Co-Main Event for the WWE Universal Championship
Ric Flair vs. Roman Reigns (c)
After defeating Kenny Omega in a Champion vs. Champion match on Night 2, Roman Reigns stood tall with the WWE Universal Championship held high above his head. Reigns added insult to injury by kicking the AEW World Championship out of the ring, gaining tremendous heat from the crowd. Reigns then got on the mic and declared himself the greatest World Champion of all-time...
...and was promptly interrupted by THE greatest World Champion of all-time, Ric Flair! The crowd went insane as Flair strutted onto the stage and laid into Reigns, calling him every name in the book before reminding him that in order to be the man, YOU GOTTA BEAT THE MAN!
"WOOOOOOOOOO!!"
...and was promptly interrupted by THE greatest World Champion of all-time, Ric Flair! The crowd went insane as Flair strutted onto the stage and laid into Reigns, calling him every name in the book before reminding him that in order to be the man, YOU GOTTA BEAT THE MAN!
Co-Main Event for the WUW World Championship
AJ Styles vs. WALTER
Night 3 will certainly be a Night of Champions as the vacant WUW World Championship will finally be claimed. Our finalists have each endured two of the most grueling matches in WUW history to get here, and have earned the right to say they deserve to be the next WUW champ. AJ Styles beat Adam Cole one-on-one for the second time in a rematch for the ages, and WALTER showed the world that he might be the most complete wrestler on the planet by taking out Minoru Suzuki. Now two of the most talented wrestlers alive today will leave it all in the ring, and one will call themselves WUW World Champion.
Six-Man Tag Team Match
The Elite vs. The Undisputed Era
I don't think I need to spell out for you why this match is special. I'm not in the habit of treating our audience like idiots. If you aren't hyped for The Elite vs. The Undisputed Era then nothing I write here is going to change your mind.
Singles Match - 30 Minute Time Limit
Aleister Black vs. Sting
On Night 2, Aleister Black scored the biggest win of his career over Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match that nearly stole the entire show. After finally putting Tanahashi away with the Black Mass, Aleister Black bowed to his fallen foe in a sign of ultimate respect, then took a moment to sit cross-legged in the ring and bask in glory. With the arena dark and a single spotlight on him, almost nobody noticed a dark figure repel down from the rafters. The figure landed in the ring and stepped into the spotlight behind black, and the trenchcoat and face paint was an immediate giveaway. Aleister Black felt the presence of Sting and spun to his feet, staring him down for a moment as the crowd cheered and the spotlight went dark.
Singles Match - 30 Minute Time Limit
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
After suffering defeat at the hands of Aleister Black, The Ace of New Japan stood backstage and took questions, mainly about whether or not this would be his last appearance at a WUW event. Tanahashi admitted that he wasn't at the top of his game anymore, and had to give way to the future of the sport, but would need some time to decide. Tanahashi then said he had a special announcement, and that on Night 3 he would face a man that he has always wanted to step into the ring with. He was a man he greatly admired, a man that he and many others had styled himself after, and if this were to be his last WUW event, he would want to finally face this man one-on-one. That man is none other than "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Tanahashi then thanked the reporters and while walking away, gave his best "OHH YEAAHHH!"
Japanese Death Match
Minoru Suzuki vs. Terry Funk
One of the toughest to ever do it sat dejected in the ring after being eliminated in the semi-finals of the WUW World Championship tournament. Once again, Minoru Suzuki had come so close to claiming a major world title, yet once again he was on the losing end. Suzuki's face said it all: he was angry, sad, disappointed, exhausted..you name it. But, being the honourable man that he is, Suzuki still offered WALTER his hand to shake, admitting he had once again been bested by one of the best...but WALTER refused, exiting the ring and disrespecting Suzuki.
That's when Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive" hit and Terry Funk stepped out onto the stage, mic in hand. Funk got a huge ovation, but ignored it to lay into WALTER, telling him that he just disrespected one of the greats, and if he knew what was good for him he'd get back in that ring and shake his hand. WALTER, realizing he was outnumbered, exited through the crowd to tremendous boos.
Funk then turned his attention to the ring, and said that the world was looking at two men that had done it all...except faced each other. Somehow two of the craziest, toughest SOBs in the business had never crossed paths, but on Night 3, in that very ring, that was gonna get fixed...in a JAPANESE DEATH MATCH!

