Then there was some chapter about him getting kicked out of a store he was banned from earlier and trying to get the trolls to attack the store owner but they turned against him. Not sure what part this is featured in or if this is a spoiler but I got away from this cobweb of a mess when Christina Chandler said she swapped bodies with a fictional character from his "Sonichu" web comic series and was acting in real life as she was the character. Just a mess.

Have you made it to the Lars call yet? I feel guilty for laughing at it but I just can't stop. The idea of a stereotypical black gangsta obsessed with model boats is getting to me for some reason.

It's an oddly "wholesome" wave in a dark-ass ocean, for sure.

I just got up to Lars the other night, although I may have skipped the model boats portion. Their conversation was one of the better moments for sure...

Chris Chan, the creator of Sonichu is back from prison after (somehow) getting released after the raping of their mother who suffers from dementia. Crazy enough, this post from Chris Chan comes a day before the release of Sonic Superstars.

In August all charges against Chan were dropped after his lawyers pretty much said they would seek an insanity defense. Release was dependent on him being institutionalized, which these days means partial hospitalization or living in a group home, and kept away from his mom. DA basically did not want to push case when it was clear they would not win.

Chan also now will not be listed as a sex offended since that requires a conviction and Chan did not plea.

They posted a video as well, seems like the rehab and time away from the internet has done Christina well.

Unreal it looks like 90 days was all they were required to do for institutional stuff.

Then again one of the Slenderman killer girls was released already, and the other likely will be released next year. Insanity really is a get out of jail free card if you can afford lawyers these days.

Only seems a few like the Son of Sam are kept locked up for life.  Is weird Berkowitz will die in prison but Hinckley Jr has unconditional release.

I think the taxpayer money wasn't worth keeping someone like Christina Chandler away from the public, it'd take something worse than rape(And there isn't much worse than that) to get Chris Chan a long term sentence. I think she had a mild court history as well which helped them most likely.

I would have made it that they aren't allowed to continue on with this persona/character online though so the judges dropped the ball. Chris Chan needs a pure detox away from the internet but as shown yesterday, that ain't happening. A lot of hot air being blown up her ass with the comments.

Maybe the next time they assault someone it will be permanent damage.

You'd be surprised at the entertainment factor of "Lawlcows" or "lolcows", it's one of those "You can't look away type of trainwreck" things. CWC aka Chris Chan is a bit different given the whole sexual assault thing sort of tows the line between this being funny and just outright sick. But there's tons of other personalities like Darksydephil/DSP or LowtierGod/LTG or DreamCastGuy who are just hilarious from a gaming verse perspective.

Hard agree but it's also like a car crash, it can be difficult to look away. I stopped watching somewhere around Part 30 though, it was getting too depressing.
