Not an impressive showing at all from the Eagles defence on that drive (and the game in general really) missing tackles and getting gashed on running plays. Be interesting to see if Wade Phillips can make his typical half time adjustments and come to terms with Wentz's impressive pocket movement.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS trash talking penalty keeps the Philly drive alive and leads to a TD.
Wentz in the tent after taking a big hit trying to scramble into the end zone. He makes some great plays but is very reckless with his body on some of those runs. Needs to calm it down a bit.

Nick Foles in with Wentz ruled out, and the Eagles defence seemingly unable to have one good down let alone force a stop, things looking rough for Philly now.

CLUTCH catch by Agholor (never thought I'd type that) to ice the game. Foles has been great off the bench.
Gutsy win by Philly but reports are coming out that Wentz has torn his ACL - devastating for their chances of competing in the playoffs.

Carson Wentz is just dynamite on third down. I really think Obrien needs to go. Ridiculous! He showed what he can achieve when he's given a talented quarterback. This was always going to be a lost season with Watt, Mercilus and Watson injured but for a brief moment they looked like they could be genuine contenders. This team got straight up outcoached today by 49ers staff. Even with the talent we lost games to Seattle and New England largely due to bad coaching. Bill is just not cut out to be a head coach, he's out of his league going up against so many of the coaching staffs in the league right now, his ceiling is a .500 record in wild card playoff games, you guys can have him on the Giants, I think we can do a little better, might as well get it going now while Watson is still young, I mean the dude wasted the offseason going all in on Savage, before that it was Hoyer and Mallett, before that it was Fitzpatrick. It's time to go.

his ceiling is a .500 record in wild card playoff games That's what he's achieved with bottom-five talent at quarterback. You could see the type of job he did changing the playbook when Watson came into the lineup. It would be ridiculous to not give them a full year together.

You could see the type of job he did changing the playbook when Watson came into the lineup. It would be ridiculous to not give them a full year together. Watson is a natural born phenom once in a generation talent, Bill will be looking to ride his coat tails, Watson was thriving in spite of his bunk coaching/offense(and in spite of the fact that he spent training camp/preseason working with the backups while first team reps were wasted on Tom Savage), in both losses to NE and Sea if Bill would have given the kid the ball we would have won, O'Brien is going to hold this team back going forward. Just imagine what Watson and this team could do with a real head coach/OC. I'd like to see a coaching change sooner than later. I've seen enough of his shit playcalling and horrible game management, his terrible ability to evaluate and manage talent. At some point this team needs to start winning something more than AFC South titles and Wild Card games, I'm convinced it ain't gonna happen with O'Brien. Belly/full

You'd think the Steelers would have been working on wrap up tackles after what happened to Shazier. Terrible effort to allow Collins to escape down the sideline there.

So glad to have a thug like Sheldon Richardson off the Jets. Me first, look at me I don't wanna lead a team! He fits right in with the NFL least liked team. Michael Bennett is an absolute scumbag and if his name was Suh he'd get absolutely blasted for that garbage he did at the end of the game. Isn't he pro human rights huh? Nothing more pro human rights than trying to ruin someone's knee and livelihood. Go exaggerate some more in Las Vegas asshole, you don't belong in the league with shit like that.
What an unlikable cast of punks they got on defense. Quinton Jefferson rather than run to the locker room would rather try and go into the stands and endanger innocent people because 1 assclown threw something at him.
Can you get a grip of your team for once Pete? One of the few decent pros on that team Russell Wilson is often the punching bag because he isn't "hood or authentic or with the players but he carries himself with something that team lacks: modesty.
Can't wait to see the man who thinks his opinion is like Socrates, Richard Sherman deflect this and excuse this. Boy that fuck thinks his opinion smells worth a shit, bashing Josh McCown to open the year because he got signed over the inferior Kapernick. Shame his ego wasn't the part torn a few months ago.

This Carson Wentz injury is so horrible for football fans. My favorite to go to the Super Bowl in the NFC has been the Saints, but this just ruins the fun of football in the NFC. They clinch the NFC East and lose their star QB who could easily be the MVP this season.

What's up with Marcus Mariota? he's been average this season. I've never thought Mike Mularkey was a good head coach but Mariota hasn't helped matters with his poor play.

Pittsburgh will probably pull this one out in the end as they tend to do, but they're just not impressive despite the record. This is the third week in a row I've watched them now and just can't buy them as a genuine contender, even with their great playmakers.

Dear god some of this refereeing. I think they threw flags on about five of the last seven plays. They are calling PI for the merest contact.