WUW Women's Championship - Street Fight
Thunder Rosa vs. Asuka (c)
After nearly killing each other on Night 1 in a title match and Night 2 in a mixed-tag team match, Asuka and Thunder Rosa saw no reason why they shouldn't go for the 3-peat and try to kill each other one more time before the weekend was out. Would Rosa finally get a win this weekend and claim the WUW Women's title, or will Asuka go another year as Champion?
WUW Openweight Championship - Fatal Fourway
Katsuyori Shibata vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Matt Riddle vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. (c)
Another person who just can't be beaten is Zack Sabre, Jr. He brought the WUW Openweight Championship into this year's event and he's looking to take it with him when he leaves. However, ZSJ has his work cut out for him and faces his toughest challenge yet. After going to a time limit draw against Katsuyori Shibata, ZSJ now finds himself back in the ring with him, and two others who are looking for a big win to close out the weekend. Nakamura and Riddle impressed the crowd so much in their mixed-tag team match, they've earned a shot at the title as well, and now Zack Sabre, Jr. might lose his title without even being pinned.
Pre-Show - Curtain Call Match
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. "Filthy" Tom Lawlor & Timothy Thatcher
The veteran tag team of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin once again lost to The Young Bucks, but this time it was the last time. Having lost their Loser Leaves Town match on Night 2, The Motor City Machine Guns took one last look at the roaring crowd and headed backstage with tears in their eyes.
However, in footage released earlier today, they ran into Tom Lawlor and Tim Thatcher, who were preparing for their tag team title shot later in the evening. During the encounter, Lawlor and Thatcher made the Motor City Machine Guns a promise: whether they won the titles tonight or not (they didn't), the Machine Guns were getting one last match against them on Night 3 and leaving WUW with a proper fight and their arms raised high, not sobbing and bowing out to two "flashy dickheads" as Lawlor so elegantly put it.
The theme this weekend has been respect and Lawlor and Thatcher have shown more of it than most, and thanks to them one of the most successful tag teams of the 21st century will get the exit they deserve.

Fit Finlay
vs
Dr. Death
For years in the UWF these two hard nosed brawlers were the most feared and successful team in wrestling , now are at odds over lineage homeland pride. We all knew in the UWF that Williams was never Irish but what we didn't know is the disdain that Williams had for the culture. After being overheard mocking his longtime partner on the phone with Good Ol Jr , Finley reacted the only way he knows how - violently. As the only man on the roster even tough enough to go to with Death - Finlay bludgeoned him with his signature shillelagh - even breaking his jaw and putting him out of action for two months. Now Williams is back and on a mission to extract his pound of Irish flesh from his one time partner and close friend. Now this Sunday for the first time ever , these two burley bastards will meet in the middle of the ring to see exactly who is the toughest man in the UWF now that they aren't on the same team.
Mixed Tag Match
The CanAm Dreams
vs
The Rowdy Ones
Piper's Pit is always a dangerous setting , a setting where the erratic and unpredictable "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has made fools and punching
bags out of a lot of greats over the years. It was no different a few weeks ago when he was interviewing his longtime friend Dusty Rhodes
before goating him into an incredibly heated back and forth between the two silver tongued legends. Just as Dusty about had enough a familiar
face showed up on The Pit , striking a low blow on The American Dream from behind as Piper began a vicious beatdown with the handle of a plungerhe "happened" to just have lying around. The next week as Rowdy and Ronda were in the ring gloating about what they had done to the legend , theson of a plumbers music hits and he flies to the ring to confront the cowardly duo. Once again though , the most dangerous woman on the planet proved to be a major player - level Dusty from behind and putting him in the armbar as Rowdy stomps a hole through him , laughing maniacally.
All of a sudden , and as a shock to everyone watching , Trish Stratus's music hits and she hits the ring , attacking Rousey and forcing her to
break the hold on Dream. And just as Piper was about to put the boots to Trish who was letting Ronda have it - Dusty makes his way back to his feet and both he and Trish fend off this rowdy and reviled duo.
In an interview with a UWF podcaster when Trish was asked why? She made it simple. "Dusty is a legend , he was someone we all looked up to and I couldn't sit back and watch Roddy and ... her ... do that to him again? So I stepped up and evened the odds."
Now the match is set for this Sunday. The newly formed CanAm Dreams against the Rowdy Ones in what is sure to be a mixed tag match for the ages and icons of both genders battle it out and hopefully in the CanAm Dreams case - exact some revenge.

Daniel Bryan
vs
Bret "The Hitman" Hart
The best there is , the best there was and the best there ever will be , Bret Hart is not only one of the greatest
wrestlers of all time but he is also one of the most controversial. Daniel Bryan a man driven to defend the honor
of his beloved mentor and teacher has verbally and physically attacked the excellence of execution demanding an apology
for ruining Michaels legacy and reputation and imploring him to admit that Bret screwed Bret all those years ago in Montreal.
Bret , a man of principle and integrity vows to never utter those words and will show Daniel Bryan what happens when
annoying pissants stick their nose where it doesn't belong and bites off more than they can chew. Come Sunday it's going
to come to a head when there two tremendous wrestlers face off in the ring for their own honor and the honor of those whom
they owe everything to. There is only one way to win , in a twist on the traditional I Quit match , the loser will be the
one who admits they were wrong all along. Will Bret give in and admit into the microphone that Bret screwed Bret or will
Daniel Bryan let down his hero and proclaim that Shawn did in fact screw Bret?

