So Sega just had their own Nintendo like direct called Sonic Central to celebrate 30 years of the blue blur. Some of the tidbits from this event include...

- A remake (remaster?) of Sonic Colors which will be released on September 7th, as well as a two-part animated series called Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps.

- Sonic Prime news, which I guess is the Netflix series.

- New Sonic the Hedgehog game from Sonic Team teased for 2022.

- Sonic Origins, which is a compilation of games (Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic CD).

The Sonic collections have been done to death, however, I'm definitely considering picking up Sonic Colors Ultimate.

I coulda sworn I replied to this earlier.

Since a new game is not coming out this year and instead they're doing some remasters but have NEW toons in the can I wonder if that's his future. Maybe his gaming is done and he's found a niche for himself.

I really hope they stick to one sonic. I don't like multiverse Sonics so they can do both 2d and 3d levels.

Also think they should try a Sonic based on SatAM.
