Most everyone finds the Young Bucks annoying so they're obviously way better in this douche heel role than whatever it was they were trying to be before. Fenix's crazy double team top rope spot was so cool. Fantastic to see the women's division really start to be featured more on Dynamite. A marquee match, a feature match and a promo is where things should be in 2021 - hopefully this becomes a regular occurrence. Tyson KOing Dax was great. I'm looking forward to whatever War Games esque match they do for Inner Circle vs Pinnacle. You sure you not on the Inner Circle side of the fence? Because last week Jericho make a comment about not being able to tell Dax and Cash apart. And Cash was the one that got KTFO.

I couldn't tell you which one was which in most AEW tag teams to be honest.

Why are they doing the War Games match on TV? They have a PPV a few weeks later, very strange.

AEW is really picking up some steam recently. It's been a long time since I watched an entire Dynamite, and I wanted to watch everything. I have skipped Young Bucks matches for a very long time. They have the biggest go away heat in the company. Yes, even more than Cody. But this promo by Kenny sold me on their heel turn and convinced me the Bucks would conduct themselves a little different this week. And so they did. They wrestled a more grounded heelish style. There was still flourishes of that awful spot-monkey-choreographed-swing-dance style (Fenix doesn't help with that - he's arguably even worse than the Bucks) but in general it was pretty entertaining. Loved the finish - you can hardly get more heel than that. I'm impressed with the new direction of the Bucks. Keep it up, lads. And AEW - give PAC something better to do. First time I've seen either Jade Cargill or Red Velvet in a match. Not paid any attention to them before because they were involved with two people I care nothing for: Cody and a celebrity. I liked this match. It had a lot of fire and heat, everything they did made sense. My only issue is that it seemed a bit too easy for Jade to win. Like they are not in the same league. Maybe that's the point? Either way, entertaining segment. Did not like the Anthony Agogo squash. Some guy selling his ribs after a punch is enough for the ref to stop the match? Give me a break. This isn't MMA. In that case every single pro-wrestling match should be stopped when one guy takes the first big bump. Tyson kinda ruining his aura by wearing pink shorts in his enforcer role. Jericho vs Dax sucked, just something to keep the Inner Circle vs Pinnacle momentum going. Kris Statlander is looking incredible. She's in great shape, and she has a confidence and swagger that I've not seen before. Welcome back. Taz is such a cartoon character isn't he? His modus operandi: "Hey, wanna join Team Taz? Yes or No. Simple question. But if you say No, you are my enemy for life and my guys will destroy you for eternity.". Such a mindless, lazy way of setting up a feud. I'm getting tired of the Darby Allin formula. I get it, "you gotta kill me to beat me", that's his shtick. But his matches all have a sense of inevitability about them. 20 minute match, he gets outwrestled pretty effortlessly and beat up for 18 of those minutes, kicks out of everything, then wins. There's no real suspense in his matches because he's basically invincible. Back before Darby won the TV title, when he lost every so often, I did get that sense that he was tough, but was able to beat guys through his unorthodox wrestling style, his agility and his unpredictability. Now he's just a skinny guy who is somehow 10 times tougher than everyone else. He doesn't outwrestle his opponents anymore, he just kicks out of everything and wins. That show started off very well and kinda petered out by the end.

I was surprised that it was as competitive as it was actually, didn't really expect them to run a match through the commercial break because of how dominant Jade has been presented. It's wild how good they both are for such little experience. I really feel like Jade could be an absolute megastar, and thank goodness Brandi got pregnant so Velvet could slot into her position instead.

You're not even joking, Darby kicked out of a twist of fate with the chair wrapped around his neck and then moments later kicks out of a guillotine legdrop off the top of a ladder through a table. It's just overkill and they can't just give a guy like Matt any semblence of heat. If you're going to have him take up precious television time the least you could do is present him as a credible threat.
The difference before and after is clearly Sting. They need to find excuses to get Sting involved so Darby takes on these stables where Sting has to even up the odds. As a result, Darby has to do even more selling to make sense of Sting's involvement. I think that's partially the reason why they booked Darby against JD Drake. The other is that they wanted to showcase Drake and the TNT Championship is being booked more like an open challenge title.
I couldn't get over Nick whiffing the superkick. Seriously the one move their known for and it wasn't even close.

AEW got 1.2 million viewers on Wednesday.
That's good. I see AEW and NXT doing better when they're not against each other.

Great point, Big Pete. Sting really is not working. Darby was better off alone. I'd be happy if it all leads up to Lance vs Darby with Archer taking the gold.