Diamonds & Gold
After employing the services of DDP last year at Untouchamania IX - the MCM failed to give him what he is owed. The conniving HTM has been ducking him at every turn and when DDP finally was able to corner the tag team in the middle of the ring - demanding his payday - he got a whole lot more than he bargained for in way of 74 guitar shots between Honky and Elias. That sent DDP on the search for a partner and what better partner can you get for Diamonds than... GOLD! No one saw this coming to say the least , Goldust wasn't even in the UTF 6 weeks ago but for DDP's sake it looks like he showed up just in time. Now with his golden partner by his side he is out get to more than the money he is owed , but he is out to get revenge for getting made a fool of. So is it going to be the final curtain call for the guitar wielding duo this Sunday or will that MCM expose Diamonds and Gold for being knockoffs?
Boiler Room Match
Mankind
vs
Raven
Dark. Twisted. Punching Bag. Outcast. Reviled Upbringing. Dangerous. All words that you could use to describe each of these depraved individuals. Both these men have made their career out of prophetic dialogue and being expert purveyors of carnage in their matches , each man trying to hide from the scars made by their past. Raven tells Mankind:
"You are out here making a career out of your maligned past Foley! You are capitalizing on your pain and destroying your body for THESE people , THESE very people who made you eat worms on the playground all those years ago. You've found your light at the end of this dark tunnel but where is my light FOLEY! What about MY LIGHT! WHAT ABOUT RAVEN~!"
Mankind had a lot to say but most of it was intelligible as he was busy rocking back and forth , pulling out his hair and screeching.
"WHAT ABOUT RAVEN? WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PAIN RAVEN! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PAIN! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PAIN!"
This Sunday we are going to definitely find out what Raven knows about pain , when he meets the demented Mankind in his home away from home in the dastardly boiler room. One thing is for sure , neither of these men are going to be the same when or if they make it out of there.

Singles Match
Becky Lynch
vs
Chyna
After a vicious and quite frankly cowardly attack by Chyna in June that left Becky on the shelf for nine months , we seen the return of THE MAN last month on PPV when she attackedChyna with a 2x4 and laid her out cold giving her a taste of her own medicine. Becky really just wanted to know why? Why Chyna would attack her from behind all those months ago and injure her so severely that she wasn't even sure she could wrestle again. In Chyna's words it was simple:
"Becky Lynch you walk around here calling yourself THE MAN and I find that to be offensive. Not to women or men but to ME. When you were back in Ireland dreaming of being a wrestler ,I was in the WWF dominating the women , I was beating them so severely that I had to move on to fighting men ... and you know what? I beat them too! Competing in the MENS Royal Rumble , winning the MENS Intercontinental Championship. I wasn't out there starting revolutions for women because I didn't need to , because I was always THE MAN!"
Becky responded the next week
"That's what this is about? A moniker? When I was back in Ireland dreaming of becoming a wrestler and watching you on TV being the Ninth Wonder of the World I looked up to you , your beauty and your strength but always wondered ... why doesn't she use that star power to elevate the women around her as opposed to stomping them into the ground making sure they never get up to her level? Then I realized something , it was because you were scared , scared of other powerful women rising to take your spot because deep down you know you aren't something special , you know you're no wonder of the world - you were just a bully who was bigger than everybody else. Well now I'm here and I'm the women who is badass enough to bring you down to my level? I'm the WOMAN badass enough to make you wish you were fighting men again! I am the WOMAN who this Sunday is going to kick your Ninth World ARSE~!"

Mr. Perfect
vs
Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler has heard the comparisons for years to the great Mr. Perfect , from the hair right down to the wrestling style and hair - he has never trulybeen able to get out of the perfect ones shadow despite having carved out a great career in his own right and arguably rising about everything Perfect ever did.
In a passionate video posted to UTV.COM , the showoff blew up at the internet for the thinly veiled comparisons.
"For my entire career I've heard the comparison , I've heard the remarks calling me the poor mans Mr. Perfect and I've had enough of it! Mr. Perfect is thepoor mans Dolph Ziggler. What did that man accomplish that I haven't? Was he a world champion? No. I WAS" Did he ever win MITB? No! I DID! He won the Intercontinental Championship twice?! I did it SIX TIMES! He's not perfect , he's not even average and he's certainly not Dolph Ziggler!"
In a brief response by the newly acquired Hennig , he simply had this to say to Dolph. "When you are perfect , there is no need to #showoff , see you Sunday wannabe."
And that will be that. There is only once way to tell which one is the real deal and which is the imitator and that will be in the ring this Sunday when these two great talents meet in the middle of the squared circle.

Ladder Match
Rob Van Dam
vs
Brian Pillman
There was a time a long time ago where Brian Pillman had a cup of coffee in ECW , but not long enough to really do anything for the promotion itself. RVD , normally a pretty mild demeanored guy has been holding a grudge with Pillman for years over that short little stint. RVD believes that Pillman came in and used the budding upstart promotion for his own personal gain and almost made a mockery of the open mic time he was given. Mr. ECW himself has always held Extreme Championship Wrestling in high regard and doesn't like the thought of it as just being a rest stop to bigger and better things. So after showing up through the crowd at last months PPV and attacking Pillman with a steel chair he laid down a challenge to the eccentric Loose Cannon.
"Hanging above the ring will be my guaranteed *newly signed* contract from the UTF for five years , more money than you could possibly ask for since that's all you wanted when you were using ECW as a bargaining chip. It's all yours and I'm gone as fast as I got here if you win. However if I win and grab that contract first , you leave the UTF forever and never recieve another paycheck again"
It took a few weeks of Pillman playing mind games but eventually he accepted the terms of RVD's deal considering his body isn't what it once was and he could use the guaranteed contract moving forward.
So now in a battle of home promotion pride and personal security for the future... Who is going to climb that ladder and secure their future with UTF? Will RVD be gone as soon as he got here or will Pillman have to scratch and claw his way back to the top for another organization?