That TD by Baltimore may have sealed it for them. That missed 2 point conversion has now made this a 2 possession game.

Now Pittsburgh stop the clock with two incomplete pass instead of running out the clock for the FG - this is terrible clock management by both teams.
Baltimore still a chance to win, we know how good Tucker is.

I still can't get over Baltimore calling two passes on the second last possession when they've got a guy rushing for 7 yards a carry and you need to run the clock down.

Especially since Joe Flacco isn't good. The Steelers still gave them a chance by doing the same thing, but still.

I am so happy the Steelers won that, I may have had an aneurysm if they lost by 2 points after the refs set the Ravens up twice with abysmal PI calls. One of them Wallace just hung onto the defender, the other was perfect coverage, added to the mind boggling unnecessary roughness call on Brown, and being able to mug Bell for no flags, I was losing my mind.
That defense is definitely worrisome sans Shazier, his loss was already dearly felt, making Timmons treachery sting all that much more. Hopefully Haden can come back in the playoffs and pull that secondary together. In either case, it's definitely going to be the offense carrying the team, the 4 Killer B's at least give me hope on that front, be nice if Bryant could re-join that squad; plus Juju, some good tight end play, I think they can hang with any team when they're on. Just hung 39 on the #2 defense in scoring, and didn't turn the ball over once against the #1 defense in turnovers, those bode well for the offense. Just that questionable defense needs to come together.

be nice if Bryant could re-join that squad I wouldn't hold out too much hope - I noticed a number of times tonight his effort levels were definitely those of a guy who couldn't care less about the cause.

Yeah, you think he'd be doing the smart thing and trying to liven up his payday for when his contract is up, but instead he's basically giving bare minimum out there. Hopefully getting into the playoffs and looking down a Super Bowl can motivate him.

I have a feeling Martavis is going to make a huge play in the 4th quarter of a playoff game that will right his wrongs for the season. That D didn't look great today, but this is a division game that the Ravens came ready for. We'll see if this D can stop Brady next week. Most likely we're looking at another 30+ on the opponents score board, but we'll see.
I'm interested to see if anyone and who gets suspended from Seattle or Jacksonville next week. I lost any bit of respect I had for Seattle today. A bunch of bullies is what I always viewed them as, but tonight they crossed the line. Especially that bitch Michael Bennett. Cocksucking sore losers. They just got introduced to the future of defensive monsters in Sacksonville and that's how they passed the torch. Like pussies. I really hope they miss the playoffs. It's insane to think that they can beat the Rams next week and all of a sudden, the Rams would be in danger of missing the playoffs.
Other takeaways from this week:
Lesean McCoy is a beast in the snow. I knew he was going to have a big game and he came close to duplicating his 200+ from Philly. The Bills now hold the 6 seed, but the Ravens can win out and take it EVEN if Buffalo wins out. I don't know who will be starting next week for Buffalo, but the Dolphins aren't going to make it easy for them. The Ravens get the winless Browns, but I do remember the winless Dolphins beating the Ravens once upon a time so I wouldn't give the Ravens the guaranteed dub yet. Look how the Bengals played today after losing to the Steelers in crushing fashion. Terrible. The Bears embarrassed them.
The Raiders played awful today. They're not mathematically done yet, but they're done. I don't even think the wildcard is coming for them. What a huge disappointment they have been. Second to the Giants for this season. Now on Saturday, we get a huge game between the 7-6 Chiefs and 7-6 Chargers. The winner of this game will have sole possession of the division. The Chargers have been red hot and continued to dominate both offensively and defensively today.
Speaking of Saturday games, the Lions get a chance to continue their run for the wildcard. They have the easiest schedule remaining for teams fighting for that 6 seed. They handled their business today as Stafford balled out with a destroyed hand. It seems like they're going to be making this run without Abdullah who it seems like they've finally given up on. Riddick had a 2 TD game. It's his backfield now. They can't sleep on Chicago this Saturday.
The injuries to star QBs have been demoralizing this season. Watson and now Wentz. Heartbreaking news for Eagles fans and I don't want to hear about Foles 8-2 record playing for Michael Vick 4 years ago. The plays Wentz makes for this team is impossible to duplicate.
Another injured star, Aaron Rodgers MAY be coming back this week against the Panthers. Hundley did the job and kept them in contention. Hopefully Rodgers comes back and if he does, he has a tough test with that Panthers D. It will be must watch and must win for Green Bay. Can't wait to see him on the field if he does play. They have zero chance with Hundley and a 50% chance with Rodgers. Make the move.
