My son told me that I’m weird and my wife said “yeah have fun.”

So yeah. I’m ready for the tournament now. 😂

Glad to see the cards posted. Got distracted last night when I began watching a PW Top 100 tv series, and I’m still at work right now, but I’ll read, vote, and comment on all the matchups this evening. I’m seeing a lot of voting but very few comments. Step up your game, PW.

Problem is reading a Fan Fic Draft entry takes a lot of time, having 12 dumped on everyone at once makes it difficult, even with a 3 day voting window.

I'll read them of course but I'll inevitably end up skim reading some and making more snap judgments.

Maybe it's better to stagger the matches in the future. Have one at a time, focused discussion on each one.

Perhaps a block at a time. Oh well next year.

I didn't think of it until it was too late. I think I can extend the voting. If I can I'll tack on more time.

EDIT: I can remove the poll and add a new one but that will delete the votes already cast.

Next time I'll know better. Didn't look at any entries until it was time to post them so I didn't consider how long they all were.

I love you guys. This is so fun. Watching people’s brains flow and reading what they dream up is something that got me hooked on Fan Fic to begin with. Some incredible minds.

Yeah I'm down for that. It's only 3 matches next round but I can still stagger them. We'll remember this in the future.

As for KING KID's idea I think we tried doing multiple drafts before and didn't have much interest but that was back when PW wasn't just made up of our loser asses who check in every day and have nothing better to do. :lol:

I'm up for doing two a year. Whoever wins has to defend the title in like Oct/Nov-ish. As long as we have it wrapped well before Christmas I think it'll work out.

Aye, I was thinking the same mate. No reason why we can’t give this another go in late Oct/early Nov. Ness had the perfect analogy when he said these drafts can be like the casual viewer watching Rumble and Mania - that’s my vibe haha. Give the second draft of the year some sort of twist or even maybe see people partner up to draft, some sort of angle anyway. Ha’way the draft!

I'm up for all that, should be swell to do.

Spring and Fall: The Autobiography of Sin Cara. Like that whole character feels like a bad fan fic.

One of these two annual drafts should be a gimmick draft where we implement the wacky rules that were rejected in this draft. I'd be interested in that, particularly the bodyslam rule of basically not drafting any obvious names.

I love and agree with everything Dr. Emperor has posted.

The two drafts per year and wacky rule ideas have my support.

RT thanks for giving us a few days to vote. The walls of text burned me out. I was going to just plow through tonight anyway until seeing we had until the 11th to get our votes in. I'll come back to the rest tomorrow. 

I'm so down for gimmicky drafting but at the same time, rules/gimmicks per round is a tough thing to pull off. We need to find a common ground. Nothing over the top crazy but still fun.

The Spin the Wheel Make the Deal Draft I was in one FB went really well. We capped it at 8 I think though.

I also pitched an 'Invasion' draft there, though here I would call it the 'Split?' Draft. Everyone drafts 10-12 guys, then you're randomly paired with a PARTNER for the voting rounds, and all of your matches must pit your rosters against each other, so you have to collaborate. Then, the pairs get re-randomized each round.

Yeah that sounds amazing.. so long as the pairs aren’t made until after the drafting is done.