Seth Rollins had enough , in three weeks ago in the middle of tirade about how he is sick of getting disrespected
in the hierarchy of the UWF , a familar face popped up to tell him a thing or two about respect. Ricky Steamboat ,
one of the most respected and revered wrestlers of all time cut a short and to the point promo telling Seth that you
don't get respect through hissy fits and turning your back on friends. You get it through honor and hard work. It wasn't
a tantrum that finally allowed me to beat Ric Flair for the title all those years ago , it was perseverance! Seth had
heard enough from Steamboat before blindsiding him with a chop to the throat and a devastating curb stomp. And Seth replies:
"Respect Steamboat?!"
"Respect?!
"You were one of the greatest champions in history and a man to be feared in the ring and you came to
the WWF and they turned you into a freaking cartoon character to sell toys! Don't tell me about integrity , you lost every
but of integrity you had when you put on that Halloween costume!"
The next week , as a man of few words and with a now injured larynx from the chop to the throat , the newly dubbed "Dragon Slayer"
"You mock me , you degrade my honor , you judge me?! Don't wake a sleeping dragon Seth because now at Untouchamania X , you are going
to find out exactly what happens when someone really wants to burn it down!"

PROLOGUE - THE JOURNEY FROM L.A TO THE LONE STAR STATE...
"Escape from L.A" provided us with title changes, twists and turns, memorable moments, and a shocking conclusion that featured the debut of wrestling's latest and hottest free agent. In the weeks that followed, another three of the sports most seismic names would become the latest names to join the revolution. Goldberg would be the first to make the move, and he'd do it by appearing moments after The Undertaker escaped a steel cage to successfully defend his World Championship in a bloody battle against a broken John Cena. Taker didn't have a second to reflect upon the victory before he was left exposed in the path of "Da Man". Goldberg hopped over the crowd barrier and crunched the ribs of "The Deadman" with a thunderous spear! He'd put an exclamation point on the attack with a Jackhammer through the announce table before proclaiming to his fallen foe that "UNDERTAKER'S NEXT!". The acquisition of the undefeated pro-wrestler sent shockwaves through the industry - he'd not been seen since vacating his WCW World Heavyweight Championship at the start of 200X after deciding he'd toppled every opponent the promotion had to offer. The big names would sit up and take notice - NCAA Wrestling Champion Brock Lesnar would turn down offers from every promotion in North America to make his pro-wrestling start with SWF dubbing himself the "Next Big Thing". Steve Austin's hiatus in wrestling due to a brutal fallout with Vince McMahon would come to an end when he agreed a short term deal with Sunbelt for "one last hurrah before walking off into the sunset". Finally, Hulk Hogan would leave Hollywood behind and return to wrestling for the first time in over a year to confront the man who called himself "Legend Killer". With the most stacked roster in the business, engaging storylines, and the best wrestling presentation on the planet Sunbelt Wrestling Federation was enjoying a scorching summer as San Antonio, Texas readied itself to host True Grit!

