An brutal slate of primetime games this week, marone! On Thursday night we have one of the worst looking matchups I can ever remember with the 31st and 32nd team by DVOA battle it out. The Broncos are already on their third QB of the season (and their ninth in the last four seasons!) while the Jets plumb new depths of organisational ineptitude. At least that game shapes up to potentially be a contest (of suck) compared to SNF and MNF which have the potential to be very one-sided.

One of the better looking games of the week is in jeopardy with the Titans and Steelers affected by the COVID outbreak amongst the Tennessee players and coaches. That leaves the Patriots and the Chiefs as one of the only games between "contenders" - with New England finally travelling to KC after seemingly hosting this game at Foxboro for the past 20 seasons. :lol:

I would have gone Just End The Season personally as the title but yeah!

Going to be a big day if the Jets lose, we have yet to hold a lead in a football game this year! If it's another bad loss, Gase is gone!

Who thought of putting the Falcons on MNF? I know almost everybody has to do a dreaded TNF game but what about this?

Titans/Vikings POSTPONED. MNF remains an option.

Houston finally wins, but Minnesota remains winless. BUT if Houston loses, it could be time for Bill O'Brien to get NUK'd out of Houston.

TB12 throws his first TD to Gronk in 2 years and the Bucs beat the Chargers in a game that shouldn't have been as close as it was.

Josh Allen remains undefeated (yay RT ) as they beat the Raiders who are down 2 WRs.

Russ outduels Fitzmagic in a shoot out. Seattle remains undefeated.

The Eagles finally win on SNF by beating/upsetting (?) the 49ers. Sorry pduh , but Zack Ertz is about to go 11/150/2 in this game.


Monday Night Football deserves it's own space. It is going to be a great game with....

MNF leads to the 2nd (maybe 3rd) HC firing. With 92 seconds left, down 3, Matt Ryan hits Calvin Ridley for a 14 yard TD pass (his 2nd of the game!). The Falcons are now up 28-24! CAN THEY HOLD THE LEAD?!

UT goes irate. He doesn't understand how GB can't stop ON3 MAN! ON3 MAN ALL GAME! ALL THEY GOT IS RIDLEY! HOW DO THEY LET HIM SCORE TWO FUCKING TIMES?! WHY?! WHY?! TO FUCKING ATLANTA NO LESS!

The Falcons kick it in the end zone and GB has to go 75 yards in 92 seconds to win. On 3rd and 10 from their own 25, Aaron Rodgers changes the landscape by hitting MVS for a 33 yard play. The Packers use one of their final 2 timeouts. However, on the next play Lazard drops an open pass. On the following play, Aaron Rodgers mishandles the snap and is taken down for a 4 yard loss. The Packers are forced to use their final time out at the 46 yard line. With 17 seconds left, it's time for MJ. On 3rd and 14, Aaron Rodgers scrambles and throws the ball toward the sideline, but it bounces off of the finger tips of Robert Tonyan!

On that play; he will be the smallest guy on the field.

And it definitely could be a trap game. The Falcons could be playing for their coaches job. Unlike the Jets who should purposely lose to get rid of Gase.

Now I’m just upset that Aaron Jones isn’t on the field in this hypothetical scenario.

And Lazard don’t drop big passes. Literally perfect up to this point in those situations.

If they have a RB on the field for a Hail Mary play he's going to stay in to block.

Titans/Steelers gets scheduled for Week 7, Ravens are given a BYE week Week 7 INSTEAD. Ravens/Steelers end up facing each other Week 8 instead of having BYE weeks then.

The NFL really should have shown a bit of foresight and built in additional bye weeks into the schedule to accommodate the likelihood of postponed games. This game was actually relatively easy to reschedule, but as time goes on it will become more difficult, and the only safeguard they really have is the Pro Bowl week.
