss itself. You got there in the end!

I just finished DKC1 on Nintendo Switch and am about to go at DKC2 while on my 7 day free Nintendo Online pass! Would be cool to play along your playthrough!

Starting DKC2. First world and there's problems.

LOVE seeing this game!

1) You can use special attacks(Rambi has a vital chargeup for instance, Enguarde has his charge up swimming stab) with your animal companions which was the case in the 1st level with the K Coin. Could not do this in the 1st game. Rambi, Enguarde and Snake can do it only. Sorry Squawks and Squiggy the Spider.

2) You can kill rope dudes by jumping and landing on them but you can't grab the rope or else that ends the jumping animation and will hurt you.

A tad long for the 2nd world. I died a bunch of times. Embarrassing.

Also Barrel Bayou can eat a dick.

Managed to beat the annoying first level that I complained about yesterday. Also died a few times, skipped the bonus world for time purposes and beat the boss flawlessly!

Litmus test of how aggressive you should be vs how non-aggressive you should be. 

Wish you would do the lost world's, I wanna see Animal Antics so bad :lol: I just 100% DKC2 and that level frustrated me to no end, by far the toughest level(Or well part) in the game.

This does not include the Boss fight. Since I had issues last time I'd rather record it fresh than hoping I get lucky at the end of the recording. Also have plans to do the bonus levels as sort of a pre-world to the final boss. Might even strive for 102% (or whatever the official count is) as well. Not on screen as you don't need to see me going DK Coin hunting.