OUR MAIN EVENT - CHAMPIONSHIP VS. STREAK
SWF World Heavyweight Championship Bout
"The Deadman" The Undertaker (c) vs "The Undefeated" Goldberg
"Nothing suffocates you more than
The passing of everyday human events
Isolation is the oxygen mask you make
Your children breath into survive"
The Undertaker's stunning career and lengthy unbeaten run in SWF including his highlights winning and defending the SWF World Heavyweight Championship are juxtaposed with images of Bill Goldberg who's shown wrecking his way through wrestler after wrestler in WCW before finally capturing their World Heavyweight Championship. Undertaker's memorable mind games are shown including the moment he dug a grave for Chris Jericho on the eve of their championship contest. Meanwhile, the events leading to Goldberg vacating the championship and announcing his intentions to leave WCW to find an even playing field air. "The Deadman" hasn't been pinned in almost half a decade. "The Undefeated" Goldberg is yet to taste defeat since leaving the gridiron for the square circle.
Goldberg signs his SWF contract live on Tuesday Night Titans and reveals that when he destroys "The Deadman" and takes his World Heavyweight Championship, he intends on next going to WWF and becoming the first man to win WCW, SWF, and WWF World Heavyweight gold. The lights go out and The Undertaker is seen high above the rafters of the arena. A spotlight focuses on Taker as he admonishes Bill Goldberg for his plans. "The Deadman" tells Goldberg that "you're in my yard" and when people are in his yard, bad things happen. Taker sends a lightning bolt to the ring that lands directly at the feet of Goldberg and sends him staggering back shocked. The lights go out once more and The Undertaker is no longer in the rafters, he's left nowhere to be seen. Goldberg looks up to the titantron and sees RIP emblazoned in huge writing...
"YOU CAN'T SEE ME!" - "WHAT?!""But I'm not a slave to a god
That doesn't exist
And I'm not a slave to a world
That doesn't give a shit"
We see Taker connect with Tombstone Piledriver after Tombstone Piledriver while Goldberg's arsenal is also featured predominantly - men are left destroyed with a combination of Spear and Jackhammers. We see one more Tombstone Piledriver, this time to a bloodied John Cena moments before The Undertaker climbs over the steel cage and drags himself down to the floor to successfully defend his title at Escape From L.A. An exhausted Taker is confronted by "Da Man" who's hopped the crowd barrier then ran "The Deadman" down with a ferocious spear to the surprise and amazement of all inattendance. Goldberg follows this up by taking a fallen Undertaker to the announce table before slamming him down and through the table with the Jackhammer. "UNDERTAKER ... YOU'RE NEXT!"
"And when we were good
You just closed your eyes
So when we are bad
We'll scar your minds"
"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Taker finally confronts his nemesis in the ring and grasps him by the throat but before he can hit a chokeslam, dozens of security guards hit the ring. The SWF committee have outlined that they don't want their big money pay-per-view being jeopardized or put at risk in any way. Taker and Goldberg separate and turn backs on one another before cleaning house. It's like a saloon bar brawl as bodies scatter across the ring until finally Taker is left with one security guard and Goldberg is left with another. Goldberg flattens one with a Jackhammer while Undertaker nails one with a Tombstone. Goldberg picks his battles wisely and leaves the ring telling "The Deadman" that he can wait until True Grit to taste the same fate. Undertaker gives his infamous cut-throat sign to his PPV opponent, knowing it isn't much longer until he can seek redemption fully.
"The death of one is a tragedy
The death of one is a tragedy
The death of one is a tragedy
The death of millions is just a statistic"
"The death of one is a tragedy
The death of one is a tragedy
The death of one is a tragedy
The death of millions is just a statistic"
The Undertaker has returned to the graveyard we saw on the eve of Tombstone. He has seven graves dug up, each with a tombstone containing epitaphs. One by one the camera pans along the seven graves and Taker reads out what is on each one; 1. Lust, 2. Gluttony, 3. Greed, 4. Sloth, 5. Wrath, 6. Envy, 7. Pride. "The Deadman" explains that each characteristic of these seven deadly sins is possessed by Goldberg and they're the very reasons he will fail in taking the SWF World Heavyweight Championship away from The Undertaker and Sunbelt Wrestling Federation. "You have never faced anyone like me before, Bill. You're never lost in your career, yes, but you have never stepped into the shadows with a Deadman. At True Grit, I will bury you and the sins you carry. You and your undefeated recorded will REST ... IN ... PEACE!"
In San Antonio, Texas, the integrity of the SWF and it's World Heavyweight Championship are defended by a "Deadman". "Da Man" is yet to taste defeat. He's already steamrollered through one promotion and left it in his wake, can he make Sunbelt the second on his list of three? The Undertaker aims to put pay to Goldberg and his seven deadly sins. Can he write out one more epitaph or will it be Goldberg who writes out another expensive cheque and a contract for a whole different company - firstly WCW, then SWF, before WWF? The stakes couldn't be higher at TRUE GRIT!
"But I'm not a slave to a god
That doesn't exist
And I'm not a slave to a world
That doesn't give a shit
But I'm not a slave to a god
That doesn't exist
And I'm not a slave to a world
That doesn't give a shit"
Bill Goldberg is seen preparing to board his private plane that will take him into Texas and the arms of battle with The Undertaker. He takes off his glasses and says "don't let appearances fool you". He's been locked away training in an MMA gym the last few days. He's worked harder than ever in preparation for this battle. While The Undertaker's digging up a sweat in graveyards, he's shared blows and holds with the most elite athletes you could wish to spar with. He confesses he loves the money, the celebrity lifestyle, and the fact he holds the power to go anywhere he wants and to make more money with every appearance. "Don't let statements deceive you". Goldberg says he's hungrier now than he was when he started his wrestling journey years prior without a single dollar to his name. "I've been to absolute rock bottom, and I don't intend on going back. So you see, it's nothing personal Taker. It's strictly business". He flashes a confident, assured grin and climbs aboard the aircraft to fly to the fight of his life.
"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight! Fight! Fight!"
A Matter of Respect
John Cena vs "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
"Your time is up, my time is now," is the mantra that John Cena has adopted since his career-making performance against The Undertaker, giving everything in an effort which saw him come up just short in taking the World Title away from "The Deadman". "You can't see me, my time is now," is the taunt that Cena's fired at every opponent that has been left defeated with the F-U in the weeks and months that followed his flirtation with the biggest prize on the planet. There's no question that Cena's attitude has adjusted since his debut in SWF. While fans enjoyed his brash, confident personality heading into the clash with Taker, his ego trip has only accelerated since to the degree that he's now one of the most detested figures on the roster. Claiming to be a master with a microphone in his hand, Cena once again was laying in to the crowd while playing up his ability and demanding that he be added to the True Grit main event. "Undertaker and Goldberg's time is up, my time is ..."
....GLASS SHATTERS!!!!....
It couldn't? He hadn't been seen in a wrestling ring since his much publicized fallout with Vince McMahon at the turn of the year. It must be. The infamous noise of shattered glass ... it is! The "Texas Rattlesnake"! STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN walks out onto an SWF entrance ramp! The roof explodes, the audience lose their shit, and John Cena and Sunbelt Wrestling Federation's world is turned upside down! Stone Cold is no longer the face of WWF, he's here in SWF and he's heading right down to the ring to confront John Cena! Cena has his best poker face on, trying not to show an ounce of emotion despite the fact he's about to be joined by arguably the biggest name in professional wrestling in 200X. Austin's eyes do not leave Cena, muttering obscenities as he walks up the steel steps and through the ring ropes. It's abundantly clear he's had about as much of Cena as everyone else has in the building. Austin calls for a microphone as he paces around the SWF squared circle and eyes Cena up and down. Cena stays still, as if he's just been caught in a Lion's Den, not moving a muscle yet his eyes dart around following Stone Cold's direction until finally he stops and takes his eyes off Cena to monitor the crowd who are loving every moment. His music stops, but the noise volume doesn't drop as huge "Austin" chants reverberate around the arena. The "Texas Rattlesnake" waits for a moment or two before raising the microphone to his lips.
STEVE AUSTIN:
"If y'all are shocked as hell to see 'Stone Cold' right now then gimme a HELL YEAH!"
"HELLLLLLL YEAH!"
STEVE AUSTIN:
"And if you all want to hear what brings me here to the Sunbelt Wrestling Federation and why I'm sharing a ring with this jackass right now then gimme another HELL YEAH!"
"HELLLLLLLLLL YEAHHHHH!"
STEVE AUSTIN:

JOHN CENA:
"That's a real cute story, Steve."
"WHAT?!"
STEVE AUSTIN:
"I said to myself, Stone Cold, this has been a hell of a sabbatical, you've recharged those batteries, but you can only sit on your ass for so long. Sunbelt Wrestling Federation is coming into Texas this summer. Steve Austin's home is in Texas. I love Texas. I love whooping ass. So why don't I whoop some ass in Texas? And that's when I got that lightbulb moment. John Cena. Jackass Cena. He keeps talking about time. His time is now..."
JOHN CENA:
"YOUR TIME IS UP, STONE COLD. MY TIME IS NOW!"

STEVE AUSTIN:
"I sure as hell can see you, kid. I wish I couldn't, but damn son I can see you and I can certainly hear the horse crap that's coming out of your mouth. You want to prove it's your time? You want to show everyone my time is up? True Grit in Texas ... Stone Cold ... John Cena ... one-on-one ... gimme a HELL YEAH?!"
"HELL YEAH!"
JOHN CENA:

JOHN CENA:
"HELL YEAH!"
Cena and Austin go head-to-head, foreheads pressed against one another talking bullshit before finally Cena tries the cheapshot ... blocked! He tries for another shot .. Austin ducks and runs the rope before vaulting himself back at Cena ... LOU THEZ PRESS! Shots rain down on the face of Cena until Austin allows him to return to his feet. Kick to the stomach ... AUSTIN FLIPS THE BIRD! ... STUNN-NO! Cena reverses at the last split second and hightails it out of the ring and retreats up the ramp eyeing up his True Grit opponent who was seconds away from connecting with the Stunner. Austin has a huge, satisfied smile on his face, he knows how close he was. He's back doing what he loves and the crowd couldn't be happier.
STEVE AUSTIN:
"At True Grit, John Cena's gonna get the ass kicking of a lifetime - and that's the BOTTOM LINE ... because ...
STONE COLD SAID SO!"

"THE DEATH OF HULKAMANIA?"
Legend meets Legend Killer
Hulk Hogan vs Randy Orton
"The Legend Killer" went to hell and back in his battle with Sabu, leaving with mental and physical scars after a bout which was more warfare than a wrestling match. Despite the pain and anguish, Orton's RKO lout of nowhere lead him to a decisive victory and backed up the third generation superstar's boastful claims heading into the event. On the back of his successful maiden pay-per-view, Orton swore that more legends would fall in his journey to become the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in the history of Sunbelt and that no legendary figure is safe from him. In the weeks that followed, speculation went into overdrive that Hulk Hogan had agreed a deal to come out of retirement for a final run with SWF. Of course, Orton was the first to react to the rumours, dismissing them entirely. Orton conceded that there wasn't a bigger legend or icon in the history of wrestling than Hogan, but "there's no way in hell that Hogan leaves Hollywood to return to the ring. You're too old, too slow, and too past it to share this ring with me Hulkster." Orton's baiting would continue until finally a press conference was called by the committee and the announcement of Hogan's return to the industry was made official!
Hogan would be interviewed by several of the nation's leading media outlets, but one interviewer would go one step further with their question. "Do you fear 'The Legend Killer', Hulk?" came the question from the back of the room. Before a jovial Hogan could answer the same voice said "because you should be scared right now, brother", before revealing himself to be Randy Orton. Orton stormed past camera crews and journalists to launch himself at the podium where Hogan was sitting. A huge brawl broke out as Orton tried in vain to assault Hogan who was left incredulous that his press conference had been interrupted in such a manner. Orton would be fined for the incident, but was spared any further punishment at the request of Hulk Hogan who demanded his first match to take place at True Grit against Orton. "You call yourself the Legend Killer, Randy? But you have never stepped foot in a ring with the Hulkster, brother. There's legends and then there's Hulk Hogan. Ask your daddy what it was like sharing a ring with me, brother. He felt first hand what it was like to be on the receiving end of these 24-inch pythons, baby! So, ask yourself one question Randy. WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU?!". The Orton family is no stranger to sharing a ring with the immortal Hulk Hogan - can Randy Orton do what his father couldn't and "kill the legend" of Hulk Hogan? Or will it be another happy night for the Hulkamaniacs who'll be rooting for their hero to make a winning return?

