I saw (Buddy) Murphy defeat Cedric Alexander for the prestigious cruiserweight title live... I’m Australian it’s slim pickings. sandylea and I did however get to see Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan), Nigel McGuiness, Kid Kash, Billy Kidman & Austin Aries perform on AWF Supercard that was held at 8pm on a Sunday night.. with a live crowd of 25 people. sandylea got Bryan’s autograph having no idea who he was 😂 (if you do a Sunday show do it on the afternoon!)

It looks pretty tame by todays standards but back in 84 this was pretty crazy. The camera angles are not the best. And yes I was there live.

I'll have to come back to particular spots. But there were 2 shows that were holy shit moments in there selves. Both ECW and both times it was the last show the promotion ran in this venue. First was October 1996 at some baseball park. It was Kronus vs Pitbull 2. Shane Douglas and Francine were at ringside. They were still doing the short live alliance between Shane and the Eliminators. I've heard the triple threat was originally planned to be those 3. Shane was getting white nuclear heat. He spent most of the match going at it with fans. Francine ended up taking a crazy bump. Match ended when Shane jumped the Pitbull. So much stuff was getting thrown at him. He started fighting with some fans. Pitbull and Kronus joined in. The whole locker room ended up coming out.
Second was at the Greyhound Park were mass transit happened. In the timeline shoot for ECW 98, New Jack mentions two venues in Ohio that were close to each other. One was happy with a Lance Storm/Chris Candido match, the other just wanted blood and weapons. That describes these two place I'd go to near Boston. The IBEW hall I worked at was happy with Jerry Lynn and people like that wrestling. The greyhound park wanted to see Balls Mahoney bash someones head in and the Sandman sting people with the cane. This was right after the big Dudleys breaking Bealuh's neck angle. It was supposded to be all 3 of them and Jack Victory vs Dreamer, New Jack, Axl, and Balls. Right as they came out the Dudleys were getting a lot of stuff thrown at them. They kept fucking with people. There was a confrontation with Buh Buh or Big Dick. Whoever it was they beat the person up quick and now chairs and everything throwable were getting tossed in the ring and at them. Their four opponents came out, but more to back them up. So did most of the locker room to stop this. The match never happened.
