The only disappointment is that there really wasn't a huge holiday season announcement. SMTV is huge for JRPG fans, but it's a niche game. You think they're banking on the Pokemon Gen 4 remakes to sell like hotcakes? I completely forgot about those.
I'd say so and they'll sell but they're not going to review well at all. They look like such low-effort remakes, unless they go all out and really appeal to the hardcore fans they're going to be 6/10 games at best.
As far as I'm concerned, Pokemon Legends is the true follow-up to Shield and Sword.

Be nice if they announced the Switch Pro or whatever soon, constant rumblings, it seems like it's right around the corner, so I'm waiting...and they're really making me feel like an asshole.

Pretty solid E3 Direct from Nintendo, they absolutely killed it this year. October alone is gonna make my wallet hurt with Metroid Dread, Mario Party Superstar, and the Super Monkey collection. Hell as a Switch owner, this year is looking great as far as I'm concerned...
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (June 22nd) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (June 25th) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD (July 16th) Sonic Colors Ultimate (September 7th) Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania (October 5th) Metroid Dread (October 8th) Mario Party Superstars (October 29th) Pokémon Brilliant Diamond (November 19th)
Next year seems like it's gonna be pretty good as well with... Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, and Breath of the Wild 2.

the Mario Party announcement is bullshit. 5 maps? They can fuck off with that. This should be DLC not a new game.
BOTW2 trailer got me hyped. Looked really good.
I can see myself buying Metroid Dread.

the Mario Party announcement is bullshit. 5 maps? They can fuck off with that. This should be DLC not a new game. I get that, however, at the same time I get why they're releasing it as a new game, and not just because it'll bring in more money. With the Switch Lite, you can't play Super Mario Party on there due to the motion controls, this gives people who only own the Switch Lite a Mario Party game, as it's "button controlled". While I own a docked Switch, I like that I'll be able to play the new Mario Party game, with a pro controller. I'm not really familiar with all the technology side of video gaming. How hard would it be to patch motion controls out of Super Mario Party (if it'seven possible)? If they could do that, then this def would have been better as DLC.

Target in US ran a Buy 2 Get 1 free deal, they put preorders of some of the Nintendo games that were shown yesterdy available. That included Metroid Dread, the new Warioware game, new Mario Party & Advanced Wars remasters. I got both AdvancedWars & Metroid Dread and essentially am paying about 85 bucks for them both. Didn't want a 3rd game so instead of paying additional for those two, rather take those two games Day 1. 43 bucks for each works.