WOLVERINE TACKLES A BEAST
"Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit vs "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar
Rumours were abound that Chris Benoit would be taking a sabbatical from wrestling after finally parting ways with the United States gold we'd become accustomed to seeing around his waist. There wouldn't be many more deserving of some time out than the "Rabid Wolverine" who has put his body on the line as much as, if not more than, anyone in the company since the day he arrived in Sunbelt. In Benoit's absence, the debut of the man billed "The Next Big Thing" had everyone raving about what the future could hold for a competitor who had gone from dominating the amateur scene in NCAA to looking like he'd soon possess the professional world in the palm of his hand. Lesnar would ragdoll not one, but two men in his debut and found himself heading back to the dressing room quicker than the time it took to make his entrance. His finishing move, the F-5, had already been deemed one of the most devastating moves in the promotion and had such velocity and impact that the beast Lesnar had started to demand the referee counted to 10 after he hit the move rather than the traditional 3. The "Next Big Thing" grew with cockiness and swagger with each passing week until one week before True Grit where he announced he wanted a "real challenge, a serious test of my wrestling ability". Lesnar said he's yet to have a match that went over five minutes and he intends his pay-per-view debut to be yet another speedy affair. "Is there anybody on this planet who wants to step up to the plate and take on the NEXT ... BIG ... THING .. BRRRRRRROCK LESNARRRRR?!".
What followed was the noise of thunderous cheers as the crowd collectively lost their mind upon hearing the familiar entrance theme of none other than Chris Benoit! Benoit would make a surprise return, hitting the ring and immediately getting up in the face of Lesnar who had a huge, shit-eating grin on his face as he knew things had just become as serious as he'd wanted. The two men traded verbal insults for a few moments before Lesnar attempted a cheap shot .. Benoit ducks and swivels to position himself behind Lesnar ... GERMAN SUPLEX! Benoit becomes the first man to take Brock Lesnar off of his feet in an SWF ring! Lesnar goes flying across the canvas and immediately retreats, licking his wounds and cautiously eyeing up his pay-per-view prey. "Challenge accepted, Brock!" Chris Benoit versus Brock Lesnar is official for True Grit! Can the veteran Chris Benoit stop the beast that is Brock Lesnar - or will The Next Big Thing continue his impressive momentum and pick up the biggest win of his fledgling career?

UNIFIED
SWF United States Championship & Cruiserweight Championship Unification Bout
"Y2J" Chris Jericho vs "King of Harts" Owen Hart
It was a golden night for two Canadians in California back in April. Chris Jericho would capture more singles gold in Sunbelt Wrestling Federation when he used underhanded tactics to dethrone Chris Benoit of the United States Championship. Owen Hart, meanwhile, would see his diet plan come to fruition when he captured the Cruiserweight Championship following an assist from an unlikely ally in Tajiri. In the weeks that followed, both men would duck and dive their way out of defending their new titles. As the 30 day rule for SWF singles titles came close, Owen Hart made a "tearful" confession when he informed the audience that his lack of in-ring activity in addition to constant cravings for take-out food resulted in some serious weight gain. "I'm once again weighing in at 232 pounds, I'm still a beefcake but I'm a beefcake who can no longer compete at cruiserweight levels." Hart spoke of his intentions to keep the belt (despite being unable to defend it) and break records as the longest reigning champion in the history of the sport. It would later be revealed that the committee gave Hart a rather lucrative option, a compromise in order to defend the integrity of championship belts. All would be disclosed when "Y2J" was in the ring to celebrate his first title defence, 29 days after his last bout which was his championship victory at Escape From L.A. Hart would interrupt Jericho's post-match celebrations, armed with a bottle of platinum champagne to give to Jericho as a token of appreciation for his first win as U.S champ. "A little bit of the bubbly? Owen... you shouldn't have! You've always been my favourite Hart brother, you know that..."
"From one Canadian champion to another, Chris..." Jericho reached to take the "bubbly" from Hart's reach, but found himself doubled over when Owen planted him in the ribs with the bottle before smashing it right over the back of "Y2J's" skull! Jericho was left folded in a heap as Hart stood over him and announced that "the King of Harts has made himself a little deal with our committee. At True Grit, we're gonna unify your belt and my belt. A unification match for the United States and Cruiserweight Championships!" The crowd roared with excitement at the announcement, the turn of events cementing Owen as a fan favourite once again in SWF with the audience firmly on his side in his quest to enjoy an Indian summer in his career at the expense of his fellow countryman Chris Jericho. Two titles become one at True Grit, but which Canadian walks out with the unified gold?!

