She is the best kept secret in this division, not sure I would have her losing these random matches but she's really good. Reminds me of a female John Morrison in the ring, just athletic as hell. Just needs a character at this point and watch out. 

Perez won the tournament, right call and this was the foregone conclusion once Lyons left via injury.

She's an ex gymnast among other accolades, she's legit talented. 

Say whatever you want about Nick Khan or WWE but them going heavy after the ex athletes are paying off with The Creeds, Stratton, Paxley, (maybe) Lash Legend, and Breakker(Ex Fullback). Huge huge huge upside.

Not sure will Lash and Paxley survive the next cut. Paxley I will try to pay more attention to next time because she blends into the background for me. And not sure will Lash improve enough for their liking

NXT is lacking African American female talents, not sure if Amari Miller lasts but Lash Legend has the size, the mic work and potential to be a female Titus O Neil for the company. She was dead in the water with the Wendy Williams show gimmick, she might be able to make this work as this badass bitch of the locker room. Fact she is going to be working with one of the best workers in the company in KLR/Fyre is a good sign. She had some good matches with Lyons to her credit, I was stunned all things considered. She's raw as hell by all means but as Enzo said it best "She's 6 feet tall and you can't teach that!". 

Same with Paxley getting to work with Nattie, there's a reason she got a chance to wrestle her. I know Alvarez has mentioned that NXT is planning a 6 month audition or cut sort of thing(Which is dumb in itself but that's whole other topic) but I can't see WWE throwing away these two so soon.

It's funny that NXT is running a segment with Two Dimes this week, despite the fact they released him last week.

Why couldn't they have released him after this week, then?

And no Elektra again.  What gives?

I really thought he was going to have one of them how to off the other one to raise up in the family.

Just flicked on NXT randomly to see what's going down.

In the opening match, The Creed Brothers defended their NXT Tag Team Championships against Malik Blade and Edris Enofe. The commentary team made it clear that Blade and Enofe are usually just a pair of goofs so they were doing well just to stay in the contest with the Creed Brothers. Of the two, I thought Enofe showed more in the ring albeit I'm not sure if his twists really made the moves better. For instance, he did this sunset flip where he really jumped up high but the move didn't quite have the impact you'd expect. He did hit a nice dropkick for what it's worth. Otherwise they largely just bumped around while the Creeds grappled or synched in headlock. It looked like Julius may have messed up the finish as well before planting him again. Then Brutus did his Ishii lariat on a seated opponent for the finish. I like the Creed Brothers but I think for what they were going for Blade/Enofe needed to hold their own and nail some more high risk offence to force the Brothers to work their way out of it. It just seemed like the Creed Brothers fumbled their way through until they were finally able to end it.

It seems like NXT fell into the same pattern where they'll give you a meaty opener and an action-packed main event but they'll skim through the rest. I did catch Fallon Henly vs. Tiffany Stratton. I believe I've seen Henly before but under her AEW monicker Tesha Price in a throw-away match on Dark. This is her second stint in NXT but this is the first time I've actually seen her in a match where she's being featured. I thought her strikes were really good, I'm not sure if she was just laying it in Shida style but she got my attention from the get go. I've been really impressed with Stratton whenever I've seen her as well and she even managed to turn a headlock into something interesting by turning it into a bridge. I actually don't mind short-ish matches like this and Henly getting another big upset over Stratton thanks to the assist from Wendy Choo seemed suitable.

Also kept a close eye on Xyonn Quinn vs. Wes Lee. Yeah guys, I don't think Xyon is long for the WWE Universe sadly. Completely jobbed out here and didn't really look that smooth at all. He's been in the WWE system for four years now, it's time.

He's a smaller Cesaro pretty much. I thought it was a death sentence to exclude him from the Imperium guys but he's really finding something here as this cheesy 90's European gimmick.

He is doing really well in his new gimmick. Also maybe my imagination but it feels more like a HHH nXt.

Hmmm there’s a disconnect with me and all the women in the title scene. Mandy is just only passable as a wrestler and hasn’t really showed out as the “veteran” of the bunch and Nikita sucks, to be frank. Cora Jade isn’t exciting and only looks good in multi women matches. Jacy Jayne doesn’t stand out but at least she’s reliable. I really only care for Gigi, who does the most with her character and Roxy who shows a lot of proficiency for her young career.

Yo! I'm now hyped to watch see a Trick Willams/Wes Lee match. Good segment.

That Cora Jade heel turn. :lol: Her skateboard broke apart before she had a chance to hit Rox-C with a clean shot. :lol: Unless both women are allowed to choose different partners, leading to a feud for ownership of the tag titles, this makes the rest of the division look bad.

The druids under mask have to be the Grizzled Young Vets for sure. They are def getting repacked/renamed.

I think they had a certain ceiling as GYT and we knew everyone was getting renamed. Speaking of which, A-Kid is getting repacked as Axiom and will be some sort of shitty Flash ripoff. 

Wes is one of the best talker in the current nXt. He sounds natural and believable. They really should give him more.

Marvel wants a royalty check. I don't know Von Wagnar survives the next cleaning wave of nXt. He wasn't good on the mic before but now he is worse. He inring hasn't advanced much either.

Von Wagner reminds me a little of Jack Swagger. I just want him to succeed because Robert Stone deserves something, all but Aliyah have tasted the blade. Give the man a bone. Wagner is supposedly in talks of getting called up with Sikoa.
