A little bit late on this one. I was tossing up whether or not to buy Baldur's Gate 3. Originally it was supposed to come out last month but when I learned it would only be the first act of the game and they expected full price for it I was turned off. Besides, I've had Baldur's Gate 2 sitting in my library just waiting to be played. I actually loaded it up the other night and I have no idea what I'm doing. I just learning as I go along, but it really is a random fluke if I just win or lose battles. I'll quick save, load up and progress if my guys on autopilot win and just roll the dice if they lose. I'm still kind of enjoying it, especially when I can loot everything and get my inner clypto going but I've got so much to learn.
Otherwise I've been all about the TF2 Halloween update. I completed all 24 contracts not that long ago. Some stages were great and players flocked to them, but there were some stages late where you could barely get a 6 on 6 and the teams are never even. Either you pub stomp the other team, or you get pub stomped by 6 other people while the rest of your team just mucks about. Ordinarily I don't care and just let people have fun on TF2 but when you're playing so many rounds just to move onto the next map it gets frustrating. Now that I'm done, I'm enjoying just loading up maps and skipping around each turn.
Curious to pick up the Crown Tundra DLC in Pokemon, but again the $45 price tag is a major turn off. I still need to organise a trade at some point to complete the Dex, but this is easily the one Pokemon game I find myself bored with. I don't know, outside of legendary catch rates, which sound like a lot of the legends I fought in B/W 2 how is the gameplay? Better than the main game or just more of the same with Hop constantly interrupting the flow every 10 steps?
I feel like I'm going to have to go back to past threads and update them since I skipped over some games that became big. Early access keeps throwing me off, so a game like Hades completely skipped my radar because I remember it coming out in 2018. It's an awesome game and a genuine GotY contender. Genshin Impact not so much, but it's gained bit of a following which is nearly as absurd as the Among Us craze.
But really I'm just waiting for this Cyberpunk 2077 to come out. Curious to visit Night City and whether the game holds up despite some pretty disappointing news in the past few weeks about cut features and the like.

I can answer you on Pokemon DLC, the catch rates are silly and it becomes "Save, Fight, Load" if you don't catch them. Even worse, most of the fights are under hail so that means HP will chip away for plenty of the legendary fights. So you have only ___ turns to catch them before they succumb to the hail. The three birds are so cool though, the typing are so far out with them. Very little Hop in this, the only time he is prevalent is the new tag team tourney that awaits after you finish the two DLC and main game.
I would spend a couple of hours on these 3 dogs(Not Gen 2, some other ones I have never seen before), just praying my ultra ball gets em. That and this Beldum thing are ridiculous to catch, I spent almost as much time reloading and trying to catch them as I did the actual story  They are powerful too, they sword dance, sword dance and pop you with steel or fighting moves and it can even hurt my Zacian that's level 100.
Pokemon DLC, Fall Guys Season 2 and Crash 4 took away my October.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe Pokemon Shield DLC
Crash 4 (though I'm waiting to see if it comes to the Switch, that way I can have it on the same system as the trilogy)