EIGHT MEN - FOUR TEAMS - TABLES, LADDERS & CHAIRS FOR THE GOLD!
SWF World Tag Team Championship T.L.C Bout
The Dudley Boyz (c) vs The Eliminators vs The Hardy Boyz vs The Prophecy
Bubba & D-von - Saturn & Kronus - Jeff & Matt - Kane & Christopher Daniels
The Eliminators' reign of tandem tyranny came to a conclusion in Los Angeles and it did so without either Kronus or Saturn taking the decisive fall that saw the Tag Team Championship change hand for the first time in over two years. Needless to say, neither Kronus or Saturn were too pleased about losing their titles in such a fashion and demanded the chance to inflict punishment on The Hardy's en route to invoking their rematch clause to face the new champions of the world, D-von and Bubba Ray Dudley. Once again, there was a glitch in The Eliminators plan as they were pinned for the first time in their SWF career in a stunning upset! Jeff and Matt pulled off a huge victory live on Tuesday Night Titans which added validation to their claims they should be next in line for a shot at the belts. After all, they did defeat the current champions the last time they met on pay-per-view and now they'd also done what The Dudleys were yet to do - successfully take out The Eliminators in a tag team contest.
While North America's three top tag teams were embroiled in a bitter battle, the unlikeliest of formations was in conception. It took two Tombstone Piledrivers for Kane to put away Christopher Daniels, but Kane would show mercy to the competitor post-match. Toying with the idea of hitting a third Tombstone, the "Demon" instead kept Daniels slumped over his shoulders and walked backstage with him much to the bemusement of the California crowd. It would be revealed through segments in the weeks that followed that Kane and Daniels were holding satanic rituals with the "Fallen Angel" cryptically disclosing that it was "written in the prophecy that the Demon and the Angel would be aligned for a greater purpose". Kane said he was excited to do the devil's bidding and that with Daniels as an ally, nothing could stop them from taking over Sunbelt and carrying out the prophecy.
The committee had quite frankly grew tired of The Dudley's resistance to defend their newly won gold, and announced that they'd be defending their titles for the first time at True Grit and they'd do so in the first ever TABLES, LADDERS and CHAIRS match! It would be announced that four teams would be participating in the spectacle. In the go-home episode of T.N.T, D-von and Bubba would carry out backstage attacks on both The Eliminators and The Hardy Boyz before gloating in the ring that True Grit would be nothing more than a formality... THE FIRES OF HELL EXPLODE! Marilyn Manson's "Disposable Teens" welcomes out "The Prophecy". Christopher Daniels and Kane hit the ring and demolish the champions. Kane hits a Tombstone Piledriver to Bubba ... Daniels connects with Angel Wings to D-von! SWF's newest alliance confirms they will be the fourth and final team in the TLC match in Texas at True Grit. Will the devil's favourite duo be victorious in their first outing as a team? Can The Eliminators regain what they'd held for over two calendar years? Is it time for The Hardy Boys to realize their destiny and finally win gold? Or can Bubba and D-von defeat the odds and retain in a match that's got all the odds stacked against them?
While North America's three top tag teams were embroiled in a bitter battle, the unlikeliest of formations was in conception. It took two Tombstone Piledrivers for Kane to put away Christopher Daniels, but Kane would show mercy to the competitor post-match. LUCHA VS PURORESU
Rey Mysterio vs Tajiri
Tajiri shocked everyone when following his success in defeating Booker T, the once popular star would make a second appearance at the Staples Center that night to cost Rey Mysterio the Cruiserweight Championship. Just as Mysterio appeared to have the match won, he was blind sighted by a jet of black mist belonging to none other than Tajiri. Not wanting to remove his sacred mask and reveal his face to the world, Mysterio would stumble into a victory roll from Owen Hart and lose his other prized possession instead. Tajiri would reveal his detest for Rey Mysterio and the luchador brand of wrestling, claiming that he was the true greatest cruiserweight in the world and wrestled the way the sport was intended. Rey would meet his new nemesis for a physical confrontation, setting up for a 619 which Tajiri would only just narrowly avoid. Mysterio finally gets the chance for redemption in San Antonio as puroresu meets lucha libre in a clash of the cruiserweights.
BATTLE OF THE ALAMO
EXTREME FOUR-WAY DANCE BOUT
Masato Tanaka vs Mike Awesome vs Sabu vs Taz
There was just no separating Masato Tanaka and Mike Awesome at Escape from L.A. The two men got the show off to a roaring start in a hard-hitting match that ended in a double count-out as their brawl spilt into the crowd and eventually into the backstage area. Taz returned to winning ways by taking out Jushin Thunder Liger, making him pass out courtesy of the kata-ha-jime. Sabu, meanwhile, would fall victim to defeat to Randy Orton in a contest that would add scars to his already impressive resume. These four individuals all have validation in claiming to be the most extreme competitor in SWF and since this four-way was announced, they've all gone about extracting extreme displays of violence to one another. Christened "Battle of the Alamo" by the committee, anything goes in this four-way dance. All competitors are encouraged to bring their own weapons, with nothing off limits. Four men will enter and after three eliminations one man will be left as the undisputed King of Hardcore.
OUR OPENING CONTEST
Booker T vs Jushin Thunder Liger
Booker T was dethroned and left humbled following his defeat to Tajiri. He took a temporary leave of absence before returning to announce his intentions to wrestle in front of the fans he loves in Texas and put on a performance that can atone for him being a "royal jackass" the last 12 months. He said he'd leave it to the committee to choose his opponent, all he wants to do is wrestle without any gimmicks. Jushin Thunder Liger would be revealed as the man who'd share the squared circle with T, with the legendary Japanese superstar still looking for his first victory in Sunbelt Wrestling. Clips of Liger training in the infamous NJPW Dojo have aired in recent weeks, a sign that he's returned to his roots in order to try and formulate a change in strategy for this encounter at True Grit in his return to U.S soil.
